For a brand that brags about how great it is when it comes to software updates, this is disappointing. Now, a new Android 11 roadmap released by the manufacturers reveals the update will be arriving later for some phones.

According to the roadmap shared on the official Nokia Community forums, the rollout which was originally planned to end by the second quarter of 2021 will now end in the third quarter.

Devices such as the Nokia 9 PureView, the Nokia 7.2, and the Nokia 6.2 will now receive the Android 11 update in the third quarter of the year and it appears it will be towards the end of the quarter.

The Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 5.4 are also among the devices getting the update this quarter.

Will HMD Global stick to this adjusted schedule? Only time will tell.

However, there are still several eligible phones that are yet to get updated. HMD Global is one such manufacturer with a large portfolio of devices that are eligible to get updated to Android 10. The manufacturer originally released a schedule for the update back in August 2019. It has now followed it up with a new one today that changes the timeframe for some devices and adds new ones to the list.

The new schedule shows the devices that have already been updated such as the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7 Plus.

New Android 10 update schedule for Nokia phones

The changes begin with the devices scheduled to get updated in the first quarter of 2020. The old schedule (below) stated that the Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2, and Nokia 4.2 will get the update in Q1 2020 but the new schedule shows only the Nokia 2.2 will be updated this quarter. Moreover, the update has been moved to the end of the quarter, so expect it to arrive later this month.

While that is definitely sad news for a lot of people, HMD Global will be making it up to them between the end of the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter. The manufacturer plans to update a total of seven devices within that period. These phones include the Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus and the Nokia 8 Sirocco. The list also includes the Nokia 2.3, Nokia 7.2, and Nokia 6.2 which were not on the first schedule.

Earlier today, Xiaomi announced a price cut for the Mi A3, but if you will rather go with a different brand, then HMD Global Oy’s Nokia 7.2 or Nokia 6.2 are alternatives as the manufacturer has also announced permanent price cuts for the two devices.

Starting with the Nokia 6.2, the phone is now available for purchase at offline partner stores for INR 12,499 (~$175), which is INR 3500 (~$49) off its original launch price in October 2019.

$175 seems like a more reasonable price for a phone with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a Snapdragon 636 processor inside it. It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, triple rear cameras with a 16MP + 8MP + 5MP configuration, and an 8MP selfie camera. You also get a 3500mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.

The more powerful Nokia 7.2 will sell for INR 15,499 (~$217) for the 4GB + 64GB version. That is a reduction of INR 4500 off its launch price. If you want more RAM, then the 6GB + 64GB version which had a launch price of INR19,599 (~$275) can now be bought for INR 17,099 (~$240).

The Nokia 7.2 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen with Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 and also packs a 3500mAh battery. There are three cameras on the back too but it has a 48MP primary camera while the selfie camera is a 20MP sensor. You get a dedicated Google Assistant button, USB Type-C, an audio jack, a fingerprint scanner, and Dual-SIM support.

The two phones launched with Android 9 Pie out of the box but they will get three years of OS upgrades and security updates. Android 10 should be made available for both devices soon.

The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 can be bought at the new prices at retail stores as well as on the official Nokia Mobile India website.

The rear side of the smartphone has a circular camera housing that includes a primary lens of 16-megapixel, a 115-degree ultrawide sensor of 8-megapixel and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel. Upfront is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The Android 9 Pie OS in its Android One edition comes preinstalled on the device. Hence, it is likely to be soon treated with the latest Android 10 update.

A fingerprint scanner can be seen below the camera system of the Nokia 6.2. The 3,500mAh battery supports 10W charging through USB-C. The international edition of the phone has NFC support. Its Indian variant may not feature it.

Nokia 6.2 Price

The 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 64GB storage models of the Nokia 7.2 are respectively priced at the Rs. 18,599 (~$261) and Rs. 19,599 (~$275) in India. Being an inferior device, the Nokia 6.2 will be priced lesser than the Nokia 7.2. It is likely to arrive in Ceramic Black and Ice color editions in India.

