Motorola has introduced a new member to its G-series lineup in India – the Moto G04s. It’s a budget smartphone that succeeds the Moto G04 launched earlier this year. Let’s walk through the specs, features, and prices of Motorola Moto G04s in India here.

Moto G04s Specifications

The Moto G04s features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ (1612 x 720 pixels) resolution. While the resolution might not be the highest, the display has a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 provides protection against scratches and minor bumps.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor paired with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. Memory options include just 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. You can further expand it using a dedicated microSD card slot.

The software side is handled by My UX based on Android 14 which offers a near-stock Android experience. Motorola is also promising two years of security patch updates for the phone.

The Moto G04s features a single 50MP rear camera with an LED flash. The camera comes with features like portrait mode and auto night vision mode for capturing decent photos in various lighting conditions. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 5MP front-facing camera.

Keeping all things powered is a 5,000mAh battery which Motorola claims can deliver up to 20 hours of video playback on a single charge. While the phone supports 15W fast charging, you only get a 10W charger included in the box.

Other features of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for secure authentication, a single speaker with Dolby Atmos support, a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio, and a water-repellent design for basic protection against splashes.

The Moto G04s comes in a single storage variant – 4GB RAM and 64GB storage – priced at Rs 6,999. The phone will be available for purchase starting June 5th exclusively through Flipkart.

Back in April 2024, Motorola announced the brand-new Moto G04s smartphone model in the European market. The device is an entry-level smartphone, and now, it appears that the G04s is arriving in India as well. So here’s everything we know so far.

As per official notes, the Moto G04s will launch be launching in the region on 30th May 2024. Furthermore, this device will be sold exclusively through Flipkart, a popular e-retailer in India. A Flipkart microsite has also gone live, teasing the launch of the upcoming Motorola budget phone. To recall, the G04s was announced in Europe with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and a center align punch hole cutout.

Under the hood, it is equipped with the UNISOC T606 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users can expand storage via a microSD card slot. Motorola has silently launched the Moto G04s smartphone in Germany. In terms of design and specifications, it is quite similar to the Moto G04, which debuted earlier this year. However, there is one striking difference between the two phones. Here is a look at the specs sheet for the G04s.

Starting from the front, the Moto G04s has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 269ppi pixel density, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a screen-to-body ratio of around 85 percent. The screen is shielded by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. The G04s has a water-repellent construction measuring 163.49 x 74.53 x 7.99mm and it weighs 178 grams.

The display punch-hole houses a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, it has a single 50-megapixel primary camera coupled with an LED flash unit. Both cameras support up to 30fps FHD recording.

The Moto G04s is equipped with the Unisoc T606 processor. It comes in a single configuration that offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot onboard. The phone supports up to 8 GB of virtual RAM and comes preloaded with the latest Android 14 OS, which is layered with Motorola’s MyUX.
