The company has released the Moto G24 Power in two color options in the region. It is available in a Glacier Blue and Ink Blue variant and is also being offered in two storage configurations. Motorola is even offering a discount of 750 INR on exchange. Motorola India recently announced that it will unveil the Moto G24 Power smartphone on Jan. 30. While similar to the Moto G24 destined for other markets, the Indian variant bearing “Power” in its moniker is equipped with distinct features. Flipkart has a dedicated microsite showcasing the G24 Power’s key specifications and features. Adding to the hype, Motorola India’s official website now lists the G24 Power, revealing nearly everything except the price tag.

For selfies, the Moto G24 Power has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The device ships with the latest Android 14 OS.

Earlier this month, Motorola announced the Moto G34 5G smartphone in India. Now, a new device called the G24 Power is confirmed to arrive in the country. It seems that the Lenovo-owned brand is on track to launch a slew of G-series device as the G Play (2024), G24, and G04 have also debuted in the global markets recently.

Motorola announced on its X (formerly Twitter) handle that it will announce the G24 Power in India on January 30. It will be available for purchase from the brand’s official website, Flipkart, and retail stores across the country.

E-commerce platform Flipkart has put up a dedicated microsite of the G24 Power revealing its key specifications. It has a flat frame and a raised camera module as spotted in leaked renders. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The device will arrive in Blue and Grey color options.

The Moto G24 Power will feature a 6.6-inch punch-hole display with an HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It will have a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper. On the rear, the device is confirmed to come with a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP macro lens. The smartphone has stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.

Under the hood, the Moto G24 Power is confirmed to be equipped with Helio G85 processor. It will be offered in 4GB and 8GB RAM options with both packing 128GB internal storage. Motorola is gearing up to launch a couple of new smartphones in India soon. The Moto G24 Power and two other models were recently spotted in a local certification platform, which hints at an imminent launch in the region. So here are all the details.

Moto G24 Power surfaces on BIS

The Moto G24 Power and two other models visited the BIS certification (Bureau of Indian Standards). Looking at the listing, the three devices were spotted carrying the model numbers XT2363-5, XT2425-2, and XT2421-3. Unfortunately, the certification database does not reveal the official moniker of these smartphones. However, the Moto G24 Power was previously spotted on the TDRA database carrying the model number XT2425-3. This means that the XT2425-2 on BIS is likely the same smartphone.

Earlier today (21st December 2023), we also covered a 3C certification listing for the XT2363-4 model, which is believed to be the Moto G34 5G. In other words, the G34 could also be launching in India soon, since the XT2363-5 had surfaced on BIS as well. A recent leak also showcased key specifications of a bunch of Motorola smartphones, namely Moto G04, Moto G24 Power, and Moto G34 5G.

Based on what we know so far, the Moto G24 Power sports a 6.56-inch LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC under the hood and is powered by a large 6,000mAh battery pack. Moto G04, Moto G24 Power, and Moto G34 5G are yet to go official. However, these upcoming budget-friendly Motorola phones have been listed on a retailer site. Here is all the information on their specifications, features, and price:

Moto G04 specifications (rumored)

As per the listing, the Moto G04 will arrive with a 6.56-inch LCD display that supports an HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Unisoc T606 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage. It will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. For photography, it will feature a 5-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel single rear camera. It will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and run on Android 14 with My UX. The device will be sized at 163.49 x 74.53 x 7.99mm and weigh 180 grams.

The device will incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and run on Android 14 with My UX. It is expected to receive one OS upgrade and three years of security updates. It will measure 163.49 x 74.53 x 8.99mm and weigh 196 grams.

The Moto G24 Power is rumored to be priced at 179 euros (~$195) for the only 8GB+256GB variant. It will be offered in Dark Blue and Silver colors.

Leaked renders show design, color options of upcoming Moto G24 Power and G34

Looks like Motorola has two new budget phones in the works, the Moto G24 Power and Moto G34. They’re expected to hit European markets soon. And ahead of their launch, the design of both the Moto G24 Power and Moto G34 have been leaked in a new set of renders. So let’s talk about them in detail here.

Moto G24 Power / Moto G34 renders

The G24 Power sticks to the classic Moto G series look — a glossy back with curved edges, a central logo, and a camera bump that houses a 50MP main lens. The front of the phone has a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera, while the screen has a slightly thicker chin as is typical of most budget devices.

We can see the volume rocker and power button on the right edge, while the left is home to a SIM tray. And, as is obvious, the USB-C charging port sits along with a speaker and a headphone jack at the bottom. The phone will be available in silver and dark color options.

Talking about the Moto G34, the renders show a familiar look for the device. But it comes with a faux leather back in a dark blue variant while there’s also a light blue option with a glossy finish.

Like the G24 Power, the G34 will also have a dual-camera setup led by a 50MP main lens. And of course, the phone keeps all the essentials you need – a headphone jack, USB-C port, and speaker.

Motorola hasn’t officially unveiled the launch date or full specs for these smartphones. However, since leaks have surfaced, we can expect them to pop up on certification sites soon, followed by an official launch. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
