<p>A Weibo account which goes by the name &#8220;WHYLAB&#8221; has <a href="https://weibo.com/2430711645/KfBZsEKMd">also shared</a> some more camera samples of the upcoming Nubia Z30 Pro smartphone. However, unlike the official samples, these images showcase the indoor lighting conditions.</p>

<p>The phone is expected to have three <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/64mp">64-megapixel camera sensors</a> along with a periscope lens on the back. This is the same camera configuration as the Axon 30 Ultra. The front-facing camera setup is not yet known but it has been revealed that the phone has a center punch-hole cutout on the display to house the front camera.</p>
<p>As per the reports, the smartphone will come with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oled">OLED display</a> panel and offer an ultra-high refresh rate. We expect it to be a 144Hz refresh rate, similar to the one found in the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-axon-30-ultra-5g/">ZTE Axon 30 Ultra</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-389979 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Nubia-Z30-Pro.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia Z30 Pro" width="690" height="230" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Nubia-Z30-Pro.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Nubia-Z30-Pro-300x100.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>Underneath, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888">Snapdragon 888</a> chipset which was confirmed by the company months ago. While the battery capacity is not yet revealed, it is revealed that the phone will have support for 120W fast charging.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s pretty clear that the smartphone offers top-of-the-line specifications for a premium experience. What remains to be seen is how much money the users will have to shell out from their pocket for this premium experience. We will get to know this in the coming days when the smartphone goes official.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-377570 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro" width="1200" height="749" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6-300x187.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6-768x479.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6-1024x639.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6-696x434.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6-1068x667.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/nubia-red-magic-6-673x420.jpg 673w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p>Recently, Lu Weibing, President of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Xiaomi</a> Group, announced that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k40-game-enhanced/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition</a> was the thinnest ever gaming smartphone. This devices measures just 8.3mm in thickness, but Ni Fei, Co Founder of Nubia, believes that this is not the thinnest gaming smartphone. At the moment, the Chinese brand does not offer any thin and light gaming smartphone. In other words, the senior official might be hinting at an upcoming gaming phone that will be thinner than 8.3mm.</p>
<p>This statement could also imply that the company is working on making thinner and lighter smartphones that are similar to the latest entry of the Redmi K40 series. Furthermore, rumors have recently surfaced that the smartphone maker is working on a new variant within its latest <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/16/nubia-launch-red-magic-6-red-magic-6-pro-globally-april-9/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Red Magic 6</a> series of gaming handsets. This device is expected to feature <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 888</a> SoC along with a large 4,200mAh battery pack, as per a <a href="https://news.mydrivers.com/1/753/753867.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>MyDrivers</em> </a>report.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-386805 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/s_816be1d345924686a4d4cbcf6de5a808.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia" width="450" height="599" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/s_816be1d345924686a4d4cbcf6de5a808.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/s_816be1d345924686a4d4cbcf6de5a808-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/s_816be1d345924686a4d4cbcf6de5a808-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px" /></p>
<p>Meaning, this new variant might be a thin and light gaming smartphone from Nubia. Unfortunately, finer details regarding this device are currently unknown but it is reumored to launch soon. So stay tuned for more updates as additional reports or leaks would likely surface sometime in the near future.</p>

If you have been waiting for a successor, Ni Fei, the president of mobile devices at <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/ZTE">ZTE</a>, has confirmed that a new model is on the way.</p>
<p>The top executive took to Weibo to reveal that the next generation Nubia Z series will be coming soon. The Weibo post also included a poll that asked fans what upgrades they expect. From the options, it is safe to assume the poll is a teaser for the upgrades the new phone will bring.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-386461" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Nubia-Z-series-2021.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia Z series 2021" width="576" height="428" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Nubia-Z-series-2021.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Nubia-Z-series-2021-300x223.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Nubia-Z-series-2021-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Nubia-Z-series-2021-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Nubia-Z-series-2021-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Nubia-Z-series-2021-565x420.jpg 565w" sizes="(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px" /></p>
<p>A lot has happened since the release of the Nubia Z20 and the smartphone space is now even more competitive. However, knowing Nubia, we can be sure the New Nubia Z series smartphone will have its own unique features that will give it an edge over the competition.</p>
<p>At the moment, we do not know what the new phone will be called. Will it be called Nubia Z21 so that it syncs with the year 2021 or will it be called Nubia Z30? Let us know what you think in the comment box below.</p>
<p>Also, we have no information about the number of phones that will be announced. While there was only one Nubia Z20 phone, its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-z18/">Nubia Z18</a> had a mid-range model that launched as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-z18-mini/">Nubia Z18 Mini</a> and it was even announced before the flagship arrived months later.</p>
<p>Another important question is if the new Nubia Z series phone will have a dual-screen design like the Nubia Z20? With key Chinese manufacturers set to announce a foldable smartphone this year, maybe Nubia will surprise us too. If it does launch a foldable with an inward folding design, it can still be called a dual-screen phone, right?</p>