However, these two phones turned out to be the real showstoppers of the Nokia event in Berlin, thanks to its revamped design and competitive specs. Now it looks like HMD Global is all set to release the duo in India as well. Both the models were recently listed on the official Nokia India website.

The Nokia 7.2 and the 6.2 share a similar design language with a waterdrop notch on their 6.3-inch IPS LCD displays and a circular camera housing at the back. But the real highlight is the color options available like Cyan Green and Ice which makes their design stand out even more. Unfortunately, the Nokia India website doesn’t reveal a date for its release. But the company is said to have sent invites for a September 11 event in India, likely for their launch.

Unlike the global variants, the Nokia duo won’t have NFC support. This was recently confirmed by a company executive. While the lack of NFC is a bit disappointing, it’s not going to be a deal-breaker for most Indian customers. NFC payment is not really a popular feature in India and even the Nokia 4.2 which was announced in May in India lacked this one particular feature.

Meanwhile, Chinese companies released a lot of new phones, especially value for money ones. That is why we think it is worth making a comparison between the Nokia 6.2 and the latest mid-rangers of the same kind. For this specs comparison, we chose two potential best-sellers of the upcoming period: the powerful and gaming-centric Redmi Note 8 Pro, and the best-buy Realme 5 Pro which debuted with a very affordable price tag despite offering upper-midrange specifications.

Design

The presence of a glass back and a body that is more compact than Redmi Note 8 Pro would make me go for the Nokia 6.2. To be accurate, Realme 5 Pro is the most compact phone of the trio, but it is also the only built with cheaper plastic materials. That is why my choice would be Nokia 6.2. However, do not forget that Realme 5 Pro is splash resistant, unlike its opponents. If you do not care about dimensions, then you would better go for the Redmi Note 8 Pro as it offers a more resistant glass back thanks to the Gorilla Glass 5 protection, as well as more interesting color variants, at least according to my tastes.

Display

The display is one of the strongest points of Nokia 6.2. Despite being just an affordable phone, the Nokia 6.2 boasts an HDR10-compliant display, so it is able to provide better colors, especially with multimedia content. Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme 5 Pro offer just the classic IPS panels that you can find on most of the midrange phones, so they have nothing special to give you in terms of viewing quality. On the other hand, Redmi Note 8 Pro with its bigger display size is more comfortable for gaming and advanced users.

Specs & Software

Nokia 6.2, Realme 5 Pro and Redmi Note 8 Pro are all sold at mid-end prices, but when it comes to performance, there is an abyss between the Redmi Note 8 Pro and its two rivals. Its stunning Helio G90T processor is much faster and it provides way better graphics performance than both the Snapdragon 636 and the Snapdragon 712 found on the Nokia 6.2 and the Realme 5 Pro. Redmi Note 8 Pro even comes with an advanced liquid cooling system which makes the phone stay cool even after long gaming sessions. Note that Nokia 6.2 is the only to feature Android One, so it will get updated faster and more constantly for a longer period. But it is the phone with the lowest-end hardware department here.

Camera

Even though it is a gaming-centric device, Redmi Note 8 Pro is also a great camera phone. Alongside the Realme XT (which is not in this comparison) it is the world’s first phone with a 64 MP main cameras (very high resolution but still a midrange sensor), and it provides the best photo quality compared to Realme 5 Pro and Nokia 6.2. Right after, there is the quad-camera setup found on the Realme 5 Pro with a 48 MP main sensor, while Nokia 6.2 has a main sensor with just a 16 MP resolution. However, we are sure that it will give us surprises given the advanced camera enhancing technologies described by HMD Global at IFA 2019.

Battery

The big 4035 mAh battery paired with a 10 nm processor and a compact display should make Realme 5 Pro last more than Redmi Note 8 Pro, despite the latter has almost the same battery capacity. The weak point of the Helio G90T SoC is the production process, which influences the efficiency in a negative way. Nokia 6.2 has a 3500 mAh battery, so we do not think it can compete.

