<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Earlier today, a Xiaomi Product Director, who is also the MIUI Experience General Manager, officially </span><a href="https://weibo.com/7017511796/Kkhvx5Zjo"><span style="font-weight: 400">announced</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> that they have established a committee called ‘MIUI Pioneer Group’ more than a week ago. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The members of this council will be responsible for solving all kinds of problems faced by MIUI users. The committee will post their progress in form of a report on Mi Community.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Although this move does not sound like anything extraordinary, it is a welcoming development nevertheless. We hope Xiaomi fixes all the issues with MIUI in the coming months. Because it has been the ‘Achilles&#8217; heel’ of the company’s smartphones for quite some time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Competitors like </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/OPPO/"><span style="font-weight: 400">OPPO</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo/"><span style="font-weight: 400">vivo</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> overhauled their mobile software recently as they started entering new markets. In fact, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ColorOS/"><span style="font-weight: 400">ColorOS</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> has now become one of the best Android skins in the market. Whereas, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Funtouch-OS/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Funtouch OS</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> is much better than the previous iterations.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">On the other hand, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> has set the bar high for Android updates with </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/One-UI/"><span style="font-weight: 400">One UI</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. The company offers </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/18/heres-the-official-list-of-samsung-galaxy-devices-eligible-for-three-generations-of-android-updates/"><span style="font-weight: 400">three Android updates</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/22/samsung-extends-security-updates-to-four-years-for-several-of-its-phones/"><span style="font-weight: 400">at least four years of security updates</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> for most of its devices.</span></p>
