Noise has added Artificial Intelligence (AI) to its Luna Ring, making it the first smart ring globally to incorporate such technology. This update improves the ring’s capability to act as a personal health monitor.

The new AI onboard is called the Luna AI, and it processes data from over 70 bio-markers every day, allowing the ring to deliver precise and tailored health insights. These features are currently in beta and will be available to all users in the next few weeks.

The main features of the AI-enabled Luna Ring include:

Ask Anything: Users can interact with the Luna AI to get immediate answers about their health stats like Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
Body Insights: The ring analyzes the body’s signals to provide deeper health insights and personalized recommendations.
Personal Coach and Nutritionist: Based on the user’s health data and goals, the Luna AI offers customized fitness routines and nutrition advice.

The Luna ring was initially launched in the Indian market for Rs 19,999 and is also available in the global market. It features a jet-grade titanium build and water-resistant up to 50 meters. The smart ring is available in several colors including Stardust Silver and Sunlit Gold.

Noise Luna Ring, a health-focused wearable revealed last year in the Indian market, has launched a global crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. The Indiegogo campaign offers a Super Early Bird pledge of $229, a significant 23% discount off the retail price of $299.

Noise promises worldwide shipping with an estimated delivery date of May 2024. There’s no word yet on whether the Luna Ring will be available for general purchase outside of India after the campaign concludes. The ring comes in Midnight Black, Sunlit Gold, Lunar Black, Stardust Silver, and Rose Gold colors.

Despite being slightly heavier than some competitors at 3.2 grams, the Luna Ring packs a punch. It boasts heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, and skin temperature measurement.

According to Noise, the smart ring offers 70+ metrics and goes beyond basic tracking metrics. Users can better understand their sleep patterns with features like sleep score (ranging from 0-100), sleep stage tracking (including deep sleep, REM sleep, light sleep, and awake time), and nighttime movement monitoring. Additionally, the ring analyzes blood oxygen levels during sleep to identify potential breathing disturbances.

For activity tracking, the Luna Ring offers an activity score that considers calorie goals, training frequency, and volume. Automatic activity detection eliminates the need to manually log workouts, while day-time movement categorization helps users identify areas for improvement.

The Luna Ring takes a comprehensive approach to health by considering not just activity but also recovery. The ‘Readiness Score’ provides a daily assessment of how prepared your body is for the day ahead, factoring in sleep, activity levels, and recovery. Sleep and activity balance features offer further insights, helping users maintain optimal training and rest cycles.

The accompanying app analyzes user data to generate metrics like Energy Index, Readiness Score, and Stress Level. Additionally, the app offers suggestions for optimizing health and seamlessly integrates with popular platforms like Google Fit and Apple Health.

The Luna Ring is built for everyday wear. Constructed from durable titanium with a non-allergenic, non-metallic PVD coating and sporting a water resistance rating of 150 feet, it can withstand workouts, splashes, and even a dip in the pool. Coming to the battery life, Noise claims up to five days on a single charge.