<p>Ahead of the launch of the smartphone, ZTE&#8217;s Business Unit President and President of the Nubia Technology, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ni-fei">Ni Fei</a>, has confirmed that the next-generation under-display camera technology will be unveiled at MWC Shanghai.</p>

<p>Ni Fei has now <a href="https://m.weibo.cn/status/4607433962691642">shared a teaser image</a> on his personal Weibo account which gives us a hint at the improved technology. It appears that the in-display camera has less visible issues with the panel and offers improved image quality.</p>
<p>This new technology for the in-display camera sensor is expected to be the first to utilize the under-screen 3D structured light. Given that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/zte-axon-30-pro">Axon 30 Pro</a>, which will feature this new tech, is said to be a flagship smartphone powered by Qualcomm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888">Snapdragon 888 SoC</a>, the image quality should have improved drastically to consider it a flagship-worthy.</p>
<p>The ZTE Axon 20 was the first smartphone to feature an under-display camera sensor, which was developed by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/visionox">Visionox</a>. For the newer version also, we expect ZTE to continue working with Visionox. We will be getting more information about this in a few hours, when ZTE <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/19/zte-2nd-gen-under-screen-camera-tech-mwc-shanghai/">takes stage at MWC Shanghai</a>.</p>

Now, the Chinese company is gearing up to launch its successor.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ni-fei">Ni Fei</a>, President of ZTE&#8217;s Terminal Business Unit and President of Nubia Technologies, has now officially confirmed through a Weibo post that the company&#8217;s new smartphone with an under-display camera will soon get launched.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-365825 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/ZTE-In-Display-Camera-Phone-Tease.png?x96852" alt="Ni Fei Teasing 2nd Gen In-Display Camera Smartphone" width="592" height="249" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/ZTE-In-Display-Camera-Phone-Tease.png 592w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/ZTE-In-Display-Camera-Phone-Tease-300x126.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px" /></p>
<p>It&#8217;s noteworthy that ZTE will be launching a second-generation smartphone model with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/in-display-camera">in-display camera sensor</a> while most companies are still in the Research &amp; Development stage and have been trying to launch an in-display camera smartphone for at least a couple of years, including the likes of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a>, Xiaomi, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">OPPO</a>.</p>
<p>Although Ni Fei has revealed that the upcoming device will soon get launched, he has not revealed what the phone is called. However, reports indicate that the product in question could be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/zte-axon-30">Axon 30</a> smartphone.</p>

Earlier this month, the company launched an upgraded version of the same, dubbed as Axon 20 Extreme Edition.</p>
<p>Now, the Chinese company is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphone &#8212; ZTE Axon 30. Today, the brand has <a href="https://weibo.com/2063264115/Jwqgs2DAv">shared a video on Weibo</a> in which Ni Fei, General Manager of ZTE&#8217;s Terminal Business Unit, reveals that the Axon 30 will come equipped with the industry&#8217;s most powerful and pioneering imaging functions.</p>
<figure id="attachment_357199" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-357199" style="width: 690px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-357199 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/ZTE-Axon-20.jpg?x96852" alt="ZTE Axon 20" width="690" height="460" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/ZTE-Axon-20.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/ZTE-Axon-20-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/ZTE-Axon-20-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-357199" class="wp-caption-text">ZTE Axon 20</figcaption></figure>

<p>To see how much the claim of the company&#8217;s executive for the upcoming flagship smartphone holds up, we will have to first see the device. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ni-fei">Ni Fei</a> has not yet revealed anything about the phone&#8217;s launch but given that he has teased the device, the launch is likely to happen in the coming weeks or months.</p>
<p>So far, nothing is known about this Axon 30 <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/flagship-smartphone">flagship smartphone</a> but if the Axon 20 is anything to go by, then we are expecting some impressive features and technology from the company. Axon 20 isn&#8217;t a flagship-grade device and more of a mid-range offering but still features an under-display camera technology.</p>
<p>As for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/30/zte-outlines-plans-for-2021-will-unite-its-zte-nubia-and-red-magic-brands/">company&#8217;s future plans</a>, ZTE has already outlined what its roadmap includes for the next year. At a time when most companies are splitting their brands, ZTE has revealed that it will be bringing all three of its smartphone brands &#8212; ZTE, Nubia, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/red-magic">Red Magic</a> under one umbrella. It is also significantly expanding its offline presence in China and has planned to construct over 5,000 retail stores in the country.</p>

