The Ninebot Electric Far Traveler F90M e-scooter has been officially announced in China. The Ninebot F90M is equipped with the L50 controller and it has the RideyLONG battery with a long-haul capacity. The F90M is equipped with Ninebot’s self-developed high-performance brushless motor and a battery that delivers a cruising range of 90km. The F90M sets a new national standard and owners will have to obtain a license in order to use the two-wheeler.

The Ninebot Electric Far Traveler F90M features an emergency riding mode. When the car fails to ride normally, it gives priority to ensure that the normal operation of the basic riding functions. It temporarily shuts down other background programs to limit power usage. The vehicle features dual front and rear disc brakes as well as a five-level adjustable rear shock system. The rear shock absorption system is automatically adjustable according to different conditions. It can automatically adjust the shock absorption to suit the weight and riding scenario.

The Ninebot F90M features several intelligent functions for a comfortable riding experience. These include sensor unlocking 2.0, parking sensor 2.0, and its companion mobile app helps to notify the user of any abnormalities. The Ninebot travel app can be used to check the location of the vehicle. The connectivity options on the F90M include support for Beidou, GPS, and base stations.

The Smart Service Package for the electric vehicle is also available with a free trial for the first year. The subsequent annual subscription will cost 66 yuan (~$10). The Smart Service Package supports the positioning of the vehicle’s location, recording and sharing of riding tracks, anti-theft, SOS emergency call, app remote switch and a lost mode. Other functions supported by the subscription package are shared key, WeChat applet control of the car, and Siri/ Apple Watch/ widget functionalities.

The Ninebot Electric F90M can be purchased from retail platforms in China like JD.com and is priced at 4,999 yuan (~$725). There are no indications of plans to extend the F90M and its subscription package to other markets.