Price

Nokia 6.2 will cost €200/$220 in its base variant, Realme 5 Pro starts from €175/$193 and Redmi Note 8 Pro has a €180/$198 starting price. Unless you need the best display and faster updates, we do not think it is worth going for the Nokia 6.2. At the end of the day, Redmi Note 8 Pro is way more convincing than Nokia 6.2 and Realme 5 Pro as it offers higher performance, a better camera on the paper, a bigger display, and a great build quality.

The Nokia 6.2 brings new features and a new design that greatly differs from its predecessors.

The Nokia 6.2 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ PureDisplay. It has a dedicated PixelWorks display processor that converts whatever you are viewing from SDR to HDR. So rather than 17 million colors, the Nokia 6.2 can display up to a billion shades. The Nokia 6.2 ditches the thick bezels of its predecessor for a waterdrop notch and a slightly less thick lower bezel. It is covered in Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides.

The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage. It also has a MicroSD card slot for up to an additional 512GB of storage.

The Nokia 6.2 also gets a significant upgrade in the camera department. It now comes with triple rear cameras that are housed in a circular housing with a bump. The primary camera is a 16MP sensor and it is paired with a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultrawide angle camera. An LED flash is housed together with the sensors while a fingerprint scanner sits underneath. There is an 8MP camera in front for selfies.

The Nokia 6.2 runs Android 9 Pie out of the box with 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates guaranteed. It also has a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone will come with 3-months of Google One 100GB storage worth €1.99 per month.

It packs a 3500mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. It has a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and Qualcomm aptX audio. It also has dual SIM support, NFC (except for Latin America, USA, and India models), and a USB Type-C port.

The Nokia 6.2 is priced at €199 and will be available in October. It comes in Ice and Black color variants.

Nokia_Anew has claimed that its sources has confirmed that the company will be launching Nokia 5.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 smartphones. These smartphones will be arriving as successor editions of the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 5. 1 phones from last year. Also, the company is also expected to announce three feature phones at the event. The source claims that the Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 6.2 phones were previously speculated to debut in May. However, their arrival was delayed for unknown reasons.

The Nokia 7.2 was spotted on Geekbench with yesterday 1.84GHz processing speeds for its octa-core processor. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the Nokia 7.2 has respectively scored 1604 and 5821 points. It is speculated that the phone could be equipped with Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 710 chipset.

The Nokia 7.2 that is codenamed as Daredevil is expected to come with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel, Snapdragon 660/710 chipset and up to 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone may come with up to 128 GB of native storage. Yet again, it will be an Android One device with Android 9 Pie OS onboard. Amongst the candidates of hopeful launches is the flagship device from the company called the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone. Apart from that, a new teaser from the company has also hinted a possible launch of the Nokia 6.2, which is allegedly a rebranded Nokia X71 from China.

The Nokia X71 features a ZEISS-certified 48MP primary camera sensor at the rear with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP 120-degree super-wide angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor at the back as well. For selfies, the smartphone is fitted with a 16MP shooter that has an aperture of f/2.0. Stock Android 9 Pie and a 3,500mAh battery. It’s very much a solid mid-range device, not too many clear problems here.

Nokia anew has posted a tweet which indicates that the Nokia 6.2 will launch with a price tag around $290, which is similar to the launch price of Nokia 6.1 in some markets. The tweet also mentions new colours, Zooming capability and dedicated night mode on the upcoming device. That’s nice, it always gives a good impression when you keep devices up to date.

Nokia has been doing quite well recently, at least in terms of recognition. The company’s rise from death to relevance is quite an impressive saga, and it’s almost inspiring. HMD Global’s been seeing some pretty good reception for most of their devices, so let’s hope they keep it up. We wouldn’t want to see a repeat of the first Nokia death again, do we?

