Meanwhile, Nothing’s official handle confirmed the Phone (4a) series will be announced globally and in India on the same day. While full specifications are still under wraps, leaks and early benchmarks offer some clues. 

What to expect from the Nothing Phone (4a) series?

The lineup is expected to include a standard Phone (4a) and a Phone (4a) Pro. Both models are rumored to feature UFS 3.1 storage and slightly larger batteries than their predecessors in the Phone (3a) series.

The vanilla model recently appeared on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. Likewise, both phones are expected to launch in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configurations. 

However, the two phones might differ in terms of colors. The standard model is expected to come in Black and White, while the Pro will swap White for a Silver finish.

Pei has also hinted that the Phone (4a) series will push closer to flagship territory in areas like materials, display, camera, and overall build quality. According to him, the company is focusing less on chasing specs and more on refining design and user experience.

In addition to the new phones, Nothing has confirmed it will unveil the Nothing Headphone (a). The latter is an affordable follow-up to last year’s Nothing Headphone (1).

The latest leak that has emerged now reveals the Phone (4a) series’ configurations and color options.

Nothing Phone (4a) series configs, color variants revealed

According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro will arrive in two configurations: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. Both phones will come in a common black color, while the Phone (4a) will also have a white variant, and the Pro edition could also be available in a silver edition.

Reports have claimed that the Phone (4a) series will also have blue and pink editions, but this leak does not mention their existence. Speculation is rife that the brand will announce the Headphone (a) over-the-ear headphones on March 12. It remains to be seen whether the company launches the Phone (4a) alongside the Headphone (a) or separately.

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro was recently spotted on the EPREL certification platform, revealing a rated battery of 5,088mAh and 50W charging. The company has also confirmed that the (4a) series will offer upgraded UFS 3.1 storage. The other specifications of both phones are under wraps.

In related news, Nothing has no plans to launch the Nothing Phone (4a) flagship phone in 2026. Instead, it will shift its focus to bring flagship-level features on the Phone (4a) lineup.

According to a known tipster Yogesh Brar, the brand might be planning an early March release for its new mid-range duo. He also shared a tentative global launch date, which is 5th March 2026. So the affordable devices could be just a month away from their official announcement. This launch strategy would mirror last year’s timing for the Phone (3a) series, which debuted around the same time last year, and helped Nothing solidify its presence in the mid-range segment.

In a recent announcement, Nothing confirmed that there will be no Phone (4) flagship model launching this year, but has already confirmed the Phone (4a) lineup. This might be indicative of the brand’s focus on enhancing the 4a series with meaningful upgrades in design and performance. In the tweet, the tipster did reveal some of these updates, including a faster UFS 3.1 storage instead of the older UFS 2.2, which should result in faster app load times and improved responsiveness.

Both variants are also likely to use Snapdragon 7 series chipsets, although the exact models have yet to be confirmed. This should offer capable performance for day-to-day use and efficient power management. Nothing could bring a marginal battery capacity bump in both models. The Nothing Phone (4a) has appeared on UAE’s TDRA certification platform, indicating the device will launch in the region soon. The certification was issued on January 22, 2026, for model number A069 with equipment registration ER55923/06. The listing simply identifies it as a “smartphone” without revealing specifications or confirming the Nothing Phone (4a) name.

This follows the same model’s appearance on the IMEI certification database in September, confirming the device will launch in multiple markets. According to tipster Yogesh Brar from October, Nothing plans to launch the Phone (4a) series in Q1 2026, which means we could see an announcement by March. Model A069 is the standard Phone (4a), while A069B is the Phone (4a) Pro, following the same pattern used for the Phone (3a) series.

Nothing typically uses Pokémon-themed codenames for its devices. Based on the model number, the Phone (4a) could be codenamed “Bellsprout,” which is number 0069 in the Pokédex. The company may start teasing the launch with cryptic Pokémon images in the coming weeks.

Earlier leaks from developer MlgmXyysd revealed key specifications. The Phone (4a) will reportedly run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Phone (4a) Pro will get the more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both are upgrades from the Phone (3a) series, which used the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Only the Pro model will support eSIM.

The 12GB/256GB version of the Phone (4a) is expected to cost around $475, while the Pro model will be priced at $540. Both phones will come in four colors: Pink, White, Black, and Blue.

Nothing is also working on budget headphones called Nothing Headphone (a). These will feature a plastic body and come in bright colors including Pink and Yellow, alongside standard White and Black options.

So we might see the next gen Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 on the newer models.

Furthermore, the leak claims that only the Pro model will get eSIM support. The standard Phone (4a) is expected to cost around 475 US Dollars, while the Phone (4a) Pro could have a higher 540 US Dollars price tag.
