The Motorola G62 5G is now available to purchase exclusively via Flipkart. It is priced at Rs 17,999 ($226) for the 6GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs 19,999 ($251).

In today’s sale, buyers will receive a discount of up to Rs 1,750 when paying with an HDFC Bank credit card.

The Moto G62 5G has a Full HD+ resolution LCD display and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and 405ppi pixel density.

Under the hood, the Moto G62 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. The chipset is complemented by LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. As for software, the device boots Android 12-based MyUI, and it is eligible for the upcoming Android 13 update.

A 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 118-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera are all included on the back of the Moto G62 5G. A couple of months after the Brazilian launch, Motorola has now debuted the Moto G62 5G smartphone in India. It is a budget-midrange 5G device with the Snapdragon 695 chipset at its helm. So, let’s take a look at its specs in detail.

The 6.5-inch IPS display on the Moto G62 5G delivers Full HD+ quality and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is located inside the punch-hole cutout.

It comes in two color options namely Midnight Grey and Frosted Blue and will be available for purchase through Flipkart starting August 19th.

Customers using an HDFC bank credit card can avail up to ₹1750 off on EMI transactions and up to ₹1500 off on non-EMI purchase of the smartphone.

Starting with the Motorola G62 5G, the device comes with a 6.5-inch IPS panel with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device has thick bezels and a punch hole in the center for the selfie camera.

Under the hood, the G42 comes with the Snapdragon 680 4G chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded by up to 1TB using a TF card. The device operates on Android 12 and has a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.

Coming to optics, the G42 has a triple camera setup headlined by 50-megapixel primary sensor. It is paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 118-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, the device has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Other features of the device include face unlock, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and Dolby Atmos-powered dual stereo speakers. Connectivity options offered on the smartphone include a dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Yesterday, Motorola‘s upcoming smartphone dubbed the Moto G62 5G was listed on a European retailer’s website revealing its specifications and pricing.

Now, tipster Roland Quandt has revealed multiple renders of the device showcasing its design from every angle.

The renders (via WinFuture) reveal that Moto G62 5G will come with a curved back design, featuring a vertical pill-shaped camera island with three camera cutouts and an LED flash. Both the power button and the volume rocker are located on the right side, while the base has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port, and a speaker grill.

Coming to the front of the device, it has narrow bezels and a noticeable chin. The front panel also has a punch-hole cutout in the center for the front camera.

Moto G62 5G specifications and pricing (leaked)

As per the previous leak, the device features a 6.52-inch Full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely an OLED panel.

Under the hood, the device comes powered by the 5G enabled Snapdragon 480+ chipset. The device packs 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that is also expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. It draws juice from a large 5,000mAh battery unit, but its fast charging capabilities are still under wraps. It runs on Android 12 out of the box and offers a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos tuning.

For optics, the smartphone has a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary combined with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel sensor. The G62 5G will come in two colors – Frosted Blue and Midnight Grey.

Motorola recently launched the Moto G52 in the Indian market and the next few devices expected to arrive are the Moto G82 5G and Moto G62 5G. The latter has now passed the FCC certification website revealing its key details. With this certification, we expect the launch to be near.

The Motorola Moto G62 5G has arrived on the FCC certification website with model number XT2223-2. As per the listing, the smartphone will come with a 4,700mAh battery and have a 20W fast charging support. This is contrary to the previous leak that mentioned a 6000mAh cell with 33W fast charging.

The listing also confirms that it is a 5G phone with support for dual SIM. Furthermore, it has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC support.

Apart from this, there’s nothing else to look at. However, previous leaks have revealed some of its details. The smartphone is confirmed to come with Android 12  out of the box. It is tipped to come with a punch-hole display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is expected to be either a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.

Moreover, it is said to come with a triple camera system with a 50MP main lens. It is expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for security, it is rumored to have a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
