<p>The sub-Rs 25,000 segment remains one of the most competitive in the Indian smartphone market. Devices in this price band now offer strong performance, capable cameras, fast charging, and refined software, blurring the lines with pricier mid range models. Whether you’re a gamer or just someone who wants a balanced daily driver, we&#8217;ve rounded up the 5 best smartphones under Rs 25,000 that deliver the most bang for your buck right now.</p>

<h3>Realme P4 Power</h3>

<p>The realme P4 Power 5G starts off our list as a phone that aggressively targets power users with battery-hungry needs. What sets it apart is its massive 10,001mAh battery, making it one of the largest you&#8217;ll find in any commercially available smartphone right now. Pair this with an 80W wired fast charging, expect to spend less time charging your phone and more time using it.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="958" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1024x958.png?x44794" alt="Realme P4 Power" class="wp-image-723512" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1024x958.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-300x281.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-768x718.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1536x1437.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-696x651.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1068x999.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-449x420.png 449w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image.png 1916w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme P4 Power </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Apart from the battery, it sports a 6.8-inch 144Hz HyperGlow curved display that gets impressively bright for outdoor visibility. The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset delivers smooth performance for daily tasks and gaming, and the 50MP + 8MP + 2MP camera setup handles everyday photography well enough.</p>

<h3>Nothing Phone (3a)</h3>

<p>Next up, the Nothing Phone 3a is one of the most exciting options in this price bracket thanks to its clean design and polished software experience. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, it offers smooth visuals and capable performance for everyday use.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219.png?x44794" alt="Nothing Phone (3a)" class="wp-image-684519" width="-39" height="-53" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219.png 531w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219-219x300.png 219w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219-307x420.png 307w" sizes="(max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px" /><figcaption>Nothing Phone (3a)</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It offers a strong triple camera setup, with all three sensors actually being usable (main, telephoto, &amp; ultra wide). A sizeable 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 50W wired fast charging. Nothing’s unique Glyph Lighting (and transparent construction) and refined Nothing OS give this phone a premium vibe normally reserved for higher-end devices, making it a strong contender if you value both aesthetics and performance.</p>

<h3>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</h3>

<p>The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G also brings some capable features to the Rs 25,000 price range. It packs a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with vibrant colors and a high refresh rate, paired with a massive 6200mAh battery supported by 90W fast charging. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14 Pro+" class="wp-image-679707" width="-159" height="-119" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold.png 876w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-300x226.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-768x578.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-696x524.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-558x420.png 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-265x198.png 265w" sizes="(max-width: 876px) 100vw, 876px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in Sand Gold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>You also get a versatile camera setup with the inclusion of a dedicated telephoto lens in this segment, giving it an edge over its rivals. This Xiaomi device delivers balanced performance, strong visuals, and a versatile camera setup, making it a compelling choice for those who want a more complete smartphone experience.</p>

<h3>Realme 14 Pro+</h3>

<p>The realme 14 Pro+ is another notable pick that blends performance with imaging prowess. It features a 6.83-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising an immersive viewing experience, whether you’re gaming or streaming content.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Realme 14 Pro Plus" class="wp-image-676157" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the camera front, the 14 Pro+ leans into capable imaging hardware, which also includes a telephoto shooter. With reliable battery life and fast charging, it’s one of the best balanced phones under this price range if you want rounded performance across use cases. Some of its notable features include Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a big 6,000mAh battery pack, and 80W wired fast charging.</p>

<h3>OnePlus Nord CE 5</h3>

<p>Rounding up the list is the OnePlus Nord CE5, which strikes a great balance between performance, design, and long-term software support. It sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It doesn’t lag behind in performance either with the Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC, offering dependable responsiveness for social apps, multitasking, and even gaming. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-1024x768.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus Nord CE 5" class="wp-image-699983" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>OnePlus Nord CE 5</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Battery life is solid, and OxygenOS (based on Android) remains one of the cleaner software experiences you’ll find at this price, with buttery smooth UI animations and impressive customization options. If you’re looking for a phone that feels premium in day-to-day use without the premium price tag, the Nord CE5 makes a strong case.</p>

