Xiaomi‘s ecological chain partner Segway Ninebot has unveiled the C2 Lite electric scooter for children. The Ninebot C2 Lite is an e-scooter that is easy for kids within the specified age bracket to operate.

Features

The C2 Lite is a lightweight electric scooter weighing about 7.8kg with a dimension of 856 x 400 x 950 mm. Its display offers IPX4 waterproof protection. The e-scooter has a maximum range of 14km and supports weights of up to 50kg. It is suitable for children aged between 6 and 10 years with a recommended height range of 115 – 145 cm. The scooter is equipped with a 120W electric motor that delivers a top speed of 16km/h.

The Ninebot C2 Lite e-scooter when utilized at full speed, achieves a range of about 9km on a full charge. It has a mechanical brake and comes with 7-inch Inner Hollow Tires that are advertised as maintenance-free. The scooter is also equipped with RGB breathing lights, an LED screen, and three riding modes (Standard, Sport, and Power-assisting). The battery of the e-scooter can be fully recharged in about 1.17 hours (70 minutes).

Pricing & Availability

The kids scooter is available in several color options including blue and gold with a touch of black. It is currently available from retail platforms in China including JD.com at a starting price of 899 yuan ($124). The Ninebot C2 Lite is expected to be subsequently available in other markets, as with previous iterations of its e-scooters.
