Today, he has tweeted a leaked image that seems to be shot at the same presentation. The new image shows the entire line of next generation Moto devices.

Before getting acquired by Lenovo, Motorola had released three series of Moto devices since couple of years. The Moto X line constituted of flagship phones and the Moto G series were midrange phones. The Moto E budget-friendly phones came with modest specs.

After getting acquired by Lenovo, the Chinese firm released the new Moto Z series with support for modular accessories in the previous year and there were no Moto X smartphones in 2016. It made the smartphone enthusiasts feel that the Moto Z line was introduced to replace the Moto X series. In 2016, Lenovo had also released Moto G4 and Moto E3 series phones. However, rumors started swirling in the last quarter of 2016 that Lenovo may launch the Moto X this year.= with midrange specs.

The following leaked shot shows the entire list of next-generation Moto series smartphones that are going to launch in future.

The Moto Z Play will possess a 5.5-inch full HD display and support for Moto Mods accessories. The Moto Z Force will feature ShatterShield display, Moto Mods accessories support and 1 GB LTE speed.

The Moto G lineup include Moto gS and Moto gS+. The Moto gS will be featuring a 5.2-inch with FHD screen and full metallic chassis. The Moto gS+ would be coming with a 5.5-inch FHD screen and dual rear cameras. Since Lenovo has already released 2017 Moto G series phones, the Moto G5 and G5 Plus, the Moto gS and Moto gS+ seems to be 2018 models.

The 2017 Moto E series would be consisting of Moto E and Moto E Plus.
The 2017 Moto C lineup would be featuring Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones. The Moto C will be a 4G phone with 5-inch HD screen that supports 480 x 854 pixels. The Moto C Plus would be arriving with a 5-inch HD display and a 4,000mAH battery.

The Moto X used to be Motorola’s flagship device but last year, it was ditched in favor of the Moto Z. The first gen Moto X was released in 2013, and was followed by the Moto X 2nd Gen in 2014 and the Moto X Force in 2015. This year it is coming back not as the Moto X (2017) but as the Moto X4.

The new name was revealed last night on Twitter by Evan Blass. However, that is not the only info released about the upcoming smartphone. A short video was also posted on Baidu by a Chinese user. The video was recorded during a presentation of the Moto X4 and the 9-second long video reveals some interesting features of the phone.

Let's stop calling it "Moto X 2017," eh? pic.twitter.com/dBnUr5n7CU

— Evan Blass (@evleaks) May 13, 2017

The Moto X4 will come with a metal and glass body, 3x Carrier Aggregation, IP68 rating, AI integration, and the famous always-on voice command. What we were also able to catch from the video is the presence of dual rear cameras on the Moto X4 with a dual LED flash sitting at the top. The design of the LED flash is different from the one we saw in leaked press renders last month but the whole setup still shares the same design as the Moto Z.

[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgNaOtx7UcQ[/embedyt]

The glass and metal design looks good but I am sure some of us will miss the Moto Maker customization that was one of the highlights of the earlier generation models.

Alongside the above specs, more specification details of the Moto X4 were also released on Reddit. The phone will come with a 5.5-inch display with 3D glass, Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 660, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. It will also have a 3800mAh battery with quick charge, a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, and laser autofocus.

Very impressive specs, right? We believe Lenovo might be on to something with the Moto X4 judging from the perfect blend of mid-range specs and flagship features on the device. If these specs are true and the price doesn’t exceed $400, then the Moto X4 is likely going to replicate the success of the first gen Moto G.

READ MORE: Lenovo Shuts Down ZUK Mobile, ZUK Edge is Last Mobile Phone

People are already unhappy that the Moto Z2 Play will feature a smaller battery and we all know the Moto Mods didn’t really hit the mark. So instead of the Moto Z2 Play, I expect to see people settling for the Moto X4.

Now, more hands-on photos of the alleged Lenovo phone have surfaced to reveal its front, rear, top and bottom sides along with some specifications.

