The Snapdragon 750G found on the Xiaomi Mi 10i is slightly more powerful than the Dimensity 800U of the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, but the latter is built with a better 7 nm production process and it should guarantee a lower energy consumption. The memory configurations are the same: 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of native storage which you can furtherly expand through a micro SD slot, but the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G has faster UFS 2.2 storage instead of UFS 2.1. Unfortunately, both the phones run Android 10 out of the box despite they were released in 2021.

Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G is a superior camera phone because it has a better main camera: we are talking about a great 108 MP main sensor which is still a midrange camera despite its resolution, but it is way better than the 48 MP camera found on the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G. It also has an additional 2 MP sensor for depth calculation. These handsets can record videos with a resolution up to 4K and they are equipped with a 16 MP front camera for selfies.

Realme has announced the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and Narzo 30A smartphones in India. Like the Realme X7 5G that was announced earlier this month in February, the Narzo 30 Pro 5G is equipped with Dimensity 800U. Since the Narzo 30 Pro 5G has slightly inferior specs as compared to the X7 5G, it has landed as India’s most affordable 5G smartphone. Apart from announcing Narzo 30A, the company also took off covers from the Realme Buds Air 2 TWS earbuds, gaming accessories, and other lifestyle products.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G specifications and features

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G flaunts a punch-hole display of 6.5 inches. The IPS LCD screen produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the right edge of the device. The Dimensity 800U powered smartphone comes in 6 GB / 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM variants and 64 GB / 128 GB storage editions. Users can expand its storage by adding a microSD card.

The Narzo 30 Pro 5G has a front camera of 16-megapixel. The triple camera setup of the device features a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel superwide lens with 118-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.

The Narzo 30 Pro offers other features Realme UI 2.0 based Android 10 OS, dual SIM support with 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Narzo 30 Pro 5G is a rebranded version of the Realme Q2, which went official in October with a starting price of 1,199 Yuan (~$185; ~Rs 13,400).

The Realme Narzo 30A has a 6.6-inch teardrop notch-enabled IPS LCD screen that delivers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The handset draws power from the Helio G85 chipset and 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM. The phone comes in two storage choices as 32 GB and 64 GB. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. The phone boots to Realme UI 2.0 flavored Android 10 OS.

For snapping selfies, the Narzo 30A has a front camera of 8-megapixel. The square-shaped module placed on the rear shell of the device has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The device is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It carries support for reverse charging. It includes other features like a side-facing fingerprint reader, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Xiaomi – New Earphones and Bluetooth Speaker

Xiaomi will kick off the week with the launch of two new audio products in India. The manufacturer announced earlier this month that it will announce the products on Monday, February 22. From the teasers provided, we have been able to deduce that the two products are a pair of neckband-style earphones and a Bluetooth speaker. The teaser below for the former hints at it having noise cancellation.

Reno5 and Reno5F lands in Africa

The Reno5 series has been making its way across the globe and on February 22, it will land in Africa, Kenya to be specific. OPPO will announce the Reno5 alongside a new model in the series called the Reno5 F.

The Reno5 F will pack an AMOLED display that has a punch hole at the top left corner. It will also have four rear cameras, a MediaTek processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, an audio jack, a 4310mAh battery, and support for 30W fast charging.

Realme – Narzo 30 series and realme Buds Air TWS earbuds

The focus will shift to Realme on Wednesday, the 24th of February when it takes the wrap off its new Narzo 30 Pro and Narzo 30A smartphones. There are rumors the former will be India’s cheapest 5G smartphone and it has already been confirmed that it will have a Dimensity 800U 5G processor and a display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The manufacturer will also announce the second generation realme Buds Air at the event.

Redmi unveils the K40 series and RedmiBook Pro in China

On February 25, Redmi will announce its 2021 flagship phones, the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro in China. The two phones will come with the best-in-class 120Hz AMOLED displays and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor.

A new notebook called the RedmiBook Pro will also tag along, but unlike the Redmi K40 which should get a global release, this will most likely be exclusive to China.

Xiaomi takes the Mi 11 to Singapore

Following the global (read European) unveiling of the Mi 11, Xiaomi will be taking the phone to other markets. Singapore is next on the list and they will be getting the flagship on February 25.

Earlier today, Realme revealed that the Narzo 30 series and Buds Air 2 will be announced on Feb. 24 in India. Well ahead of the launch, leakster Mukul Sharma has leaked the key specs of both handsets.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and Narzo 30A specifications (Rumored)

According to the leak, the Narzo 30A has a 6.5-inch display with a teardrop notch. The Helio G85 chipset, 6,000mAh battery, and 18W charging, which were made available on the Narzo 20, will find their way on the Narzo 30A handset.

The square-shaped camera housing of the phone will feature a 13-megapixel dual-camera system and an LED flash. For selfies, it will have an 8-megapixel camera. A traditional fingerprint scanner will be available on the rear shell of the device. It will come in two colors like Black and Light Blue.

On the other side, the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G will support a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The Dimensity 800U powered handset will come with a 5,000mAh battery that will carry support for 30W rapid charging.

The Narzo 30 Pro 5G’s rectangle-shaped camera module will feature a 48-megapixel triple camera setup. It will come with other features like a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio. Since it is speculated to hit the Indian markets as a rebranded version of China’s Realme Q2, it is expected to come with other features like LPPDR4x RAM, UFS 2.1 storage, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 48-megapixel + -megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system.

The Narzo 30 Pro 5G will be priced lower than the Realme X7 5G, which sells for Rs 19,999 (~$275) in India. There is no word on the pricing of the Narzo 30A.

Realme has recently begun teasing the upcoming Narzo 30 series in India. A recent leak claimed that the new Narzo branded phones may launch on Feb. 24. It appears that the launch date may not be far away as the landing page of the Narzo 30 series has gone live on Flipkart.

