The HMD Global owned company, Nokia is set to enthrall the MWC 2019 with the new Nokia 9 Pureview. As leaked and rumored from past few months, Nokia 9 Pureview launch is just a couple of days ahead. Just before launching it at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona, its official press images have appeared on the web.  After fascinating launches from Samsung, we expect Nokia’s flagship to be equally competitive to Galaxy S10 variants.

The new Nokia 9 Pureview official images matches the already revealed look in a promo video published in December 2018. Recently, a leaked press renders of the device purely resembles the official images of the device. The design of the Pureview 9 device matches the things we have seen in leaks and rumors. It carries conventional bezels on the top and the bottom of the device.

Surprisingly, the photos verify the Penta-lens camera module on the rear side of the device. In detail, among five shooters, there are different sensors such as AF and PDAF along with an LED flash. On the bottom rear side of the device, there’s an Android One logo with other certification details.

Moving to the front once again, we see a full HD display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the bottom, there’s a speaker grill with a USB-C type port. Well, on the right side, there’s a power button along with volume rocker.

As far as the specs are concerned, then as per old leaks, Nokia 9 Pureview will come with 5.9-inch AMOLED display with the resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Moreover, the device is set to ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 rather than the latest Snapdragon 855. Nokia 9 Pureview will come in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage variant.

Nokia sent out invitations about three weeks ago for its launch event taking place on February 25 during MWC 2018. The HMD Global-controlled company is expected to unveil the Nokia 9 flagship alongside other smartphones. Ahead of the February 25 launch event, a device suspected to be the Nokia 9 has been spotted in the hands of an HMD Global official. The sighting was done during the recent launch of the Nokia 8 for the Indonesian market held in Jakarta.

The leaked photos of the device are sort of blurry but sure isn’t any of the present crops of Nokia models in the market. Based on previous leaks and renders, the device is very much suspected to be the Nokia 9. The display screen features a curved edge similar to the Galaxy  S8 and Galaxy Note 8. The device, however, doesn’t look too long, fueling speculations that the device will have a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of the trending 18:9 which almost all latest flagships use. The back cover is also made of glass and we could see a dual camera setup mounted in a vertical arrangement at the centre. Just beneath the dual cameras is the fingerprint sensor and this setup aligns with the leaked protective TPU casing which has been a regular in leaks, even finding its way into Amazon UK.

Apart from the flagship Nokia 9, HMD Global could also take the wraps off Nokia 1 as well as the Nokia 6 (2018) for the global market, Nokia 3310 4G and perhaps, the Nokia 7 which has only been launched in China. It would be recalled that last year’s MWC saw a flurry of smartphone launch by the tech giant including the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and the redesigned Nokia 3310 feature phone. Apart from smartphones, we could see Nokia also launch a smart home product at the event. The event would hold between 4 pm and 5 pm at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Arts on February 25.

HMD Global Oy controlled Nokia was tipped to launch the Nokia 2, Nokia 7 and Nokia 9 at MWC 2018 but the Nokia 2 and Nokia 7 are already official. The Nokia 9 which is expected as another flagship model is still shrouded in mystery. However, the expected flagship model is in the news now. That is because a protective case said to be for the Nokia 9 was spotted on Amazon UK where it was listed for sale.

The case was manufactured by case-maker HualuBro and is sold by more than one seller on Amazon.It would have been treated like just another protective casing if not that the listing also revealed the purported render of the flagship 9. The listing is accompanied by some 3D renders of the Nokia 9 revealing the design to a large extent both the front as well as the back.

The renders confirm some details contained in previous leaks like the presence of an edge-to-edge display and a dual camera setup. The display wraps around the long edges of the case while the dual camera is aligned in the vertical direction with the LED flash at the right side. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as captured in the renders.

The Amazon listing for the Nokia 9’s HualuBro-manufactured protective case could be an indication that Nokia will launch the flagship soon. However, we may have to wait till next year to see the flagship launched. The case is available in Carbon Fiber Black, Blue, and Red, as well as Litchi Black, Blue, and Red. Each of the protective case sells for a discounted price of £3.88 (around $5.20). This brings the price down from the original price tag of £26.88 ($36).This bold listing could be a confirmation of the Nokia 9’s design or else how do we explain selling a protective case when we are yet to even confirm the design?

After launching Nokia 3, 5, 6 and the most recent Nokia 8, HMD Global, the Finnish company is gearing up to launch a new flagship smartphone — Nokia 9. While the phone is not making its way to the market until next year, we now know how it will look.

Nokia is expected to launch three new smartphones early next year, including Nokia 2, 7 and 9. After the images Nokia 2 made its way to the internet, now is the turn for Nokia 9.

Well-known leaker @OnLeaks has rendered HMD Global‘s upcoming flagship based on CAD files, which gives us a look at the phone and what to expect from it.

From the renders, it appears that the company has jumped the narrow bezels bandwagon for the Nokia 9. The smartphone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED Quad HD display. Based on the render, it looks like it will come with a curved screen.

It is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, along with 4GB of RAM. As per the speculations, it will have two storage options to choose from — 64GB and 128GB.

The smartphone will probably run on the latest Android 8 Oreo operating system. The device is said to measure 140.9 x 72.9 x 7.5 mm, but the camera bump will increase the thickness to 8.9 mm.

The renders show vertically stacked dual-lens camera setup at the back, just above the fingerprint sensor. While the details about the camera sensor are not known, it is speculated to be of 12-megapixel or 13-megapixel.

At the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port along with speaker grille and a microphone. The USB Type-C is the only port on the phone. The company is following the trend of removing the 3.5mm audio jack.

