Last week, Motorola launched the Edge 30 in India featuring a Snapdragon 778G Plus and a 6.79mm slim body. Now, the device has finally gone on sale in India so let’s check out its pricing, offers, and specs.

Motorola Edge 30 Indian pricing, offers

Motorola Edge 30 has a starting price of ₹27,999 for the 6GB + 128GB configuration. The 8GB + 128GB configuration on the other hand has a price tag of ₹29,999. It is available in Aurora Green and Meteor Grey colors and can be purchased from Flipkart in India.

HDFC credit card users will get a flat ₹2,000 off on purchasing the Motorola Edge 30. Other than that, Axis bank card users will get 5% cashback when purchasing the device from Flipkart.

Motorola Edge 30 specs and features

The Edge 30 offers a 6.5-inch pOLED panel with 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) resolution, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The panel also supports HDR10+ content playback.

Under the hood, it comes with a  Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of uMCP storage. It boots Android 12 out of the box.

One of the key features is the slimness of the device at just  6.79mm (excluding the camera bump), making it the slimmest 5G smartphone currently on the market. It weighs only 155 grams and has a 4,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The device features a triple camera setup comprising of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, another 50MP sensor with 118° FOV working as the ultra-wide-angle unit as well as a macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor.

Connectivity options offered on the device include dual-SIM card support, sub-6GHz 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Ready For feature. It omits the 3.5mm headphone jack and the MicroSD card slot.

Motorola Edge 30 was launched a few days back in the European markets with midrange specs. Some of the phone’s highlights include a 144Hz display, 50MP cameras, and 33W fast charging support. The device has now been approved by the Anatel agency in Brazil.

The Anatel certification confirms that the phone carries the model number XT2203-1. and has Wi-FI 6E support with 6GHz frequencies. Apart from this, there’s nothing else to look at. However, since the device has now been approved by Anatel, we expect its Brazilian launch to be near.

Motorola Edge 30 Specifications 

The Motorola Edge 30 in Europe comes with a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It has a 144Hz fast refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The smartphone has a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP main lens having OIS support.

It comes with pixel focus technology where the lens uses 100% pixels for focusing on the subject making the image look sharper. It is accompanied by another 50MP ultra-wide lens with 118-degree FOC. Lastly, there’s a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie snapper.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The phone packs a 4,020mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It has a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio. The phone has an IP52 rating and boots on Android 12 OS out of the box. Unfortunately, it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
