<h4><strong>OPPO Reno5 series</strong></h4>
<p>Perhaps, the next big launch in China would be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/26/oppo-reno5-series-global-launch-could-be-in-december-key-details-emerge/">Reno5 series of smartphones</a>. It is rumored to launch on December 10 in China. Anyway, the lineup will likely have three devices- Reno5 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, Reno5 Pro+ 5G. The entire specs of the device have been <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/30/oppo-reno5-series-massive-leak-reveals-specs-and-pricing-likely-to-launch-on-december-10/">leaked</a> ahead of launch.</p>
<figure id="attachment_357476" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-357476" style="width: 2200px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-357476 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders.jpg?x10805" alt="Alleged Reno5 front renders" width="2200" height="1500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders.jpg 2200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-300x205.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-768x524.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-1024x698.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-218x150.jpg 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-696x475.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-1068x728.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-616x420.jpg 616w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/OPPO-Reno5-front-renders-1920x1309.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2200px) 100vw, 2200px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-357476" class="wp-caption-text">Representative image of Reno4 Series. Leaks say that the Reno5 series will be similar</figcaption></figure>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno5-5g/">Reno5 5G</a> will probably have a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED FHD+(1080p) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G SoC, 4,300mAh battery with 65W charging, ColorOS 11. As for the optics, it will likely feature a quad-camera setup with 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, two 2MP sensors, and a 32MP selfie shooter.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno5-pro-5g/">Reno5 Pro</a> will have similar specs as the Reno5 but a bigger 6.55-inch display, Dimensity 1000+ SoC, and a slightly larger 4,350mAh battery. And as per leaks, the difference between Reno5 Pro and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno5-pro-+-5g/">Reno5 Pro+</a> is a bigger 4,500mAh battery, Snapdragon 865 SoC, and rear cameras. Accordingly, it will most likely include a mysterious Sony IMX7xx 50MP lens, 16MP ultra-wide, 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom, and a 2MP macro sensor.</p>

<h4><strong>Lenovo Lemon K12 Series </strong></h4>
<p>After <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/10/lenovo-to-launch-lemon-branded-entry-level-phones-soon-in-china/">confirming the arrival of Lemon brand</a> smartphones, Lenovo has confirmed that the Lemon K12 series of smartphones will launch on December 9 in China. The devices are likely rebranded Motorola phones from Global markets. Accordingly, the Lenovo K12 Pro will be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/24/lenovo-k12-pro-xt2091-7-8-fcc-tenaa-rebranded-moto-g9-power/">rebranded version</a> of Moto G9, while the K12 will be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/24/lenovo-xt2081-4-tenaa-lemon-branded-phone-rebranded-moto-e7-plus/">rebrand of Moto E7</a>.</p>

<p>Thus, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-k12-pro/">Lenovo K12 Pro</a> will likely feature a 6.8-inch LCD HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, triple-camera with 64MP main, two 2MP macro&amp; depth sensors, 16MP selfie shooter, 6,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-k12/">Lenovo K12</a> will probably have a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display, Snapdragon 460 SoC, triple camera with 48MP main, and two 2MP sensors, 8MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.</p>
<h4></h4>
<h4><strong>Huawei Nova8, Honor V40 series</strong></h4>
<p>Huawei launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/05/huawei-nova-8-se-in-dimensity-720-800u-chipset-64mp-quad-cameras-and-66w-fast-charging-launched-for-2599-yuan-391/">Nova 8 SE</a> back in November. The company is expected to expand the Nova8 lineup and if <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/12/huawei-nova-8-honor-v40-arriving-in-december-camera-design-revealed/">reports</a> are true it will happen this month. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/27/huawei-nova-8-series-phone-receives-3c-certification-reveals-66w-fast-charging-support/">Certifications received an earlier</a> hint that the lineup will include two more devices- Nova8, and Nova8 Pro. The Pro model will likely feature a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/25/huawei-nova-8-pro-live-shots-appear-to-reveal-front-design/">dual punch-hole display with curved edges</a>. Sadly, not much is known about the series but the Nova 8 could sport <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-820" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dimensity 820</a> SoC, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/12/huawei-nova-8-honor-v40-arriving-in-december-camera-design-revealed/">rectangular layout</a> with quad-cameras, while the Pro model will have <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-1000-plus" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dimensity 1000+</a> SoC.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-347845" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/honor-v40.jpg?x10805" alt="honor v40 series" width="679" height="294" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/honor-v40.jpg 679w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/honor-v40-300x130.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 679px) 100vw, 679px" /></p>
<p>The Honor V40 series was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/05/upcoming-smartphones-november-2020-edition/">expected to launch last month</a>. However, a lot happened in December and now Honor is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/17/huawei-sells-honor-subsidiary-to-zhixin-new-information-technology-co-ltd/">no longer a sub-brand of Huawei</a>. Hence, the V40 series could be the first Honor Smartphones after the split. Although it is rumored to launch in December along with the Nova8 series, some reports say that it might get skipped to Jan 2021. The series will have V40 Pro, V40 Pro+. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/23/honor-v40-series-may-not-feature-kirin-9000-claims-leak/">Reports say</a> that both the devices will have a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, 50MP Sony IMX700 RYYB camera, 66W wired &amp; 40W wireless charging, 5G, Dimensity 1000+ SoC(V40), and more.</p>

