Nubia, the ZTE-backed brand known for launching gaming-focused productions, is now gearing up to launch yet another gaming smartphone in the market.

Interestingly, the upcoming Nubia Neo gaming smartphone will not be powered by Qualcomm or MediaTek’s chip but will rely on Unisoc’s SoC to power the device.

The Nubia Neo gaming smartphone, which the company has already confirmed will be up for pre-order in the Chinese market from 20th June, will come powered by the Unisoc T820 processor.

As per the report, the chipset packs 1 ARM Cortex-A76 core at 2.7GHz, thee Cortex-A76s cores clocked at 2.3GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.1GHz. Coming to the graphics part, the chipset will feature Mali-G57 MC4 GPU.

From the specifications, it’s clear that the upcoming Nubia Neo gaming smartphone is nowhere near the RedMagic lineup, but the company has focused on the design of the phone to make it look like a gaming device.

The Nubia Neo gaming smartphone will be a budget offering from the company, which is slated to be available for pre-orders in China from 20th June. It is also being reported that the phone will be launched in the global market, but not much is known about it at this time.