<p><strong>Photos and Video Tools Get Better</strong></p>

<p>The Photos app now automatically straightens portrait and architectural photos when you crop or rotate them. Video editing adds several new tools: cutting, splitting, stitching multiple clips, adding music and text, adjusting playback speed, and cropping.</p>

<p>You can filter photos and videos by Motion Photo, Screenshots and screen recordings, or Edited items. Thumbnails load faster thanks to improved processing.</p>

<p><strong>Easier Navigation and Customization</strong></p>

<p>Storage cleanup tools are now accessible directly from Smart Sidebar. After resizing app icons and adding shortcut icons, you can drag and drop them to rearrange their position. This works for app clone icons too.</p>

<p>Circle to Search works better in gesture navigation. You can activate it by holding the area where the gesture bar usually appears, even when it&#8217;s hidden.</p>

<p><strong>Security Updates</strong></p>

<p>The update includes the January 2026 Android security patch. Private Safe now lets you edit images and videos without unlocking them first.</p>

<p>Phone Manager will ask if you want automatic blocklist updates over Wi-Fi and mobile data. Enabling this keeps the blocklist current and improves threat detection.</p>

<p><strong>Who Can Install This Update</strong></p>

<p>Only users already on OxygenOS 16 can get this update. If you&#8217;re still using OxygenOS 15, you need to upgrade to OxygenOS 16 first. The rollout starts with a small percentage of users today. A broader release will begin in a few days.</p>

<p>The update brings smoother animations when tapping Live Alerts or notifications while the screen is locked. A new map album has been added, which lets users view all photos with location tags on a map. Photos moved out of the Private album will now return to their original folders, making them easier to find.</p>

<p>Privacy settings have also been updated. Users can now change their privacy password from each secondary page of Private Safe as well as in the Locked album of Photos. App Management in Phone Manager now shows daily and weekly screen time. The IR Remote app has an improved layout for the remote control panel buttons.</p>

<p>On the system side, the September 2025 Android security patch has been added to improve device security.</p>

<p>The OTA rollout is incremental. A limited number of users in India will receive the update first, expanding to more devices after confirming stability. Users can manually check for the update by going to Settings &gt; System &gt; System Updates.</p>

Now, the source has posted another leak that says the phone will go by a different name &#8211; Nord CE 5G.</p>
<p>According to a tweet by Max Jambor, the Nord CE 5G is the name of the smartphone that will succeed the Nord N10 5G. Apparently, OnePlus decided to do a last-minute name change.</p>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true">
<p lang="und" dir="ltr">̷N̷o̷r̷d̷ ̷N̷1̷ ̷5̷G̷ <a href="https://t.co/2dBSvv77G1">pic.twitter.com/2dBSvv77G1</a></p>
<p>&mdash; Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) <a href="https://twitter.com/MaxJmb/status/1393871879744757760?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 16, 2021</a></p></blockquote>
<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>The new name is even weirder as folks will agree that a successor to a phone called the Nord N10 5G should arrive as either the Nord N11 5G or Nord N20 5G. Surprisingly, what we are getting is the Nord CE 5G. The leak didn&#8217;t reveal what the CE stands for, so your guess is as good as ours.</p>
<p>The specs of the Nord CE 5G are still unknown but we expect it to be an affordable 5G phone like the Nord N10 5G.</p>
<p>The Nord N10 5G has a 6.49-inch FHD+ 90Hz display with a hole in the screen for the selfie camera. It is powered by a <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-690">Snapdragon 690</a> processor and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded via a MicroSD card slot. The phone has a 64MP quad-camera setup along with a fingerprint scanner on the back, a 16MP front-facing camera, an audio jack, a 4300mAh battery capacity, and support for 30W fast charging. It is sold in a single color variant &#8211; Midnight Ice &#8211; but we hope its successor comes in more color options.</p>