<p>After a lot of delays, Vivo has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/27/vivo-v20-pro-5g-launch-date-for-india-finally-confirmed/">finally confirmed</a> that V20 Pro will launch in India on December 2. To recall, the device launched back in September in China. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v20-pro/">Vivo V20 Pro</a> features a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, triple-camera with 64MP, 8MP, 2MP lenses, and a dual-front camera with 44MP main, and 8MP ultra-wide lens, 4,100mAh with 33W fast charging.</p>
<p>Vivo recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/18/vivo-officially-unveils-originos-its-a-complete-system-overhaul-from-funtouchos/">launched</a> the OriginOS in China. It is expected to power the new Vivo smartphones going forward. While the company has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/01/originos-beta-registrations-vivo-x50-s7-nex-3s-iqoo-iqoo-neo3/">opened beta registrations</a> for existing devices, its upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo-x60/">Vivo X60 series</a> will likely get it out of the box. Reports say that the series will have Vivo X60, X60 Pro, likely <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/11/vivo-x60-and-vivo-x60-pro-to-come-with-exynos-1080-chipset-to-start-at-%c2%a53500-528/">feature Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC,</a> and start around 3,500 yuan($532).</p>

Considering the early launches, it is speculated that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/20/galaxy-a02-tuv-rheinland-battery-specs/">upcoming Galaxy A02</a> will land as M02 in India. Galaxy A52 is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/10/samsung-galaxy-a52-5g-with-snapdragon-750g-gets-benchmarked-on-geekbench/">expected</a> to feature Snapdragon 750G 5G, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/17/samsung-galaxy-a52-leak-reveals-64mp-quad-camera-setup/">64MP main camera</a>, 8MP unknown sensor, and 3x Telephoto lens. <p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-341796" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/moto-g9-plus-3.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto G9 Plus" width="848" height="596" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/moto-g9-plus-3.jpg 848w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/moto-g9-plus-3-300x211.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/moto-g9-plus-3-768x540.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/moto-g9-plus-3-100x70.jpg 100w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/moto-g9-plus-3-696x489.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/moto-g9-plus-3-598x420.jpg 598w" sizes="(max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px" /></p>
<p>As reported by MySmartPrice, two <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Motorola">Motorola</a> devices with model numbers XT2083-7, XT2087-3 are listed on the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/BIS">BIS</a> <a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/moto-g9-plus-india-launch-expected-soon-receives-bis-certification/">database</a>. Accordingly, the XT2087-3 could just be a variant of the Moto G9 Plus for India. This is because a device with a similar model number(XT2087-1) earlier visited <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/27/moto-g9-plus-with-a-30w-4700mah-battery-certified-by-tuv-rheinland/">TÜV Rheinland</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/01/motorola-moto-g9-plus-may-launch-soon-as-it-visits-fcc/">FCC certifications</a>. It later turned out to be the Moto G9 Plus for European markets.</p>
<p>Besides, if we recall, Motorola had <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/24/moto-g9-with-6-5-inch-display-48mp-triple-cameras-snapdragon-662-and-5000mah-battery-launched-for-rs-11499-153/">launched </a>the non-Plus smartphone, Moto G9 long back in India. This device also launched as the Moto G9 Play, and Lenovo K12 Note in countries like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/25/moto-g9-play-launched-in-europe-as-rebadged-version-of-indias-moto-g9/">UK</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/05/lenovo-k12-note-with-snapdragon-662-48mp-triple-cameras-and-5000mah-battery-launched/">Saudi Arabia</a> respectively. However, we think that the Plus variant will carry the same G9 Plus moniker in India as usual.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-356870" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/moto-g9-plus-BIS.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="1390" height="132" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/moto-g9-plus-BIS.jpg 1390w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/moto-g9-plus-BIS-300x28.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/moto-g9-plus-BIS-768x73.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/moto-g9-plus-BIS-1024x97.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/moto-g9-plus-BIS-696x66.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/moto-g9-plus-BIS-1068x101.jpg 1068w" sizes="(max-width: 1390px) 100vw, 1390px" /></p>
