Today, in New York, ZTE, in partnership with T-Mobile, launched the big screen ZMAX phone.

It’s probably because of the phone’s big screen (5.7 inches) that it got its name. Its screen has an HD resolution (1280 x 720) and is covered by Corning Gorilla 3 glass. Both of these add to the phone’s high screen specs.

The ZTE MAX’s processor is the Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset (MSM8926) which supports LTE internet. It also has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Its camera specs are not that great, however. It sports a 1.6mp/8mp dual-camera. It is also powered by a 3400mAh battery and its OS is based on the Android 4.42. It also supports dual-frequency Wi Fi and Dolby Audio.

A T-Mobile-customized phone, the ZTE MAX costs 252 USD (1548 RMB) and can be paid in instalments. It goes on sale on September 24.

On September 3, at the Beijing National Conference Center, Dakele Mobile will launch its first flagship 4G cellphone, the Dakele Spring. It will also be the first 4G phone to use the Cloud OS, more precisely, the Yun 2.9 OS, which places great importance on safety and security.

Even before its launch, a lot of information about the Dakele Spirng has already been released online. The latest news on the phone reveal the Spring’s specs and that the Spring will cost 699 RMB. This phone will sport a 5.5-inch IPS screen with qHD resolution (960 x 540). Its processor is the MSM8926 (1.2GHz) chipset and has 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. It also sports a 2mp/8mp dual-camera. The rear camera uses OV lens. The Dakele Spring supports TD-LTE China Mobile 4G internet, TD-SCDMA, and GSM. One of its selling points is that it supports dual-SIM. Its biggest selling point though is that it will use the Yun 2.9 OS which has, among other features, greater security features.

It also has anti-theft settings and the user can lock the phone from a distance. The new Cloud OS allows the user to personalize their phone more by letting them do things like letting them search their contacts by typing a letter or hid their phone record.

The Dakele Spring has a very simple round design. Many will be interested to know that it sports a 5.5-inch screen with qHD resolution (960 x 540). Its processor is the MSM8926 quad-core chipset. Today, China Mobile launched its second flagship 4G cellphone. It’s called the China Mobile M812, a follow-up of the M811. The M812 sports a completely metallic case and has a height of 8.5mm. It also sports a 5.5-inch 720p display screen, runs on the Qualcomm MSM8926 quad-core processor (1.2GHz), and has 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory space (expandable).

The M812 also sports a 5mp/8mp dual-camera and has a built-in 3100mAh battery. It supports TD-LTE 4G networks.

As for the price, the M812 costs 1299 RMB and will go on sale starting on the morning of September 10.

       The InFocus M512’s outer design is not that different from other phones right now. They also used a black-white panda-like color scheme, a popular design for phones in the 1000 RMB range right now. The M512 has a lively trendy design that should attract many people. The phone’s narrow frame should make it easier for users to carry it in one hand.

       There are a few problems with the design. Although you can take off the rear cover and change the SIM and Memory cards, the battery cannot be replaced. The InFocus M512 is powered by a built-in 2500mAh battery which can last for a day and a half.

       The M512 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon MSM8926 quad-core processor with a main frequency of 1.2GHz. This is the first entry-level quad-core chip to be put in a 4G cellphone and now appears in many 4G phones. Because of this chip, the InFocus M512 scored well in its benchmark tests.

       Overall, the photo quality is great. The M512 captures the realism of the subjects. In addition, white marks can be removed more easily.

       How they retain the strengths of their products is something that many manufacturers of 4G phones in the 1000RMB price range must deal with. Overall, everything is balanced in the InFocus M512. As I toyed around with it for the last several days, I did not notice any problems. This is a one of a kind phone, not to mention its affordable price. Many consumers should be happy with this kind of phone.