The phone is speculated to have an aluminium frame. It is said to come with an IP68 rating and wireless charging support. Although the device looks beautiful based on the render, there’s always a chance that things could change before it goes to production.

The Nokia 2 is the next Android smartphone we are expecting from HMD Global but the Nokia 9 has also been in the news in recent times.

The Nokia 9 is expected to launch as a premium flagship device like the Nokia 8 but with major design changes. A mock-up of the phone was leaked online and according to Nokia Power User, the source is known for genuine Nokia and Lumia device leaks.

The Nokia 9 is seen beside the Nokia 2 in the mock-up. The back is curved allowing for a better grip and report says it is made of glass to allow for wireless charging.

It features a vertical dual camera setup like the Nokia 8 but that is the only thing they have in common. The housing for the sensors is shorter. The LED flash is also flanking it on the right.

Another major difference is the position of the fingerprint scanner. Unlike the Nokia 8, Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 which all have their fingerprint sensors in front, the Nokia 9 is seen here with its own at the back. The reason for this is because the bezels in front will be minimal to allow for a greater screen-to-body ratio just like we have seen in lots of phones this year.

The Nokia 9 is expected to launch with dual 13MP rear cameras with Carl Zeiss lens. It will also have anther 13MP camera in front for selfies. The processor will be the Snapdragon 835. RAM is put at 6GB or 8GB with 128GB of expandable storage. There is also mention of IP68 certification in addition to an iris scanner.

HMD Global announced the Nokia 8 which is its first flagship Android phone since the return of the brand, about three weeks back. Th device featured a Snapdragon 835 processor as well as a Carl Zeiss camera among others. However, the Nokia 8’s design left some fans disappointed due to its close semblance to Nokia’s previous mid-range Nokia 6 which also looked like the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3. Apart from the dual cameras at the rear and a couple of other features, the Nokia 8 doesn’t look too spectacular for a flagship, it’s first at that.

Well, no need seething about the Nokia 9, just look forward to the next flagship Nokia 9. There is no chance we’d be seeing that anytime soon because the Nokia 8 is yet to even full roll out and go up for sale. But a Nokia 9 Concept video has popped up online cooked up by Concept Creators. The Concept video reveals a device with very thin bezels with side bezels completely absent. The Nokia 9 Concept also features a curved glass on top of its display. This gives the sides of the phone some bit of curvature and that is easily noticeable in the provided video. The Nokia 9 in question also doesn’t have any buttons up at the front as it features on-screen keys. The capacitive keys are all located on the right side of the device.

The Nokia 9 Concept suggests that Nokia may likely continue its parley with Carl Zeiss on the Nokia 9 as it features a vertically aligned 13MP dual camera setup on the back (Zeiss’ optics) with dual-tone LED flash just below the cameras. Since the revival of the Nokia brand under HMD Global Oy, the yearnings of the numerous fans the brand has across the world is for the launch of a true Nokia flagship. That Nokia flagship has of late been tipped to be the Nokia 9. The Nokia device has been the subject of numerous leaks and the leaks still keep coming out.

A new Geekbench listing said to be the Nokia 9 has appeared on Geekbench’s database. The device is listed as “Unknown Heart” but is believed to be the Nokia flagship expected to be released in the third quarter of this year. The most spectacular listing is an 8GB RAM which the device is attributed to have. The device is listed with an octa-core Qualcomm chip clocked at 1.90GHz.

You may wonder the link this GeekBench’s listing has with the Nokia 9. Well, a leaked Nokia 9 photo had earlier appeared online showing some details. The device was revealed to be running CPU-Z software and the system information was on display. The displayed information gave the model name as “Heart (Unknown)” and indication this could be the expected Nokia flagship.

Before now, the Nokia 9 has severally been tipped to come with a Snapdragon 835 chip and would have a dual camera setup. Now, that is likely not possible but in this industry, you never say never.

At a time talks of a Nokia 9 in the works are getting heated, a new concept design for the Nokia 9 designed by PhoneDesigner has appeared online. The render isn’t likely going to be the final one for the expected device but you never can tell anyway.

The major highlights of the design include the bezel-less design it features up front. The display curves at the two sides, eliminating the side bezels. Also, the device seems to feature a high screen-to-body ratio. There is also no physical home button at the front but the device uses onscreen buttons.

Another interesting feature on the render is the dual-lens camera at the rear. The dual cameras are aligned in a vertical plane and the LED flash is located under the second camera, still in the same plane. This just looks so real with the Nokia logo engraved under the camera setup. Unfortunately, it isn’t real.

Still talking about the design, this Nokia 9 concept render is said to be 6.2mm thick meaning it is a thin device. It also has a 2:1 aspect ratio on a 5.5-inch display. There are equally two front speakers on the device. The Nokia 9 is rumoured as coming in the third quarter of this year and is expected to sport a Snapdragon 835 processor, among other features.

The Nokia 9 is said to be scheduled for a end of July or early August launch but won’t be available until the end of the third quarter or later. This time frame will probably see the Nokia 9 compete with more devices for customers’ money.

Devices like the LG V30, the Pixel 2, and even new flagships from Samsung and Xiaomi will be launched in the beginning of the fourth quarter. Notwithstanding, sales may actually turn out not to be a problem as the popularity of the Nokia brand may help it record more sales.

We’re starting to get confused by the number game playing around the Nokia brand. It is difficult telling if we are expecting the Nokia 7 or Nokia 8 as the company’s flagship phone or Nokia 9. Nevertheless, a recently leaked specs sheet said to be for Nokia 9 has appeared online.

There will also be an iris scanner on the device which will run Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the- box.

The source is said to have no credibility track record so, this leak is likely untrue, anyway.