<h4><strong>Motorola Moto G9 Plus Specifications</strong></h4>
<p>Talking about the specs, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-moto-g9-plus/">Moto G9 Plus</a> features a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD display. According to Motorola, it is a Max Vision Display and has a resolution of 2400&#215;1080 pixels, 386 PPI, and 89.4% screen-body ratio. It packs great specifications offered at a modest price, but it has a lot of concurrences. In order to understand whether or not the new Motorola mid-ranger deserves a chance, we decided to compare it with the latest affordable beasts launched by Xiaomi and Realme: the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x3-nfc">POCO X3 NFC</a> and the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/realme-7-pro">Realme 7 Pro</a>. These devices have a huge value for money, that is why we chose them for this battle. Let&#8217;s discover all the differences between the three handsets through an in-depth specs comparison.</p>

<h3>Design</h3>
<p>Not everyone may like the POCO X3 NFC due to the big POCO branding on the rear side and its weird camera module, but it has a very nice build quality including an aluminum frame. Motorola Moto G9 Plus looks pretty nice with its compact camera module and it reminds me of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 lineup. Even Realme 7 Pro has an original and good-looking design, and it is even water-repellent. It is very hard to pick a winner of the design comparison because it mostly depends on the tastes of the users: do you prefer a better build quality or a more beautiful look?</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>The Realme 7 Pro is the only handset of this trio to feature an AMOLED panel, and that is the reason why it wins the comparison. It shows more brilliant colors and it sports an under-display fingerprint reader. Realme decided to equip this device with an AMOLED display after listening to the users&#8217; feedbacks: it seems like users prefer AMOLED display with a standard refresh rate instead of IPS panels with high refresh rates. But the POCO X3 NFC remains very interesting because it has a very high 120 Hz refresh rate and the HDR10 certification. It even comes with stereo speakers for a better multimedia experience.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Specs &amp; Software</h3>
<p>The most powerful device of this comparison is the POCO X3 NFC because it packs a stronger chipset: the new Snapdragon 732G which is actually an upgrade of the Snapdragon 730G found on the Motorola Moto G9 Plus. The chipset is paired with 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage which you can furtherly expand with a micro SD. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus packs a better chipset than Realme 7 Pro (Snapdragon 730G vs Snapdragon 720G), but Realme 7 Pro is still superior because it doubles the RAM (8 GB vs 4 GB) and the Snapdragon 720G is more or less at the same level as the 730G. With these three devices, you naturally get Android 10 out of the box.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Camera</h3>
<p>On the paper, the most advanced camera department is on board of the POCO X3 NFC, at least when it comes to the rear cameras. Indeed, it features a better ultrawide sensor with a 13 MP resolution instead of the 8 MP ultrawide lens found on the Moto G9 Plus and the Realme 7 Pro. On the other hand, Realme 7 Pro wins the selfie camera comparison with its 32 MP front camera. Motorola Moto G9 Plus and Realme 7 Pro come with the same rear camera department which should not be so different from the Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>POCO X3 NFC packs a bigger 5160 mAh battery and, despite its higher refresh rate, it should last more than Realme 7 Pro on a single charge. Motorola Moto G9 Plus should have a similar battery life with a 5000 mAh battery.  But the Realme 7 Pro charges a lot faster with its 65W fast charging tech.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Price</h3>
<p>POCO X3 NFC is priced €229/$273 globally, Motorola Moto G9 Plus starts from €250/$296, and Realme 7 Pro starts from €230/$273 in India. The most complete device of this comparison is the POCO X3 NFC, but some may prefer the Realme 7 Pro for its AMOLED display and its 65W fast charging. Which one would you pick?</p>

