The company has been releasing phones under its own name as well as its subsidiary brands such as <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/07/29/zuk-z2-rio-edition-3gb32gb-cheapest-snapdragon-820/">ZUK</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/09/06/moto-z-moto-z-play-oficially-launches-china/">Moto</a>. We have already seen a number of Moto smartphone this year, but it looks like there&#8217;s more. A new Moto M (XT-1662) was spotted in the wild in a new leaked image, revealing the existence of the device.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/moto-m-live-leak.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-99331" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/moto-m-live-leak.jpg?x10805" alt="moto-m-live-leak" width="635" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/moto-m-live-leak.jpg 635w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/moto-m-live-leak-300x283.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px" /></a></p>
<p>Motorola seems to be continuing with its traditional design philosophy on the new Moto M. You have the standard round corners with the company branding at the bottom of the display. The bezels look quite slim too, which is good. This particular model already passed through the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/08/31/moto-m-certified-tenaa-specs-different-gfxbench/">TENAA certification</a> last month, which revealed a lot of information about the phone. But this seems to be the first time that we are seeing the Moto M has leaked in a real life image.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">RELATED:</span> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/09/20/moto-e3-power-goes-official-in-india-with-3500mah-battery-for-inr-7999/">Moto E3 Power Goes Official In India With 3500mAh Battery For INR 7,999</a></strong></p>

<figure id="attachment_96144" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-96144" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-96144 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto M" width="610" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-96144" class="wp-caption-text">Moto M on TENAA</figcaption></figure>
<p>Today&#8217;s leak confirms that the Moto M will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The screen size should be of 5.5-inches with 1080p resolution. Further, at the back, the phone will come with a 16MP camera while up front, there will be an 8MP shooter. Another detail revealed by the leak is the software on board, which is Android 6 Marshmallow. We can&#8217;t find a fingerprint sensor up front, but it should be located at the back of the device. TENAA had also confirmed that the phone will come with a 3000mAh battery.</p>
<p>Since this model has passed through TENAA already, it&#8217;s possible that the phone is exclusive to the Chinese market. There was another Moto smartphone that was spotted recently, featuring a 4.6-inch display and MT6750 chipset. Both could be announced soon, so stay tuned!</p>

The GFXBench data posted a device with 4.6-inch 1080 pixel display, powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset with Mali-T860 GPU, a 3GB RAM, and 25GB of internal storage. Other specs listed include the device will boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and feature a 15MP rear and 7 MP front facing camera respectively.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-96144" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto M" width="610" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></p>
<p>However, another Moto M has been spotted on TENAA, revealing a different specs line-up from GFXBench&#8217;s. According to the TENAA data, the device purported to be the Moto M comes with a different model number &#8211; XT1662 and a dimension of <span class="notranslate">151 x 75 x 8 mm. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch TFT display with 1080p resolution, as against the 4.6-inches listed on GFXBench. The device is also shown to pack a 3,000mAh battery, will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor accompanied by a 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB built-in storage options, expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-96149" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m-tenaa.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto M TENAA" width="610" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m-tenaa.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/moto-m-tenaa-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></p>
<p>The attached images of the TENAA listed device reveals a cleanly designed phone with well chamfered curved edges which are customary to Motorola smartphones. The body is made entirely of metal and on the back lies the rear camera and LED flash under it. The trademark <span style="color: #3366ff"><a style="color: #3366ff" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/08/29/much-loved-moto-dimple-will-double-fingerprint-scanner-moto-m/">Moto dimple on the Moto X has been replaced by a fingerprint sensor</a></span>, just as predicted, with the Moto logo lying at the bottom edge.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>Read More:</strong></span> <span style="color: #0000ff"><strong><a style="color: #0000ff" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/08/22/lenovo-september-6-launch-moto-z-china/">Lenovo announces September 6 launch date for Moto Z in China</a></strong></span></p>
<p>Since both model numbers are different, it is possible this one is a large screen version of the Moto M meant for the Chinese market, while the smaller 4.6-inch model spotted on GFXBench will be sold to the foreign market, perhaps.</p>