Invites have already been sent out to guests and the official Twitter account has released a teaser for the launch. The teaser doesn’t reveal any hint about the device(s) that will be announced though it does seem as if the camera will be a selling point.

There are speculations that HMD Global will announce the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 5.2. The former is already overdue for a successor. The Nokia 6.2 is expected to come with a punch hole display just like the China-exclusive Nokia X71. It should also have dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

However, rather than the Snapdragon 660, the Nokia 6.2 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 632 processor found in the Moto G7 and Redmi 7.

There is still a week to the launch and we expect more details will surface before then.

The TENAA listing has preliminary information of the smartphone and it also contains its images. The photos of the TA-1172 suggest that it is a Chinese version of the Nokia X71 smartphone that was recently announced in Taiwan.

Nokia TA-1172 TENAA Listing

The Nokia TA-1172 TENAA listing shows that it measures 156.89 x 76.15 x 7.98mm. The smartphone is fitted with a 6.39-inch display. A minimum capacity battery of 3,400mAh is present inside the phone. The TENAA images of the Nokia TA-1172 show that it is identical to the Nokia X71 since it is equipped with a punch-hole display and a rear-mounted triple camera module.

Could the Nokia TA-1172 arriving as Nokia 6.2 to China and other countries? Two entries of Nokia X71 and Nokia 6 (2019) (also known as Nokia 6.2) was recently spotted on OTA firmware with the same TAS codename on FIH servers. This suggested that the Nokia X71 could be hitting the Chinese markets as Nokia 6.2.

There are reports that the X71 will be released globally as the Nokia 6.2. The rear panel for the Nokia 6.2 has been seen on Amazon India and it reveals some interesting new details.

The image for the listing reveals the Nokia 6.2 will come in black and white. There may be more colors but these two are confirmed for now. There are two cut-outs on the panel – a long one for the cameras and another for the fingerprint scanner.

The Nokia X71 is said to have three rear cameras but looking at the cut-out for the cameras on the Nokia 6.2’s panel, We doubt that will take three cameras and an LED flash. That cut-out will only be able to fit two sensors while the third is for the LED flash. If it were made to fit three sensors, it will be larger.

Take a look at the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus which both launched first in Asia as the Nokia X5 and Nokia X6, they have a similar rear panel which houses two sensor and the LED flash while the fingerprint scanner sits underneath the setup.

If the Nokia X71 and Nokia 6.2 a.k.a. Nokia 6 2019 are the same phones then both will come with dual rear cameras and not triple rear cameras. At least based on the panel of the Nokia 6.2 shown above.

Some reports claimed that it could be launching as Nokia 8.1 Plus outside of Taiwan. However, some reports that it could be arriving as Nokia 6.2 in international markets. A new leak that that surfaced today suggests that the Nokia X71 may go official as Nokia 6.2 in global markets.

Previous reports had claimed that the upcoming Nokia 6.2 (also known as Nokia 6 2019) could be codenamed as TAS which stands for Taishun. Two screenshots of FIA OTA tracker of Nokia X71 and Nokia 6 (2019) that appeared on China’s Baidu recently show they are both codenamed as TAS. This indicates that these devices are same device.

The purported email from Finnish firm had revealed that the smartphone would be arriving with a triple camera setup with 48-mgeapixel sensor and 120-degree wide-angle lens. It also stated that the phone would be arriving with a punch-hole display. It is also expected to carry support for 18W rapid charging. Earlier today, the Nokia X71 smartphone was spotted on Geekbench with specs like Android 9 Pie OS, 6 GB of RAM and Snapdragon 660. Contradictory reports from the past have claimed that the Snapdragon 632 could be powering the smartphone.

The Nokia 6.1 from last year was fueled by the Snapdragon 630. Hence, the Snapdragon 660 SoC appears suitable for the Nokia 6.2 phone. A recent report had revealed that the Nokia 6.2 will be made official between March and June. The Nokia 6.1 was unveiled with a price tag of 279 euros (~$315). It is speculated that the upcoming Nokia 6.2 will be hitting the market with a similar price tag.