The leaked photos of Moto X (2017) from the previous month belong to a handset with a model number of XT1801. However, the newer photos probably belong to its other variant with model number XT1805. One of the leaked images shows that the phone features 32 GB of native storage, 4 GB of RAM and MSM8953 CPU which is nothing but Snapdragon 625 chipset.

The Moto X (2017) is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch full HD screen. The new photos suggest the presence of a physical Home button with a fingerprint sensor embedded in it below the display. It seems to sport a LED flash for the front-facing camera. The bottom side of the phone has microUSB port and an external speaker.

The top features a 3.5mm audio jack. The rear side of the alleged Moto X (2017) has a dual camera setup along with a dual LED flash. Below it is Motorola’s batwing logo. There are no pins available at the rear side for connecting Moto Mods accessories. The phone seems to be sporting a metallic chassis and appears to be in Gray in color. The XT1801 variant is also powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC and 32 GB of storage, but it comes with 3 GB of RAM.

According to well-known leakster, Roland Quandt, the Moto X (2017) is codenamed as Sanders. He claims that one of the lenses of dual rear camera on the phone is of 13-megapixel.

The Moto X lineup was launched in 2013 by Motorola with flagship specs. After the acquisition of Motorola by Lenovo, the company did not release a Moto X phone in 2016. Instead, a new Moto Z lineup was introduced. The recent leaks indicate that Moto X is coming back, but this time instead of flagship specs, it is packed with mid-range feature. Since a lot of details of the smartphone has surfaced, it seems that its unveil is close at hand. Lenovo has several smartphones like Moto C, Moto E4 and Moto Z2 under its belt that are speculated to get unveiled in the near future.

Right at the start of the video, it showcases several Motorola phones from its oldest flip phones to the latest Moto G5 smartphone. One of the Motorola phones that shows its glimpse for a split-second is the alleged Moto X (2017).

The alleged blue-colored phone resembles Moto G5, but the appearance of the antenna bands as it will as its front side appears quite similar to the Moto X (2017) images that have appeared recently. However, the rear-facing camera spotted in leaked photos of Moto X (2017) has a dual camera setup, but the phone that has been spotted in the video seems to house a single camera. Also, a rear-facing speaker grille on Moto X (2017) seen in the video is absent on the previously seen leaked images of the phone.

Recent rumors have revealed that the upcoming Moto X (2017) would be coming with a 5.5-inch display and it will be driven by Snapdragon 625 chipset. It is expected to come in RAM versions like 3 GB and 4 GB. The phone is also rumored to be available in storage choices like 32 GB and 64 GB.

Its dual camera snapper is speculated to feature a pair of 13-megapixel sensors. Leaked shots suggest that the selfie camera of the phone is accompanied with a selfie snapper. The rumored Moto X (2017) does not feature pins for connecting Moto Mods accessories. According to popular leakster, Roland Quandt, the phone is codenamed as Sanders and its model number is XT180x.

A mysterious white colored Moto phone has been also spotted in the video. Its back panel seems to sport rear-facing speakers. Speculations have it that it could be “Albus” phone that is speculated to come with specs like Snapdragon 625, 3 GB / 4 GB RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB ROM.

Its key specs have surfaced. As previous rumors have hinted, the upcoming Motorola Moto X (2017) is rumored to be a mid-range phone.

Four leaked images of the alleged Moto X (2017) had appeared In the previous week. The leaked images had shown the smartphone in black color. A new leaked press render of a golden colored variant of the alleged Moto X (2017) has appeared to reveal its front and rear.

The upcoming Lenovo phone seems to feature a LED flash for the selfie camera above the display and it seems to feature a physical Home button with oblong design below the screen. The rear side of the phone has antenna bands on the top and bottom portions.

At the center of the rear panel is a batwing logo from Motorola. Above it is the circular dual camera setup that seems to be coupled with a dual-tone LED flash. The bottom part of the back panel does not feature pins to attach Moto Mods accessories.

