The chip manufacturers from Taiwan, MediaTek, rumored to be launching octa-core processors this year. In a document, octa-core processor MT6592 is going to have speeds up to 2GHz.

According to the road map leaked documents, now comes a benchmark test information related to the existence of such processors. Interestingly, the benchmark tests show that the octa-core processor is beat the Snapdragon 800 processor in terms of performance and power consumption.

Antutu Benchmark test of processors shows a value of 29,600 points. With these points, octa-core processor which has a speed of up to MediaTek 2GHz will give higher points. In addition, the processor is also said to have an efficiency better power consumption than the processor architecture big.LITTLE like Exynos 5.

Mobile with octa-core processor is also likely to be present at the end of 2013 or in early 2014. Regarding the price, the phone was expected to have very-very affordable price for most of user.
