<p>Lenovo is set to host a major product launch event on May 19, 2026, in China, bringing together its latest innovations across smartphones, laptops, and tablets. The event, themed “Tianxi AI, All-in-One Multi-Terminal, All-Scenario New Product Super Night,” clearly signals the company’s growing focus on building a deeply connected AI ecosystem across devices. This launch is not just about individual products; it’s about how they work together seamlessly in real-world scenarios.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="515" height="681" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-116.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-734922" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-116.png 515w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-116-227x300.png 227w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-116-318x420.png 318w" sizes="(max-width: 515px) 100vw, 515px" /></figure></div>

<p>Leading the announcements is the new Legion Y70, a next-generation gaming smartphone expected to deliver significant upgrades in performance, thermal management, and gaming-centric features. Lenovo is likely aiming to push deeper into the mobile gaming space with this refreshed model.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="758" height="562" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-117.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-734923" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-117.png 758w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-117-300x222.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-117-485x360.png 485w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-117-696x516.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-117-566x420.png 566w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-117-80x60.png 80w" sizes="(max-width: 758px) 100vw, 758px" /><figcaption>Moto Razr Fold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Another highlight is the Moto Razr Fold, Lenovo’s first large-format foldable smartphone, previously showcased at MWC 2026. It comes powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 16GB RAM and a massive 6000mAh battery. With support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, it positions itself as a premium foldable priced at around €1999.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="638" height="650" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-118.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-734924" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-118.png 638w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-118-294x300.png 294w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-118-412x420.png 412w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-118-356x364.png 356w" sizes="(max-width: 638px) 100vw, 638px" /><figcaption>YOGA Air 14 Ultra</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the productivity side, Lenovo will introduce the YOGA Air 14 Ultra, an ultra-lightweight AI PC weighing under 1kg. Designed for portability and premium usage, it emphasizes AI-driven features and a sleek design.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="687" height="686" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-119.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-734925" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-119.png 687w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-119-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-119-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-119-421x420.png 421w" sizes="(max-width: 687px) 100vw, 687px" /><figcaption>Legion Y900 tablet</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The event will also feature the Legion Y900 tablet, expected to blend gaming and productivity with AI enhancements, alongside the Legion Y7000X laptop, which targets users needing powerful CPU and GPU performance for both gaming and creative workloads.</p>

<p>Overall, Lenovo’s May 19 event reflects a clear strategy: unify gaming, productivity, and AI into a cohesive multi-device experience.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/">Motorola</a> is finally moving into the book-style foldable space. The new Moto Razr Fold has started showing up on retail listings in China, confirming that pre-orders will begin on May 31 in the country.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="674" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205-1024x674.png?x44794" alt="Motorola Razr Fold" class="wp-image-729534" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205-1024x674.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205-300x197.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205-768x505.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205-696x458.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205-1068x703.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205-638x420.png 638w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/DXO-Blog-Header-1-e1772671487205.png 1511w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Interestingly, buyers in the UK will get access sooner. Motorola UK posted on X on March 27 that pre-orders there would open in 15 days, meaning the wait is nearly over. The phone was already introduced at MWC earlier this year, but it’s only now starting to appear in a more consumer-facing way.</p>

<p>The Razr Fold runs on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/04/snapdragon-8-gen-5-vs-dimensity-9300-benchmark-score-spec-sheet-and-more/">Snapdragon 8 Gen 5</a>, paired with 16GB of RAM. That’s more than enough for running multiple apps at once. The battery is also on the larger side at 6,000mAh. It supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, along with reverse charging.</p>

<p>There’s also support for the Moto Pen Ultra, which suggests Motorola wants this to double as a productivity device, not just something for media consumption.</p>

<p>The display setup looks fairly typical for a foldable, but with some interesting choices. Inside, there’s an 8.09-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, the 6.56-inch display goes up to 165Hz, which is a bit unusual for a foldable. Although how much that matters in daily use is another question.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="587" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/b436dfa0-37a3-4da4-995e-dbc8b256db35-587x1024.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-733275" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/b436dfa0-37a3-4da4-995e-dbc8b256db35-587x1024.webp 587w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/b436dfa0-37a3-4da4-995e-dbc8b256db35-172x300.webp 172w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/b436dfa0-37a3-4da4-995e-dbc8b256db35-696x1215.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/b436dfa0-37a3-4da4-995e-dbc8b256db35-241x420.webp 241w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/b436dfa0-37a3-4da4-995e-dbc8b256db35.webp 750w" sizes="(max-width: 587px) 100vw, 587px" /></figure></div>

<p>In terms of size, it comes in at around 9.9mm folded and 4.6mm unfolded, weighing about 244 grams. Its&#8217;a bit heavier like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-7/">Galaxy Z Fold7</a> (215g) and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/13/honor-magic-v6-experience-the-new-king-of-foldables/">Honor Magic V6</a> (219g).</p>

<p>The camera setup includes three 50MP sensors on the back: a main, ultra-wide, and a 3x telephoto. For selfies, there’s a 32MP camera on the outer display and a 20MP one inside.</p>

<p>Pricing is listed at €1,999, which puts it right alongside other premium foldables. That’s not surprising, though it does make the usual question of value a bit harder to answer.</p>

<p>There are still a few unknowns, especially around availability in different regions, but with pre-orders nearing, those details should start to clear up soon.</p>

<p>That may finally be changing. Tipster Evan Blass, via X, shared the first renders of the Moto Razr Fold, officially Motorola’s first book-style foldable.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Razr-Fold-Design.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" data-id="722311" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Razr-Fold-Design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-722311" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Razr-Fold-Design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Razr-Fold-Design-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Razr-Fold-Design-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Razr-Fold-Design-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Razr-Fold-Design-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a></figure>

<p>At first glance, the Fold has a visual appearance similar to Motorola’s Edge series. The squircle camera module is left-aligned and consists of three lenses and an LED light. The black variant appears to have a carbon-fiber finish, while the white model could feature a faux-leather finish.</p>

<p>There’s also an extra button on the left side of the device. If Motorola follows the same design logic as the Razr 60 Ultra, this button could be dedicated to one-tap AI features to speed up everyday interactions.</p>

<h2><strong>It’s not a wide foldable</strong></h2>

<p>What’s particularly interesting is the form factor Motorola seems to be going with. Rather than adopting a wider design like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro-fold/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google’s Pixel Fold</a>, the Razr Fold appears closer to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series. The outer display is tall and narrow, while the inner screen looks almost square.</p>

<p>That layout works well for multitasking, side-by-side apps, and portrait browsing. The downside, as usual, is video playback. You’ll likely see black bars at the top and bottom when watching most content.</p>

<p>Apple, reportedly for this very reason, is said to be leaning toward a wider form factor for its upcoming iPhone Fold.</p>

<p>Still, Motorola may have one advantage here: stylus support. The Razr Fold is expected to support pen input, something Samsung has gradually walked back on newer foldables in its push to make devices thinner. The stylus is reportedly called the Moto Pen Ultra and will come in Pantone’s <em>Color of the Year</em> shade, Cloud Dancer.</p>
