<p>The smartwatch has a 1.43-inch OLED display inside a 47mm aluminum case. There&#8217;s a stainless steel crown on the side for controls. You can pick between silicone, leather, or stainless steel bands. The display has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It&#8217;s IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, plus there&#8217;s a 1 ATM rating for shallow water.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-1024x768.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-722560" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Motorola partnered with Polar, a sports science company, for the fitness features. The watch tracks steps, heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, and sleep. It includes Polar&#8217;s features like Smart Calories, Nightly Recharge, and Activity Score. These focus on recovery and workout intensity instead of just numbers. You also get hydration reminders, medication alerts, and custom goals.</p>

<p>The watch has dual-frequency GPS and can handle phone calls through its built-in speaker and microphone. Motorola&#8217;s moto ai handles notifications and summaries, including a &#8220;Catch me up&#8221; feature on supported phones. The watch runs on Motorola&#8217;s own software, not Wear OS. You need Android 12 or later to use it.</p>

<p>Battery life hits 13 days with normal use or around 7 days with the always-on display turned on. Motorola says a five-minute charge gives you a full day of use.</p>

<p>The Moto Watch comes in Matte Black and Matte Silver. After launch, you can buy it on Flipkart, motorola.in, and at offline stores. In the US, the watch will be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/07/motorola-introduces-moto-watch-with-polar-fitness-tech-and-13-day-battery-life/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">available starting January 22, 2026</a>, with international availability beginning in February.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/">Motorola</a> is making another push into wearables at <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ces-2026/">CES 2026</a> with the launch of the Moto Watch, marking its return to the smartwatch space after last year’s Moto Watch Fit. The new model leans more heavily into health and fitness, thanks to a partnership with sports science company Polar.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch-1024x576.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-722558" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/moto-watch.png 1319w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Unlike the square <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/25/motorola-unveils-affordable-moto-watch-fit-with-amoled-display-gps-health-tracking-features/">Watch Fit</a>, the Moto Watch adopts a round design with a 1.43-inch OLED display inside a 47mm aluminum case. A stainless steel crown sits on the side, and users can choose between silicone, leather, or stainless steel bands. The watch is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, with an additional 1 ATM rating for shallow water use. Motorola is using Gorilla Glass 3 to protect the display.</p>

<p>Fitness tracking is where the Polar collaboration shows up. The Moto Watch tracks steps, continuous heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, and sleep. It also includes several of Polar’s long-standing features, such as Smart Calories, Nightly Recharge, and Activity Score, which focus on recovery and workout intensity rather than just raw numbers. Hydration reminders, medication alerts, and customizable goals are included as well.</p>

<p>On the smartwatch side, the Moto Watch supports dual-frequency GPS and phone call handling via a built-in speaker and microphone. Notifications and summaries can be surfaced through Motorola’s moto ai, including a “Catch me up” feature on supported phones. The watch runs on Motorola&#8217;s own proprietary software instead of Wear OS and requires Android 12 or later.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-1024x768.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-722560" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Moto-Watch-straps-1.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Battery life is rated at up to 13 days, or around 7 days with the always-on display enabled. Motorola also claims a five-minute top-up is enough to get through a full day.</p>

<p><strong>Pricing and availability:</strong></p>

<p>Pricing starts at €99.99 with a silicone strap and goes up to €149.99 for stainless steel versions. The watch will reportedly be available in the U.S. starting January 22, 2026, with international availability beginning in February.</p>

<p>This is Motorola’s first device to carry a “Powered by Polar” badge. Whether that partnership helps it stand out in a crowded smartwatch market is still an open question, but on paper, the Moto Watch is shaping up as a more fitness-focused and affordable alternative to mainstream options.</p>

Two of those watches will have a round dial while the third will have a square dial. Now, the specifications of one of the smartwatches with a round dial, the Moto Watch One, have surfaced on the web, thanks to an official render of the device.</p>
<p>The image which was posted on <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/WearOS/comments/lvvj9h/new_moto_watch_backplate_text_blown_up_names/">Reddit</a> shows the underside of the Moto Watch One. The smartwatch has two buttons on the visible side and quick release straps that appear to be made of leather.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_374416" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-374416" style="width: 929px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-374416 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Motorola-Moto-Watch.png?x10805" alt="Motorola Moto Watch" width="929" height="929" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Motorola-Moto-Watch.png 929w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Motorola-Moto-Watch-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Motorola-Moto-Watch-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Motorola-Moto-Watch-768x768.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Motorola-Moto-Watch-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Motorola-Moto-Watch-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 929px) 100vw, 929px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-374416" class="wp-caption-text">Image source: Reddit (r/WearOS)</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>The underside of the smartwatch has some of the specifications printed on it which are a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm-snapdragon-wear-4100/">Snapdragon 4100</a> processor, NFC, 5 ATM waterproof rating, and GPS. The image also shows a visible charging coil which means it will support wireless charging.</p>
<p>From the aforementioned specifications, we can tell that this is a high-end watch. The Snapdragon Wear 4100 was unveiled last year and made its first appearance in the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/25/ticwatch-3-pro-first-watch-snapdragon-wear-4100/">TicWatch Pro 3</a>, a $299.99 smartwatch.</p>
<p>There are still a lot of unknown features of the smartwatch but we are sure it will be able to compete with some of the top smartwatches available on the market when it launches.</p>
<p>For those who want a more affordable watch, we want to believe the second Motorola smartwatch which will launch as the Moto G Smartwatch will be the one for them.</p>
<p>eBuyNow will announce the Moto G Smartwatch in June while the Moto Watch One and the square-faced Moto Watch will be announced in July.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The screenshots shared by the person also reveal the design of these three upcoming wearables. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">First and foremost, the Moto Watch will be identical to the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Apple-Watch/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Apple Watch</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and thus, it will be the first Motorola-branded smartwatch with a square dial. Whereas, the Moto Watch One and Moto G Smartwatch will sport a circular dial, just like the previous Moto 360 watches. <p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-373587 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto G Smartwatch Leak" width="4000" height="2250" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak.jpg 4000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Moto-G-Smartwatch-Leak-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 4000px) 100vw, 4000px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Unfortunately, their specifications are a mystery but we can expect them to arrive with </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Google/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Google</span></a> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Wear-OS/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Wear OS</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> like the previous watches from </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Motorola/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Motorola</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. Anyway, it is possible that the Moto G Smartwatch, which we think will be the most affordable of the three, could come with different internals and software to keep the price down.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">That’s because the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/?post_type=aps-products&amp;s=Moto+G"><span style="font-weight: 400">Moto G</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> lineup of smartphones is known for affordability. The devices in the series offer basic specs at a cheaper price tag. Anyway, this is merely speculation from our end and therefore, we could be wrong.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Last but not least, as per the PDF file, the Moto Watch and Moto Watch One will launch in July 2021. On the other hand, the Moto G Smartwatch will release a month earlier in June 2021.</span></p>