However, information that had appeared before the Feb. 24 media event of the Finnish firm had revealed that the Nokia 9 PureView would be the only major phone that will be unveiled at MWC. The company had also announced some other phones such as Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 210 feature phone at the event. A Twitter account that is known for leaking details on the upcoming Nokia phones has claimed that the Nokia 6.2 will go official in spring and its price will remain on the same lines as the Nokia 6.1 from 2018.

Now that the Nokia 6.2 is expected to go official in Spring, the Finnish firm may announce it between late March and late June. As far as pricing is concerned, the Nokia 6.1 was introduced with a price tag of 279 euros (~$315). Hence, there is a possibility that the Nokia 6.2 may also hit the market with a similar pricing. However, it is advisable to digest the leak with a grain of salt.

Nokia 6.2 Specifications (Rumors)

The Nokia 6.2 is expected to include a 6.2-inch punch-hole display. It is expected carry support for full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The handset may measure 156.9 x 76.2 x 7.9mm. The Snapdragon 632 SoC may power the 4 GB and 6 GB RAM editions of the Nokia 6.2.

Yesterday, reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal had claimed that the Finnish firm will launch four phones at the event namely, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 1 Plus. This leak also suggested that the company could be planning to launch the Nokia 9 PureView phone alongside some weaker smartphones.

If the new information is true, the company may launch the Nokia 6.2 in the coming month. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know more on the arrival of the smartphone.

Rumors surrounding the Nokia 6.2 have revealed that it could be the company’s first smartphone with punch-hole display. It is speculated to house a 6.2-inch display that will offer full HD+ resolution. It may draw power from Snapdragon 632 mobile platform, 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM, 16-megapixel dual rear cameras with ZEISS optics and OZO audio. It is speculated to debut first in China and then release in European countries.

The Nokia 9 PureView is rumored to come with 5.99-inch QHD+ display, Snapdragon 845, up to 6 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage, 4,150mAh battery with wireless charging support and in-display fingerprint scanner. However, the USP of the phone will be its penta-lens camera setup that is speculated to packed with a pair of 12-megapixel sensors, a pair of 16-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel sensor.

One of the phones we expect the Nokia licensee to unveil is the Nokia 9 PureView. Official posters have surfaced and they confirm the arrival of the flagship along with the manufacturer’s first phone with a punch-hole display said to be the Nokia 6.2 or Nokia 8.1 Plus.

MWC 2019 begins officially on the 25th of February and runs until the 28th but manufacturers usually schedule their launches a day or two before the show begins. HMD Global will be doing the same this year as the Nokia 9 PureView will be unveiled on Sunday 24th February based on the details on the poster.

We know it is the Nokia 9 launching on that day because the poster shows the multiple camera sensors of the phone. The Nokia 9 PureView will have five rear cameras though the poster shows just four.

The second poster shows the silhouette of a phone with a punch-hole camera on the left corner of the display. At the moment, there are two Nokia phones said to have this type of display. Popular leaker, OnLeaks shared 3D renders of a phone said to be the Nokia 8.1 Plus a few weeks ago. However, another leaker claims it is not the Nokia 8.1 Plus but the Nokia 6.2 a.k.a. Nokia 6 (2019).

The Nokia 6.2 is said to pack a 6.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 632 processor, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 16MP dual rear cameras with Carl Zeiss lens, and Nokia OZO Audio. The leaker, @Nokia_Leaks also said it will launch end of January or February.

The previous Nokia 6 models launched first in China, so there is a high chance the phone will be announced there first before making its way to MWC 2019 for a global launch. However, HMD Global hasn’t said anything yet about an event in China.

The second poster doesn’t give a specific date the Nokia 6.2/Nokia 8.1 Plus will launch but it does state the date MWC begins and ends. The phone may be announced on any of these days.