<h5><strong>Unification of brands</strong></h5>
<p>While other Chinese brands are spinning off their sub-brands into standalone businesses, ZTE is bringing its own back under a single umbrella. Xu Ziyang, the president of ZTE Corporation revealed at the event that it will unify its three mobile brands next year. These three brands are ZTE, <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/nubia">Nubia</a>, and Red Devil/<a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/red-magic">Red Magic</a>).</p>
<p>The ZTE brand is known for smartphones launched under the Blade and Axon series while Nubia launches phones under its own name such as the Nubia Z series. The Red Magic brand is the manufacturer&#8217;s gaming phone brand with phones such as the Red Magic 5G and Red Magic 5S.</p>
<p>With the announcement that it plans to unify all three brands, we may see future Nubia and Red Magic phones launch under the ZTE umbrella with ZTE&#8217;s logo/name inscribed on the phones.</p>
<h5><strong>Offline retail expansion</strong></h5>
<p>ZTE&#8217;s president also announced that they plan to expand their offline retail presence by constructing up to 5000 retail stores across China. ZTE says they will also complete the first batch of their ZTE 5G experience centers next year.</p>

The announcement was made on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging website, on the official account of Nubia&#8217;s President and Co Founder, Ni Fei.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-316001 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/20200410_151700_450.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia" width="690" height="690" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/20200410_151700_450.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/20200410_151700_450-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/20200410_151700_450-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/20200410_151700_450-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>In the Weibo post, Ni Fei shared an image poster. This picture showcased Nubia&#8217;s current brand logo, which was being peeled off. This offers just a slight view of the upcoming new brand logo underneath, like a sticker being removed. The brand logo we see today is etched in white on a red background, while the yet to be announced one features the inverse, with red branding on a white background.</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/10/miui-exec-miui-12-will-bring-uniformed-fonts-and-ui-elements-common-loading-screens-for-system-apps-more/">MIUI 12 will bring Uniformed Fonts and UI Elements, Common Loading Screens for System Apps &amp; more</a></strong></h6>
<p>Unfortunately, the image shared doesn&#8217;t reveal even a single letter of the new logo. So, it is unclear if the change will be drastic, or whether the company would go for a more sober look; something that brands tend to lean on after a certain period of time. What we do know so far is that the new branding will be unveiled on 13th April 2020, which is on a Monday next week. So stay tuned for more.</p>

<p>Currently, there are plenty of smartphones that are slated to receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SoC. However, many are skeptical about the battery life of a 5G smartphone which also features a display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Thus, Ni Fei took to the social media platform to put such worries to rest by stating that the upcoming Red Magic 5G smartphone will have an excellent battery performance.</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/04/samsung-to-temporarily-close-flagship-experience-store-in-shanghai-amid-coronavirus-outbreak/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Samsung to temporarily close flagship experience store in Shanghai amid Coronavirus outbreak</a></strong></h6>
<p>From what we know so far, the Nubia Red Magic 5G smartphone will feature a 144Hz display and will arrive with the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Unfortunately, other finer details of the device are yet to be revealed, but previously the President had also suggested that the smartphone could possibly <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/31/nubia-executive-teases-upcoming-5g-smartphone-with-80w-fast-charging/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">feature 80W fast charging capabilities</a>. Although, further down the Weibo post, Ni Fei shared three different battery and charging rates configurations: 100W + 4000mAh, 55W + 4500mAh, 30W + 5000mAh.</p>
<figure id="attachment_303220" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-303220" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-303220 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Sfc5a0d50-2706-4809-bac6-906ac6a462e4.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia" width="600" height="799" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Sfc5a0d50-2706-4809-bac6-906ac6a462e4.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Sfc5a0d50-2706-4809-bac6-906ac6a462e4-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Sfc5a0d50-2706-4809-bac6-906ac6a462e4-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-303220" class="wp-caption-text">Nubia&#8217;s President had previously revealed specifications that imply of a smartphone with upwards of 80W fast charging</figcaption></figure>
<p>The 55W + 4500mAh configuration seems the most likely, as it one is within the range of the previous reveal from the President and a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/03/more-nubia-red-magic-5g-phones-specs-leaks-has-a-64mp-camera/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">recent leak which also stated that a 55W fast charging can be expected</a>. Unfortunately, we can not offer any concrete statements and these are just educated guesses for now. So stay tuned for more updates regarding the upcoming Red Magic 5G smartphone.</p>

