Nubia has today announced the next flash sale date for its flagship Nubia Z11, after the phone was sold out earlier today in it’s second such sale.

Nubia had earlier hinted that it was stocking up heavily for the second round sales of the highly sort after device, but that clearly didn’t help much as the phone was sold out quickly. Further, this morning, a Nubian official announced the third round of sale for the Z11 . The registrations will last between July 13 and July 19, while the device will officially go on sale next Wednesday, i.e. July 20.

It should be noted that while the device comes in a standard version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage and an exclusive version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, it is the standard version that will start selling on July 20 starting at 2499 Yuan ($374 US Dollars).

The second generation Nubia Z11 comes with a borderless design, which means the literal bezels at the edge of the phone’s display is absent. The phone’s design also uses cutting edge technology with a metal frame forged from aluminum alloy which Nubia says is of aviation standard.

The Nubia Z11 uses aRC 2.0 refractive glass technology which breaks through barriers to provide boundlessly clear vision on the 2.5D glass. Nubia’s 2016 flagship device, the Nubia z11 was released in June and officially went on sale online on July 6. Surprisingly, just a few hours after online sales commenced, the device was sold out completely. This has left many potential buyers who are eager to get the device wondering when it will be made available again.

That question has been answered by no less a person that Nubia’s co-founder Ni Fei who also doubles as the GM of Nubia smartphone division. Ni Fei sensationally informed fans on Weibo that Nubia is very busy stocking up more units of the flagship Nubia Z11 smartphone and that the device will go on sale again on July 13. He assured fans that they will soon get their hands on the Nubia Z11 soon.

The Nubia Z11 clutches a fair price tag when compared to last year’s Nubia Z9 which was sold for 3499 for the standard edition. Nubia did explain that there is a significant reduction in the price to give more users the opportunity of having a feel of the borderless Nubia Z11 flagship.

ZTE announced its flagship smartphone for 2016, the ZTE Nubia Z11 yesterday. The phone comes with top-end specs, but what makes this device really special is the bezel-less display on board. Last year, the Nubia Z9 came with a bezel-less screen and the company continued the tradition by using a second generation bezel-less panel on the new Nubia Z11. The phone also gets the new FiT (Fringe Interactive Tech) which enables gestures on the edge, to open, switch apps and even adjust the brightness of the display. It’s overall a pretty cool experience.

Now, OPPOMART has listed the Nubia Z11 flagship up for pre-order on its website. The official price tag of the device in China is around $376 and like expected, you will have to pay a premium price for ordering the device internationally. You can pre-order the phone on OPPOMART for $499. This is for the 4GB + 64GB ROM model, which is more than $100 mark up on the original price. While this is quite costly, it is one of the surest ways of getting hold of this device outside of China. The 6GB RAM version is also available, but you will have to shell out $200 more. You can choose between three colors — silver, gold and gray.

To recap, the Nubia Z11 comes with Snapdragon 820 chip inside with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage / 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. Last year, when Nubia unveiled the Nubia Z9 flagship, it was a big deal since we hardly had any true bezel-less phones in the market. Fast forward to 2016, and we have seen a few new phones with no bezels, so it may not be as big of a deal as it was last year. However, Nubia is here to show us its take on the bezel-less flagship for the second year by unveiling the brand new Nubia Z11 flagship in China. The company made this flagship official in an event today in Beijing, China.

The phone is powerful as well as beautiful. Thanks to its bezel-less display, the Nubia Z11 has managed to reduce its dimensions and its screen covers 81% of the body. So, the Z11 is one of the most compact 5.5-inch smartphones in the market today. Its dimensions are: 151.8 x 72.3 x 7.5mm and the phone weighs 162 grams. The phone gets a metal body with 2.5D glass on both sides. The body goes through nano-injection molding and precision CNC finish to ensure that the overall built turns out to be premium.

As for the specs, the Nubia Z11 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p bezel-less negative LCD display with 500 nit brightness, wide viewing angles and anti-reflective screen. Further, the display comes with the new generation of FiT technology. First seen on the Nubia Z9 last year, the FiT edge touch technology adds various functions to the edge of the smartphone. So for things like starting or switching between applications, adjusting screen brightness or clearing up background apps, various edge-based gestures come to the rescue.

Inside, the Nubia Z11 comes with the mighty Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 2.15GHz. Nubia seems to have worked together with Qualcomm to implement the TruSignal technology on the chip inside its new flagship. To give you some numbers, the TurSignal tech reportedly optimizes phone antenna to reduce call drops by 30%, increase data speeds by 40%, and reduce power consumption due to connections by 20%. You get two memory variants, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. You can further expand this storage up to 200GB via MicroSD. Further, the phone supports dual SIM dual standby with 4G+ and VoLTE. The fingerprint sensor is located at the back and unlocks in just 0.1s.

At the back, the Nubia Z11 comes with a 16MP camera (Sony IMX298) with 6P lens, Blue glass IR filter, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, PDAF and the company’s NeoVision 6.0 tech. Up front, the phone features an 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 80 degrees wide angle lens.

