Nokia introduced the Nokia C32 smartphone during Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February. The brand has now launched the device in the UK and is planning to bring it to the Indian market soon, as the listing became available a few months ago. According to a recent report, further details about the phone have emerged.

As per a Hindi report from 91mobiles, the Nokia C32 is expected to make its debut in India on May 23. This implies that the Indian market will soon witness the availability of a new Nokia smartphone. Apart from disclosing the launch date, the report also mentions that the device will be priced at around Rs 9999 in the country. However, it remains unclear whether this is the introductory price or the maximum retail price (MRP). Nonetheless, the arrival of a Nokia smartphone within the Rs 10,000 price range is likely to grab the attention of both existing Nokia users and those nostalgic for the brand’s earlier models. Nokia C22 is the brand’s latest budget phone with an HD+ display

The new device has just been launched in India and targets the budget range segment. Four Nokia Smartphones Receive Bluetooth SIG Certification With Bluetooth 4.2 Specs

Recently four Nokia smartphones have received Bluetooth SIG certification. The devices have been listed with model numbers TA-1533, TA-1536, TA-1541, and TA-1539 and support 2G, 3G, and 4G network connectivity along with Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi support. Although not much information is available about the devices, it is believed that all four models might be the same device with different model numbers.

According to reports, the TA-1533 model number is linked to the Nokia C22 smartphone that was recently launched ahead of the MWC Event in Barcelona. The certification hints that the smartphone might be launched in more markets soon.

The Nokia C22 smartphone is a budget-friendly device and was launched on 25th February 2023. It comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and runs on the Android 13 (Go edition) operating system. Ahead of MWC 2023, HMD Global unveiled a couple of Nokia-branded smartphones. These handsets are officially called Nokia C22 and Nokia C32.

During the announcement, the company only revealed European pricing. However, the devices are already up on the firm’s India website. Let’s go through the details.

Nokia C32

The Indian website of Nokia Mobile has been updated with the listings of the newly announced Nokia C22 and Nokia C32. The web pages talk about the features of the phones but they don’t say anything about the release date and pricing.

As far as specs are concerned, the two products are almost identical. They only differ in terms of primary camera and storage.

The Nokia C22 sports a 13MP camera, whereas the Nokia C32 comes with a 50MP snapper. Similarly, the C22 can be only availed with 64GB storage, however, the C32 also arrives in a 128GB version.

Both handsets are built around a 6.5-inch HD+ display (LCD) with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+) and a dewdrop notch. They are powered by a Unisoc SC9863A SoC and boot Android 13 Go Edition.

The phones come with a 2MP secondary camera for macro shots and an 8MP front-facing camera. They offer a fingerprint sensor, a dedicated microSD card slot, and a USB Type-C port.

Last but not least, they are backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for standard 10W charging. In Europe, the C22 and the C32 start from €110 and €130, respectively.

Nokia has announced the C22 and C32 phones in the C series of affordable phones. The new phones come with some decent features on top of a three-day battery life.

The Nokia C32 is the first in the C series lineup to come with a 50MP camera and has a glass covering on both its front and back. Both the C22 and C32 are rated IP52 for dust and water spray protection. The two models feature a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with curved glass. They are also both equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that can last up to three days on a full charge. The battery of the Nokia C22 and C32 support 10W charging with battery life being enhanced by AI-enabled battery management.

The Nokia C22 has a plastic rear panel with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The camera setup of the phone includes a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro, and an 8MP front camera. The front camera of the C22 is capable of face unlock even when the owner wears a mask. The phone offers up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable via microSD. It is available in two color variants namely Midnight Black and Sand.

The Nokia C32 is signposted by its 50MP main camera with Night and Portrait modes, as well as Auto HDR.
