We believe it is the Z2 because that&#8217;s the phone the lady is holding in the poster.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-136285" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Motorola-is-back-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto Z2 Launch" width="680" height="834" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Motorola-is-back-1.jpg 680w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Motorola-is-back-1-245x300.jpg 245w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></p>
<p>Some think its the Moto X4 because it has dual cameras too and the lady does a good job covering the place where the Moto Mod pins are. However, if you zoom in closer, you will see the LED flash is below the sensors. For the Moto X4, the led flash is above its dual sensors and the video below is proof.</p>

<p>The Moto Z2 has been spotted on AnTuTu ahead of its launch and the benchmarking site has revealed some of its features.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-136507" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Moto-Z2-Antutu.png?x10805" alt="Moto Z2 Antutu" width="600" height="950" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Moto-Z2-Antutu.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Moto-Z2-Antutu-189x300.png 189w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The Moto Z2 is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 835. The GPU is the Adreno 540 and the screen resolution is put at 1440 × 2560 (Quad HD).</p>
<p>AnTutu has revealed the camera specifications too. There is a 5MP up in front and one of the rear cameras is a 12MP sensor. RAM remains 4GB like last year&#8217;s model and built-in storage is 64GB.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">READ MORE:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/14/moto-xt1902-2-powered-helio-p20-gets-wifi-certifiation/">Moto XT1902-2 Powered By Helio P20 Gets WiFi Certification</a><span id="more-136506"></span></p>
<p>AnTuTu says the Moto Z2&#8217;s score reaches 170,000, making it on par with that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Xiaomi Mi 6.</p>
<p>The Moto Z2 will launch on June 27 at 19:00.</p>

The Moto Z2 which will take over from last year&#8217;s Moto Z is said to have appeared on GeekBench database posting a stunning result.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/MOTO-Z-geekbench.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-132041" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/MOTO-Z-geekbench.jpg?x10805" alt="moto z2" width="600" height="492" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/MOTO-Z-geekbench.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/MOTO-Z-geekbench-300x246.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The device appears as Motorola XT1650 and in reality, there are lots of benchmark test for the Moto XT1650 listed on Geekbench&#8217;s database uploaded as far back as August last year. Almost all of the test show there is a Quad-core MSM 8996 motherboard, which is the Snapdragon 821 chip. But in a spectacular manner, the details contained in this listing include the MSM 8998 which is Qualcomm&#8217;s latest Snapdragon 835 chip. Secondly, this benchmark result is shown to have been uploaded on January 21, 2017. That again places some doubt over the benchmark result. However, the GeekBench database further shows that the Z2 features 4GB of RAM, Android 7.1 Nougat. The listing also shows the Z2 pulled 1930 points on the single core test and 6207 points on the multi-core test.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Moto-z2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-132042" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Moto-z2.jpg?x10805" alt="moto Z2" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Moto-z2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Moto-z2-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>In addition to this latest benchmark appearance, images of the Moto Z2 had earlier popped up online, showing the design and features the Z2 may likely come with. The render shows the Z2 may likely feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor just as found on the Xiaomi Mi 6. The front view also shows the selfie camera lying at the right side of the earpiece while there is a front flash at the right side. The display also comes with very slim bezels at the sides.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/moto-z2-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-132043" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/moto-z2-2.jpg?x10805" alt="moto z" width="600" height="346" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/moto-z2-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/moto-z2-2-300x173.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/04/06/moto-z-2017-release-approaching-moto-z2-moniker-surface/">Moto Z (2017) Release Approaching as Moto Z2 Moniker Surface</a></strong></p>
<p>The Moto Z2 is also expected with a metal body and some great improvement at the rear camera. The rear camera is a dual setup and it comes with a two-color warm flash. The Z2 is also shown to come with support for wireless charging.</p>

A week ago, we saw leaked images of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/moto-z2-force/">Moto Z2 Force</a>. Quick on its heels is a press render of the Moto Z2 Play obtained by TechnoBuffalo.</p>
<p>On first look, the design doesn&#8217;t look to be different from that of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2016/09/01/moto-z-play-officially-launched-gets-snapdragon-625-3510mah-battery-moto-mods-support/">Moto Z Play </a>released last year. The camera hump is still there and you have the Moto batwing logo and moto mod connector gracing the rest of the back plate. The front looks almost the same too. The position of the front flash, earpiece, light sensor and front camera are exactly as they were on the Moto Z Play. So what then is different?</p>
<figure id="attachment_127950" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-127950" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-127950 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Moto-Z2-Play.jpg?x10805" alt="Moto Z2 Play" width="600" height="685" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Moto-Z2-Play.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Moto-Z2-Play-263x300.jpg 263w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-127950" class="wp-caption-text">Moto Z2 Play</figcaption></figure>
<figure id="attachment_96326" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-96326" style="width: 624px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-96326" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Moto-Z-Play1.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="624" height="429" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Moto-Z-Play1.jpg 624w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Moto-Z-Play1-300x206.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-96326" class="wp-caption-text">Moto Z Play</figcaption></figure>
<p>First, the fingerprint scanner has been changed to a pill-shaped one. Then they swapped the shape of the front LED flash with that of the light sensor. The Moto Z2 Play also appears to be thinner in this press render, however that will be confirmed when the dimensions become known.</p>
<p>The visible changes on the rear include the new antenna line that runs along the entire border; the redesign of the moto mod connector pins; and the new sensor for the camera.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">READ MORE:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/04/20/moto-e4-spotted-geekbench-revealing-specs/">Moto E4 Spotted on GeekBench, Revealing Some of Its Specs</a><span id="more-127949"></span></p>
<p>The Moto Z Play was released as a mid-range device with a Snapdragon 625 SoC and a 3510mAh battery. The combination of the power efficient  SD625 and large battery gave the Moto Z Play an impressive battery life. Motorola will want to stick to that strategy, so the Moto Z2 Play may launch with the Snapdragon 626. The battery might be a bit smaller if the phone ends up being thinner but we expect it not to be significantly smaller. Display size and resolution may remain the same and older moto mods will definitely work with it.</p>
<p>There is no date of release yet but we want to think the date on the clock is a hint. So you might want to mark June 8 on your calendars.</p>