As for the software, the phone runs on Android 6.0.1 out of the box with Nubia UI 4.0 on top. The battery will be of 3000mAh which although, sounds small, will reportedly provide up to 1.37 days of heavy usage and 2.17 days of average usage. The company says this is possible because of its NeoPower technology. The battery supports fast charging at 9V 2A.

C0ming to the pricing, the standard version of the Nubia Z11 with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage starts at 2499 Yuan ($376) while the top-end version with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM retails for 3499 Yuan ($526). The phone is up for booking and will go on sale on July 6 at 10:00 AM. There will also be a C. Ronaldo special edition of the Nubia Z11, however, the company is yet to reveal pricing and release details about this version.

Nubia is all set to announce the bezel-less Nubia Z11 flagship on June 28. The phone will reportedly come with top-end specs to take on competitors like the Galaxy S7 Edge, Xiaomi Mi5 and other high-end models that currently rule the market. Yesterday, we saw the Nubia Z11 on the AnTuTu benchmark test and it scores upwards of 140K. Now, the same phone has been leaked in a couple of pictures, revealing the phone’s bezel-less design and metal body.

These pictures confirm that the phone will come with a bezel-less display, similar to the one that we saw last year on the Nubia Z9. Further, another picture confirms the metal body at the back, with a round fingerprint sensor. This is in line with what we saw in the previous images that were revealed by TENAA. Thanks to the bezel-less screen, it looks like the phone’s width will be controlled, as in the pictures, it seemed as if one handed operation was going to be possible. TENAA and AnTuTu have given us a very good idea of the specs of the Nubia Z11. The phone will come with the Snapdragon 820 chipset inside with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s no mention of a 6GB RAM edition, but given its flagship status, we expect one to be announced at the launch event. At the back, the phone will feature a 16MP camera, while up front, there will be an 8MP shooter. The screen will be bezel-less with a size of 5.5-inches and 1080p resolution. Also, the phone will be running on the new Android 6.0.1 version.

According to today’s AnTuTu listing, the Nubia Z11 comes with Snapdragon 820 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There will be a 16MP camera at the back and an 8MP shooter up front. Also, the phone will sport a 1080p display. While the screen size is not revealed here, TENAA listing confirmed that it will be a 5.5-inch panel. Inside, the phone features a 2900mAh battery. As for the software, it comes with Android 6.0.1. This is great news as both Z11 Mini and Z11 Max came with Android 5.1 lollipop on top.

Now, coming to the performance, on AnTuTu, the Nubia Z11 managed to score about 140,000 which is a pretty good score. This puts the phone in the top rankings alongside phones like the Xiaomi Mi5, Galaxy S7 and the Le Max 2.

This year at CES 2016, we didn’t see any new release from ZTE’s subsidiary, Nubia smartphones. However, according to the latest information, Nubia does have a smartphone launch in plan and we will most likely meet the next generation Nubia Z11 flagship on January 18. In addition to this news, we have also spotted a few alleged pictures of the front panel of the handset, showing off its bezelless design in white color.

From the pictures leaked today, Nubia Z11 seems to continue with the design language of the previous generation Nubia Z9. We can’t see any borders, confirming the bezelless design, so it will most likely feature the company’s patented aRC (arc Refractive Conduction) technology. Also, in one of the images where the Z9 is directly compared with the Z11, we can see that the top and the bottom bezels have also been reduced, further increasing the phone’s screen to body ratio.

As for the specs, it is said that the ZTE Nubia Z11 will come with Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The screen up front will most likely be from Sharp, much thinner than existing panels and will measure 5.2-inches diagonally. At the back, you can expect to see a 20.7MP rear camera while up front, a 13MP shooter. The phone should also come with a fingerprint sensor on board. As for the software, it should come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS right out of the box.

This would be the first smartphone from the company after SUNING invested in Nubia at the end of last year. Nubia is said to release the smartphone on January 18, which is just a couple of weeks away. So, we can expect a lot more information on the handset in the coming days.

ZTE unveiled the bezelless Nubia Z9 back in May this year. Given that its been more than six months since the launch of the device, we have started seeing leaks and rumors about its next generation version, most likely called as the ZTE Nubia Z11.

Earlier today, new renders of the Nubia Z11 surfaced online revealing a similar design as its previous generation. The display will be bezelless, thanks to the aRC (arc refractive conduction) technology and there will be a gold colored version of the device, as you can see in the picture below. The phone is said to come with same FiT (Fringe Interactive Technology) as its predecessor.

The specs of the device is going to be super high end. You can expect to see the new Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset under the hood with Adreno 530 on board and 4GB of RAM plus 128GB of internal storage. The display is expected to be of 5.2-inches with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. This translates into pixel density of 565 ppi. At the back, the Nubia Z11 is expected to come with a 20.7MP camera while up front, expect a 13MP shooter. The phone is expected to launch sometime early 2016, which would be less than a year after Z9’s launch.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any concrete proof to confirm these features. No TENAA listing or 3C certifications of the device till now, so you better take this news with a pinch of salt.