The volume rockers and power button are placed on the right side, and topside seems to feature a 3.5mm audio jack. The design of the phone seems quite similar to the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus phones that were announced recently.

According to a well-known tipster, Roland Quandt, the Moto X (2017) is codenamed as Sanders and its model number is XT180x. The smartphone is driven by Snapdragon 625 chipset which is a clear indication that it is not a flagship phone. Between 2013 to 2015, Motorola has released flagship phones under Moto X moniker, but the upcoming Moto X (2017) seems to be a mid-range phone.

Motorola Moto "X 2017" XT180x codename "Sanders": Snapdragon 625, 3/4GB RAM, 32/64GB ROM. 13MP camera (don't know if second cam sensor same)

It is expected to arrive in 3 GB and 4 GB RAM models along with storage options such as 32 GB and 64 GB. As of this writing, there is no information on the battery capacity of the device.

Now, four leaked photos of an alleged Moto X (2017) smartphone with model number XT1801 revealed by known leakster, +HelloMotoHK on Google+ suggest that we may see a new Moto X phone this year. However, the leakster’s post is no longer accessible.

The alleged Moto X (2017) prototype seen in leaked images has a curved metallic chassis and appears like Moto G5. The front side features a 5.5-inch display and below it is an oblong Home button featuring a fingerprint reader like the one found on Moto G5 / Moto G5 Plus smartphones.

There is no information available on its display resolution, but it is likely to come with support for full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The selfie camera seems to be accompanied with a LED flash.

The back panel shows the presence of antennae lines at the top and bottom. The circular camera module present on the purported Moto X (2017) is also similar to the camera housing on Moto G5 phones. However, one of the leaked images suggest that the smartphone features a dual rear camera that is coupled with a dual-tone flash below it.

The distinctive “batwing” logo can be seen below the camera module. The rear does not feature the pins for attaching Moto Mods accessories. As far as specs are concerned, the alleged Moto X (2017) is driven by Snapdragon 625 SoC which reveals that it will be a mid-range phone. The SoC is coupled with 3 GB of RAM and the native storage of the device is 32 GB.

There is no information available on the release date of Moto X (2017). More information on the new Moto X is expected to surface in the near future.

Less than 48 hours to the end of the year and leaks for a phone said to be the Moto X (2017). The leaks which were released by @OnLeaks who is known for his track record of posting accurate leaks, also includes a 360° video of the upcoming phone.

On first look, what you’ll notice is that the Moto X (2017) is not sporting that ugly square fingerprint scanner present on the Moto Z series and Moto G4 Plus. It now has that pill-like design that can be found on Samsung phones. However, this one appears to be shorter and bigger, probably in a bid to compliment the big bezel its sitting on. The Moto X (2017) also brings back the audio jack which is positioned at the bottom of the phone.

The Moto X (2017) does share some design features with the Moto Z such as the rear camera and the position of the front shooter and sensor. Surprisingly, it does not have the connector pins found on the Moto Z, which means the phone won’t be able to make use of Moto Mods. The Moto X (2017) also lacks the thin design (it’s 9.2mm thick, measuring the camera bump) of the Moto Z which is really thin at 5.2mm. We hope the extra thickness is to allow for a larger battery.

[embedyt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgqYpCmMgdM[/embedyt]

@OnLeaks mentions that the Moto X will be bringing back features like the audio jack mentioned above and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The phone will also be ditching the USB Type-C port and will have a micro USB port in its place. There are a no stereo front-facing speakers like last year’s model and no dual cameras too.

Chances are that the Moto X (2017) might be announced at next week’s CES or scheduled for a MWC release instead, which holds in February. There are no details yet about the processor, RAM, ROM and the camera configuration, but if it is going to be a flagship device instead of a watered-down Moto Z that it is shaping up to be, the Snapdragon 821 SoC should be the appropriate chip in it.