The wearable device looks more like a concept device with its foldable display and smartphone features crammed into a smartwatch design. However, the phone isn&#8217;t just a concept but will actually <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/04/01/nubia-alpha-set-to-debut-on-april-8-in-china/">meet with us on April 8 when it will be launched</a> in China. Ahead of the launch, Nubia&#8217;s co-founder and G, Ni Fei has released a camera sample which he says was shot using the minuscule Nubia Alpha&#8217;s camera. <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-245249" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha.png?x96852" alt="Nubia Alpha" width="598" height="297" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha.png 598w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha-300x149.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha-324x160.png 324w" sizes="(max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px" /></p>
<p>For the avoidance of doubt, the device comes with a 5MP camera for photos and video shooting. For a small sensor, the sample is pretty impressive with high clarity and attention to details. We don&#8217;t know much about the camera details like if there is autofocus, PDAF or the aperture size, among others. Ni Fei did share the EXIF data of the photo though, to convince us that it was indeed shot by the tiny wearable. The data shows the camera uses a resolution of 1080&#215;1920 pixels (FullHD).<img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-245248" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha-2.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia Alpha" width="690" height="552" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha-2.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha-2-300x240.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/nubia-alpha-2-525x420.jpg 525w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>As a reminder, the Nubia Alpha features a 4-inch flexible OLED display but appears a lot bigger because of its ultra-wide aspect ratio. The display offers 960 x 192 pixels screen resolution and an aspect ratio that looks to be in the region of 5:1 or 49:9. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.</p>

<p>It also comes with fitness-related features such as sleep-tracking and health-assistant apps. The Nubia Alpha is fuelled by a 500mAh battery which promises a day or two of endurance, comparable to smartphones. It comes in two models, one with an eSIM while the other has only Bluetooth connectivity. Both models will be available in Black and Gold colours.</p>

<p>A pressure sensitive display allows you to perform functions akin to right-clicking on a PC. By applying the right amount of pressure on an app&#8217;s icon, additional functions are displayed. As you can see from the screenshots, pushing down on the calendar app, will show you the weather for the day, and an option to add new event without you having to open the app. Another example shown is when you long press the clock icon and you get presented with a sub-menu that includes a timer or stopwatch.</p>
[envira-gallery id=&#8221;132574&#8243;]
<p>Basically, the pressure sensitive display saves you additional taps by providing you access to functions you wouldn&#8217;t usually have access to if you don&#8217;t launch the app. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-5s/">Xiaomi Mi 5s</a> (128GB version only) launched with a pressure sensitive display but for reasons best known to Xiaomi, the Mi 6 doesn&#8217;t come with one.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-132577" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Nubia-UI-v5.0.png?x96852" alt="Nubia UI 5.0" width="457" height="625" /></p>
<p>The last example of the pressure sensitive display is for the settings app which lets you jump straight to the update page. This is where we see the second teaser. The Nubia Z17 in the video is running Nubia UI 5.0.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">READ MORE: </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/05/11/super-rugged-zte-smartphone-spotted-tenaa/">Super Rugged ZTE Smartphone Spotted on TENAA</a><span id="more-132558"></span></p>
<p>This is Nubia&#8217;s latest version of its user interface which will debut on the Z17. The recently released Nubia Z17 Mini launched with Nubia UI 4.0. We expect the company to officially announce the UI during the launch of the Z17 and also reveal update details for its other devices.</p>

Unlike other sub-brands, Nubia kind of stands apart from its parent company, sporting a unique design language you won&#8217;t find on any other phone made by ZTE. The phone manufacturer announced a new phone, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/02/27/nubia-n1-lite-5-5-inch-display-goes-official-mwc-2017/">Nubia N1 Lite</a> at this year&#8217;s edition of MWC. Just barely two weeks after, they have teased a new device with dual cameras set to launch on March 21.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The teaser image was posted on the official Nubia Weibo page and has two spiral circles depicting the dual lens of the phone. There is also a catch phrase beneath it that translates to “See More”.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-121911" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia Dual Camera Smartphone" width="690" height="1227" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /> <img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-121910" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-2.jpg?x96852" alt="Nubia Dual Camera Smartphone 2" width="692" height="473" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-2.jpg 692w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-2-300x205.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Some sources say the upcoming device was actually present at MWC 2017. The phone was said to be spotted in the hands of Ni Fei who is the CEO of Nubia, during an interview with China&#8217;s state television, CCTV.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">If you look at the images below, you can see the phone is wrapped up in a case. It does have dual cameras positioned at the top left with the signature red coating around both sensors. There is also a pill shaped LED flash beside the camera setup.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/nubia-dual-camera-smartphone-3/'><img width="610" height="458" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-3.jpg?x96852" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-3.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-3-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-3-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/nubia-dual-camera-smartphone-4/'><img width="405" height="223" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-4.jpg?x96852" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-4.jpg 405w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nubia-Dual-Camera-Smartphone-4-300x165.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 405px) 100vw, 405px" /></a>

<p style="text-align: justify">Since there is no cut-out for a fingerprint scanner, the phone is expected to have one in front or on the side like the Nubia Z9. There is no news of how Nubia plans to incorporate its dual cameras, so we can&#8217;t say if it will work like that of the iPhone 7 Plus or like that of the Huawei P9.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">The phone is rumored to come with a large memory and a powerful processor (maybe a Snapdragon 653 or a Helio X20/X25). The price is said to be about ¥1500 ($217).</p>
