<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/">Motorola </a>has introduced the Moto G Stylus (2026), continuing its push to make stylus-equipped phones more accessible in the mid-range segment. The idea here is fairly straightforward: give users a practical tool for writing, sketching, and quick input, without pushing into flagship pricing.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-733743" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Motorola-launches-Moto-G-Stylus-2026.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>As expected, the built-in &#8220;active stylus&#8221; is the main highlight. It supports pressure and tilt, so it’s not just for basic taps or navigation. Motorola is also leaning into software. You can sketch inside the Notes app and turn drawings into AI-generated images, or write out math problems and have them recognized and solved. It’s not something everyone will use daily, but it does add some real utility.</p>

<p>On the front, the phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Peak brightness is rated at 5000 nits, which sounds impressive, though real-world visibility will depend on how it behaves outside controlled conditions.</p>

<p>It’s built around the same 4nm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/31/snapdragon-6-gen-3-unveiled-same-as-snapdragon-7s-gen-2/">Snapdragon 6 Gen 3</a> 5G chipset as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/08/motorola-g-stylus-2025-launch-specs-price-snapdragon-6-gen-3/">last year’s Moto G Stylus</a>, but Motorola claims a roughly 10% performance boost, likely due to faster memory and storage: UFS 3.1 (up from 2.2) and LPDDR5X (up from LPDDR4X).</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="529" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026-1024x529.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-733892" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026-1024x529.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026-300x155.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026-768x397.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026-696x359.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026-1068x551.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026-813x420.png 813w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-09-000026.png 1412w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C (1/1.56-inch) main sensor, paired with a 13MP ultrawide that also handles macro shots, along with a 32MP front camera. You get 4K video recording across all cameras, plus some AI-based image processing and hybrid zoom.</p>

<p>The device is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance, which is still relatively uncommon at this price point. It packs a 5200mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, and runs Android 16 out of the box.</p>

<p><strong>Pricing and availability:</strong></p>

<p>Starting at $499.99, the Moto G Stylus (2026) sits in the upper mid-range segment and will go on sale in the US starting April 16. </p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/">Motorola</a>’s next stylus-toting mid-ranger and its updated Bluetooth tracker just leaked, giving us a first look at the Moto G Stylus 2026 and Moto Tag 2 months ahead of launch.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="661" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render-1024x661.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-718336" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render-1024x661.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render-300x194.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render-768x496.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render-696x449.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render-1068x689.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render-651x420.webp 651w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-G-Stylus-2026-render.webp 1154w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The images — published by Android Headlines — clear up the confusion from late last year, when <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/28/moto-g-stylus-2026-leak-it-might-actually-be-the-moto-g-power-2026/">a similar render</a> was mistakenly linked to the wrong device. This time, the built-in stylus leaves no doubt: it’s the true Moto G Stylus successor.</p>

<p>At a glance, Motorola isn’t changing much. The camera layout is almost identical to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/01/14/motorola-moto-g-power-2025-and-moto-g-2025-launched/">current model</a>, and the overall design sticks to familiar lines. Two finishes are shown so far: a dark gray option and a soft lavender, with styluses that match the body color.</p>

<p>Specs weren’t shared with the leak, but given the current model’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/31/snapdragon-6-gen-3-unveiled-same-as-snapdragon-7s-gen-2/">Snapdragon 6 Gen 3</a> and mid-range positioning, any upgrades this year are likely to be iterative rather than dramatic.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="555" height="707" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-Tag-2-render.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-718337" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-Tag-2-render.webp 555w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-Tag-2-render-236x300.webp 236w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Moto-Tag-2-render-330x420.webp 330w" sizes="(max-width: 555px) 100vw, 555px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Moto Tag 2 also appears in the leak in beige and bright orange. It looks a lot like the first-gen tracker, though the source claims Motorola has improved button feel and battery life. UWB support, IP67 protection, and compatibility with Google’s Find My Device network are all expected to remain.</p>

<p>Nothing groundbreaking here — but that might be the point. Motorola seems happy to refine what’s already working: a solid budget stylus phone and a reliable tracker that fits neatly into the Android ecosystem. For fans of the Moto G Stylus line, a quiet evolution could be just what they’re hoping for in 2026.</p>
