Realme is launching a new Nitro Orange color variant of the Narzo 80 Pro 5G in India to mark its 7th anniversary. The new model will go on sale from May 1 via Amazon. It features an orange and black rear panel with a circular camera module housing two sensors and an LED flash, similar to the earlier versions. The specifications remain unchanged.

The Narzo 80 Pro 5G has a 6.77-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 4500 nits peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor with up to 12GB RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and supports up to 14GB dynamic RAM. It uses Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.

The phone has a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS and a 2MP monochrome sensor at the back. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. It is powered by a 6000mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging.

Other features include IP69 rating, Cyclone VC Cooling system, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, dual speakers, dual microphones with noise cancellation, Hi-Res audio, USB Type-C port, dual Nano SIM slots, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a Hyperglow Esports display. It also supports Bypass charging, GT Boost, Next AI features, 90FPS gameplay for BGMI, and wet hand touch control. The phone is 7.55mm thick and weighs 179g.

The Realme Narzo 80x has also made its debut alongside its more expensive sibling. This model is available in two color variants as well, which includes Sunlit Gold and Deep Ocean. You can buy this budget phone in two storage configurations, so let’s check it out:

Realme just announced the Narzo 80 Pro in a Racing Green and a Speed Silver color option. It has a starting price tag of 19,999 INR for the 8GB + 128GB option, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants cost 21,499 and 23,499 INR respectively. Realme will launch the Narzo 80 Pro 5G and Narzo 80x 5G smartphones in India on April 9, 2025. The launch event will be live-streamed on Amazon at 12 PM IST. An Early Bird Sale for the Narzo 80 Pro 5G is scheduled the same day from 6 PM to midnight on Amazon and realme.com. A Limited Period Sale for both models will follow on April 11, from 6 PM to midnight on the same platforms.

The Narzo 80 Pro 5G is priced under ₹20,000, and the Narzo 80x 5G will be available for under ₹13,000. A student benefit has been announced for the Narzo 80 Pro 5G, offering one-year screen damage protection worth ₹1,299 at no additional cost. This is valid for purchases made between April 9 and April 18, 2025. Student verification must be completed by April 28, and the benefit will be issued on May 8.

For purchases on realme.com, buyers need to activate the phone during the offer window and complete student ID verification through the Student Discount Program. A benefit coupon will be added to their account upon successful verification.

For Amazon purchases, buyers must activate the device during the offer period, join the Student Discount Program, and contact realme Customer Service with their User ID and IMEI number. A short survey may also be required.

Realme claims that the Narzo 80 Pro is the “Top Gaming Performer Under 20K”, which hints at its sub-20,000 INR price tag. But based on previous teasers, the Narzo 80 Pro will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. It also sports a bright 4,500nits of peak brightness, a large 6050mm² VC cooling system, and a massive 6,000mAh battery pack with 80W wired fast charging.

Despite these beefy specs, the Realme Narzo 80 Pro features a slim 7.5mm body and 179 grams weight. On the other hand, the teaser also confirmed the Realme Narzo 80x will be priced under 13,000 INR on launch. Realme’s new budget phone packs a large 6,000mAh cell as well as 45W wired fast charging. It is equipped with the Dimensity 6400 chipset. This model features a military grade shock resistance, an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

In early March 2025, a leak confirmed the color variants and storage configurations of the Narzo 80x model. This model carries the RMX3944 model number and will reportedly arrive in three storage options, namely 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 12GB + 256GB. This model would also be available in two color options, including Sunlit Gold and Deep Ocean.

However, one of the biggest features that was revealed was the chipset. The Realme Narzo 80 Pro will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. So the upcoming Narzo model could be one of the first to feature this processor.

But it is worth noting that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion just had its India launch date confirmed for April 2. So the Narzo 80 Pro might not be the first smartphone that packs the Dimensity 7400. Realme’s teaser also revealed the AnTuTu score of over 780,000 thanks to the new chipset. For those unaware, the Dimensity 7400 offers 4x Cortex A78 cores at 2.60GHz, 4x Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz and a Mali-G615 MP2 GPU, which Realme promises will offer consistent gaming performance with no frame drops.
