Today I want to introduce you to a great charger: the NOVOO RG67 SuperVOOC 67W GaN Charger, a foldable charger with 1A1C port. This means that you only need to take it when you travel for business to meet your laptop, phone, and tablet charging needs.

Unboxing & Design

NOVOO RG67 box contains only three things: charger, cable, and manual. The design of the charger is very simple, consisting of black and silver frosted material. Printed on both sides are the NOVOO logo and its charging power. Because of the foldable design and the use of gallium nitride (GaN) technology, the entire charger is very small, 51.5mm*42mm*38mm. About the same size as my Xiaomi Buds 4.

Charging power

What is the most important thing about a charger? Charging speed. Charging speed in addition to depending on how much power your device supports maximum, also depends on the power and protocol of the charger. First, let’s look at the power of the Type-C port. Support 5V/9V/12V/15V/3A, 20V/3.35A PD3.0 67W Max. USB-A supports 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 10V/6.5A, 12V/1.5A SuperVOOC 2.0 50W. If Type-C + USB-A, it supports 45W + 18W MAX.

Charging protocol

The charging protocol is shown in the figure. The Type-C port supports most of the major charging protocols such as PD, QC 4.0, Apple 2.4A, and Vivo’s Super VOOC protocol. Although Samsung AFC and HUAWEI SCP/FCP cannot be activated, but also Samsung and HUAWEI phones can also be used with PD 2.0 or QC protocols to achieve 18w or more charging power, which is also enough.

The USB-A port has fewer protocols and is only recommended for charging iPhones or small battery devices like earbuds.

RG67 has good charging compatibility, such as MacBook Pro/Air, iPad Pro/Air/Mini, iPhone 12/11/XS/XR/X/8 series, Samsung Galaxy S21/S20/Note20 series, Google Pixel 5/4a/4 /3a/3 series all charge normally. Most non-main performance laptops RG67 can also power it.

All in all, NOVOO RG67 SuperVOOC 67W GaN Charger is a good product. First of all, it is a foldable GaN charger, small in size, and easy to carry. Type-C+USB-A port can also power your multiple electronic devices at the same time. The more charging protocols are also a bit of a bonus. The PD protocol allows it to quickly charge most electronic devices, including laptops.
