The Noise ColorFit Macro has been announced for a starting price tag of 1,499 INR (roughly 18 US Dollars). Buyers that pre-order this device will also get an additional 100 INR off on their purchase. The pre-order is currently live on Amazon India and is available for every variant of this device. To recall, this includes the silicon strap variants (Mist Gray, Jet Black, and Space Blue), the leather strap options (Classic Black and Classic Brown), and the metallic strap version (Black Link and Silver Link).

The silicone strap have a 1,499 INR price tag, while the leather and metal options go for 1,599 INR and 1,699 INR respectively. To recall, the Noise ColorFit Macro features a 2-inch HD TFT LCD panel that features a 2.5D curved glass on top. It offers over 200 watch faces and more than 115 sports modes as well. The wearable offers Bluetooth Calling and has a built-in microphone and speaker.

The device comes with support for various sensors for heart rate tracking, blood oxygen mapping, stress levels tracking, sleep monitoring, and it can even track female menstrual cycles as well. ANother notable feature includes IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

Smart wearables manufacturer Noise has announced that it produced 1 million units of its smartwatches last month. This follows the move earlier this year by the brand to shift manufacturing capacity to India. The brand stated earlier this year that 90% of its smartwatches will be manufactured in India.

The new Noise milestone is further evidence of the impact the Make In India program has had on the Indian manufacturing sector. The government continues to deliver incentives both at the central and regional levels. With one million Noise smartwatches manufactured locally in India last month, the brand hope to continue on an upward trajectory. The company says it has even surpassed its initial target of making 1 million units every month. Noise also claims that it is the first brand to ship more than 3 million made-in-India smartwatches.

Noise is apparently gearing up to launch another new smartwatch model in the Indian market soon. The company is planning on releasing this new smart wearable under its existing ColorFit Pro 4 lineup and will be dubbed the ColorFit Pro 4 Alpha.

According to a new report, the known hearables maker is working on a new ColorFit Pro 4 model. A leak has revealed the name of the upcoming smartwatch, its sales channels, features, and more. The ColorFit Pro 4 Alpha model will reportedly sport a 1.78 inch AMOLED display that will support Always on Display and have a 2.5D curved glass. This screen has a 60Hz refresh rate and 368 x 448 pixel resolution.

Looking at the images of this device, we can see that the smartwatch has a design that somewhat resembles the Apple Watch. This means that it has a square shaped dial with a physical button the right side. The company is apparently also planning on marketing the new physical button as a Digital Crown, which will help users scroll through the UI and menu options. Other notable features include, Tru Sync technology for Bluetooth calling via Bluetooth 5.3.

The company will also support fast charging technology that will be able to go from 0 percent to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. Noise ColorFit Pro 4 Alpha would also have a total battery life of seven days. This model is a mid range budget wearable and will go on sale from Amazon India website soon.

The ColorFit Pro 3 Alpha comes with a 1.69-inch touch screen display with 500 nits peak brightness and 240 x 280 pixels resolution. The wearable also has a voice calling feature which allows you to answer calls, store contacts, and also make calls from recent history. The watch also comes with built-in storage to store up to 80 songs that you can play by connecting with your TWS earphones or even directly through the smartwatch. The smartwatch is listed on Flipkart and Amazon India. The Amazon India listing reveals that the smartwatch will go on sale starting March 25 at 12 Noon in India. Indian brands dominate Smartwatch market as Shipments Triple YoY in Q2 2021

According to the latest research from Counterpoint’s IoT Service, smartwatch shipments in India tripled in Q2 2021 compared to the same period last year, with 206% YoY and 18% QoQ growth during the quarter. Affordable offerings, new players, variable customer preferences, and post lockdown demand recovery were the key factors behind the hike in numbers.

The market is getting competitive as more and more players are entering the market, smartwatches are being preferred over traditional watches for their feature-rich interface and compatibility to get paired with smartphones. This in turn has also resulted in the availability of smartwatches in lower price brackets. Indian brands continue to dominate the market, with the top three brands in the Indian smartwatch market being domestic and have over a three-fifths share of the total market.

The market is going to increase further, with more brands lined up to enter the market in the future. Around 10 brands have already entered since the beginning of 2021. The major highlight is the domestic production growth. Samsung is already producing smartwatches in India since June 2020. Other players like realme, and Timex are also exploring options for domestic production as it would help reduce the prices and dependence on imports.

A Research Associate at Counterpoint Research states, “We are witnessing many new launches in the sub-INR 5,000 segment, which saw its contribution rising to 83% in the overall market in Q2 2021, compared to 67% in Q2 2020. Due to this, the ASP (average selling price) of smartwatches decreased by 36% in Q2 2021 compared to the same period last year. We are also seeing features like Voice Assistant, Bluetooth Calling, SpO2, and Blood Pressure Monitor trickling down from high-end models to the low-end ones.”