The landing page of the Narzo 30 series states that more details will appear on Feb. 18. It remains to be seen whether the company confirms the rumored Feb. 24 launch date later this week. The promo page also has a teaser video that gives a glimpse at one of the Narzo 30 series phones. Recent reports have revealed that the Narzo 30 series has three devices as Narzo 30A, Narzo 30, and Narzo 30 Pro 5G.

A leaked poster that appeared yesterday revealed the key details of the Narzo 30A and Narzo 30 Pro 5G. The poster did not shed any information on the specs of the Narzo 30A. It only revealed that the handset will be sporting a wavy textured back panel with a squarish camera module and a fingerprint reader.

The leak also revealed that the Narzo 30 Pro 5G is equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate supporting display and Dimensity 800U 5G chipset. It is speculated that the Narzo 30 Pro 5G could be a rebadged version of the Realme Q2 which went official in China last year. The same phone is available in the U.K as the Realme 7 5G.

The image of the Narzo 30 Pro 5G shows that it has a punch-hole display, a rectangle-shaped camera module on its back, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It seems that the handset with rectangle camera housing shown in the teaser video could be the Narzo 30 Pro 5G.

Realme’s Narzo series made its debut last year, and barely a year later, we are about to get the third-gen series in form of the Narzo 30 series. A leaked poster has now surfaced on the internet that reveals Realme will only announce two new phones and not three as in the case of the Narzo 20 series.

As seen in the image below which was posted on Twitter by the user that goes by Shubham (Shubham87873762), realme will announce the Narzo 30 Pro 5G and the Narzo 30A. There is no mention of a standard Narzo 30. We want to believe that realme will announce the Narzo 30 at a later date.

The poster shows the Narzo 30 Pro will have a display with a punch hole for the front-facing camera at the top left corner of the screen. We are not sure if this is the type of display the Narzo 30A will also have. However, we can see both models will have a different design on the back.

The Narzo 30A is shown to have a square camera module that houses what appears to be three cameras and an LED flash. The phone has a wavy finish that appears to be textured which should provide some grip when held. The phone will be available in pale blue.

The Narzo 30 Pro, on the other hand, has a rectangular camera module with three visible cameras, though there may be four sensors, considering the Narzo 20 Pro has four cameras. There is no fingerprint scanner on the back but an indentation on the right side hints at the fingerprint scanner being side-mounted. The image also reveals some key specs of the Narzo 30 Pro such as a Dimensity 800U processor and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will come in silver and a dark shade of blue.

Realme is expected to take the wraps off the new phones on February 24 in India.

A new Realme phone with model number RMX3161 was approved by China’s TENAA telecom authority. The other specifications of the device are under wraps.

Rumors are rife that that like the predecessor Narzo 20 series, the successor edition will include three handsets such as Narzo 30A, Narzo 30, and Narzo 30 Pro. A new Realme smartphone with an RMX3161 model number was certified by the TENAA authority of China.

Since the Realme Narzo 20 Pro had an RMX2161 model number, it is speculated that the RMX3161 could be the upcoming Narzo 30 Pro handset. A recent report revealed that the upcoming Realme Narzo 30A smartphone has a model number of RMX3171.

Coming back to the TENAA appearance of the Realme RMX3161, the listing revealed that it is a 5G-ready smartphone. It measures 162.4 x 74.8 x 8.8mm. The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch display and it houses a 4,880mAh battery. The phone boots to Android 11 OS. The TENAA images of the phone revealed that it has a punch-hole display and a rectangle-shaped camera module with four cameras inside.

Fresh information reveals that Realme may soon launch the Narzo 30 series of smartphones in some of the Asian markets like Thailand and India. The reason behind this is that the Realme Narzo 30A phone appeared today in the database of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification platform of Thailand.

The RMX3171 was spotted last month at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) authority of India. However, the listing did not reveal the name of the device. The NBTC filing has confirmed that the RMX3171 phone will break cover as the Narzo 30A smartphone.

In the recent past, the RMX3171 has been also spotted at Indonesian Sertifikasi and TKDN authorities. Unfortunately, none of these listings have revealed the specifications of the Realme Narzo 30A smartphone.

It was speculated in December that the Narzo 30 series of smartphones will go official in January. However, with only a few days remaining this month, the Chinese manufacturer could be planning to launch the Narzo 30A lineup in February. With the Realme X7 series launching on Feb. 4 in India, it is likely that the Narzo 30 series may break cover later in February or March.

The Narzo 30 family is expected to include three models such as Realme Narzo 30A, Narzo 30, and Narzo 30 Pro. These devices are expected to succeed last year’s Narzo 20A, Narzo 20, and Narzo 20 Pro models.

In related news, Realme will be launching Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro as its first 5G-ready mid-range phones in India in the coming week. The tipster claimed that the Narzo 30 series may include a third handset. Hence, there is a possibility that the Narzo 30A may also arrive with Narzo 30 and Narzo 30 Pro. The tipster did not share any information on the specifications of the Narzo 30 series.

A mysterious Realme phone with model number RMX3171 has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The BIS certification has no information on the specs of the device, but it mentions that it belongs to a new series. There are a few other Realme phones that have been spotted recently. Last month, the BIS and EEC authorities approved two mysterious Realme phones with RMX3063 and RMX3061 model numbers. The FCC listing of the RMX3063 phone revealed a few of its specs such as a 5,000mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

Earlier today, the Realme RMX3092 appeared at the 3C certification platform with a 65W rapid charger. The RMX3092 and another RMX3093 phone have appeared in TENAA’s database, but their specs and images have not appeared yet. Probably, they belong to the upcoming Realme X60 5G series for China.