The announcement has come in the form of a simple tweet from HMD Global Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas. Hopefully, the Finnish firm will be sending out official invites for the upcoming launch event. The company had launched multiple smartphones at MWC 2018 and MWC 2017. Hence, it is speculated to launch several new phones including the Nokia 9 PureView camera-centric phone on Feb. 24.

Nokia 9 PureView

It goes without saying that the Nokia 9 PureView is the one of the most anticipated smartphones of the recent times since it is heavily pegged to arrive with penta-lens camera setup. Recent reports have revealed that the Nokia 9 PureView will be the first phone from the company to come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device is speculated to be equipped with a 5.9-inch AMOLED display that is expected to produce 18:9 aspect ratio and Quad HD resolution.

The Snapdragon 845 chipset is rumored to power the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone along with 6 GB of RAM. There are some rumors that the company may release its Snapdragon 855 edition later this year.

The Nokia 9 PureView may feature 128 GB of internal storage. It will be loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. It could be packed with a 4,150mAh battery. The phone is also rumored to arrive with wireless charging support. The exact configuration of the penta-lens setup of the Nokia 9 PureView is still under the wraps. In Europe, the smartphone may cost around 749 euros (~$850).

Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 8.1 Plus

Nokia 6.2 is rumored to debut as the first Nokia phone with punch-hole display of 6.2 inches. It could be fueled by the Snapdragon 632 chipset and 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM.

The back panel of the phone will be featuring a dual camera setup with ZEISS branded 16-megapixel primary sensor. It will also carry support for OZO Audio technology. It will be receiving power from 3,000mAh battery. It is expected to land in Europe after it makes its debut in China.

Very less details on the specs of the Nokia 8.1 Plus smartphone have surfaced so far. It is expected to measure 156.9 x 76.2 x 7.9mm and house a 6.2-inch display.

The Nokia 6.2 is expected to come with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display and interestingly it is said to come with a punch hole design or Infinity O-like display. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset.

The smartphone will be offered in two variants — 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. Both the models are expected to feature 64GB of internal storage and will have a microSD card for further expanding the phone’s storage capacity.

In the camera department, the phone is expected to feature a dual camera setup consisting of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and the secondary sensor is also likely to be a 16-megapixel. The company is said to have decided to use the Leica lens. Currently, there’s no information available for the front-facing camera.

Just like other Nokia-branded smartphones, this one too will be a part of Google’s Android One program and will run the stock version of the Android operating system. While the Android version is not yet known, the phone is likely to run Android Pie.

If this turns out to be true, then the Nokia 6.2 will be the first smartphone to launch in this year. However, we’d advise taking this with a pinch of salt as apart from the tweet from a not-much-known Twitter handle, there’s no information available regarding this.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus (Nokia X5 in China) came next and then the Nokia 7.1 and the Nokia X7 which will launch globally as the Nokia 8.1.

If you don’t like these phones because they have a notch, then you may be comforted to know that HMD Global will not release another phone with a notch. The info comes from Twitter account Nokia anew (@nokiamobileru) which has posted details about Nokia phones that turned out to be true.

According to the account, the Nokia 6.2, which should be the successor to the Nokia 6.1/Nokia 6 (2018) will not have a notch. Instead, it will feature an “interesting solution” as the account puts it. The rest of the tweet says “Thus Nokia 8.1 can complete the Nokia “notch parade” in the Nokia line-up”.

https://twitter.com/nokiamobileru/status/1065312634642358272

READ MORE: A slew of Nokia phones including Nokia 6.1 Plus (X6) gets latest Android Security Patch

At the moment we can only guess what “interesting solution” HMD Global will use for its next-generation models. Will it be a display with a hole in it or will it be a slide mechanism? Our bet is on the former since there are reports some display manufacturers including China’s BOE are already making LCD displays with holes in them. And since the Nokia 6.2 will be a mid-range phone, it will definitely use an LCD display.