While the listing did reveal most of the key specifications of the upcoming device, it didn&#8217;t say the processor. Now, a Google Play Console listing has revealed what was hidden.</p>
<p>According to the listing which was first spotted by <em><a href="https://pricebaba.com/blog/moto-g9-plus-google-play-console-listing">Pricebaba</a></em>, the Moto G9 Plus will be powered by the Qualcomm SM7150 mobile platform. While the listing does say that it is the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-730">Snapdragon 730</a> processor, it may turn out to be the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-730G">Snapdragon 730G</a> as both chipsets have the same SM7150 part number. If you were to ask us which chipset it is, we will choose the Snapdragon 730G.</p>

<p>The listing confirms the phone has just 4GB of RAM, a 1080p display, and will run Android 10 out of the box.</p>
<p>Motorola will ship the phone with a 6.81-inch screen that has a hole in the top left corner of the screen. On the back of the phone will be a 64MP quad-camera setup and under the hood is a 5000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. Other features are dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, and support for a MicroSD card.</p>
<p>We expect Motorola to announce the device anytime soon and availability should follow shortly after.</p>

The smartphone also clinched EEC certification. As an indication that the device may soon be launched, the Moto G9 Plus has again been spotted on TUV Rheinland bearing the same model numbers XT2087-1 and XT2087-2.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-334061" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto G9 Plus TUV Rheinland" width="1200" height="894" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-300x224.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-768x572.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-1024x763.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-696x519.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-1068x796.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-564x420.jpg 564w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></a></p>
<p>The TUV Rheinland&#8217;s certification pages show the battery capacity and charging speeds. This includes the presence of a large 4700mAh battery and a super-fast 30W charging support. The two model numbers could be that there may be two variants, perhaps the Moto G9 alongside the G9 Plus. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-334062" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto G9 Plus TUV Rheinland" width="1200" height="783" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2-300x196.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2-768x501.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2-1024x668.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2-696x454.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2-1068x697.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/moto-g9-2-644x420.jpg 644w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></a></p>
<p>Earlier on, the device was certified by EEC which reveal the presence of up to 4GB of RAM as well as internal storage of 128GB. If we are to hudge by the number of certifications the mobile phone has garnered, it is safe to assume that the launch is by the corner. Motorola may just spring a surprise and announce the models in one of its key markets in the coming weeks without any pre-launch teaser.</p>

The manufacturer has announced three new phones this month and we are just in the second week. There is a chance we may be getting another Moto G phone later this month as the Moto G9 Plus has been spotted on an online store.</p>
<p>A screenshot of the price of the Moto G9 Plus was shared on Twitter by Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) today and it shows the device will be priced at €227.15. For that price, you get 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The listing also reveals the device has dual-SIM support.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, the screenshot doesn&#8217;t list the full specs neither does it include an image of the phone.</p>
<p>While we have not heard anything prior to this regarding the Moto G9 series, it is actually not too early for a successor for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-g8-plus/">Moto G8 Plus</a> which launched in October 2019. Its siblings such as the Moto G9 are expected to launch much later. Nevertheless, we advise you to take the info with a grain of salt until more concrete evidence surfaces.</p>
