This kit is specifically designed for mobile photography, with a focus on capturing celestial scenes. It includes a specially designed starlight phone case and two high-quality filters: the Starburst Filter and the Starry Night Filter, both compatible with the popular 67mm filter system.

This release coincides with Nubia’s 11th anniversary, underscoring their ongoing commitment to improving mobile device photography. The Starlight Imaging Kit exemplifies this dedication.

The Starry Night Filter effectively mitigates light pollution, ensuring clear and vibrant night skies or cityscapes by selectively filtering specific wavelengths. Meanwhile, the Twinkle Star Filter adds a playful Starburst effect to light sources in photos, enhancing their visual appeal.

The filters in the Starlight Imaging Kit are made with high-quality German SCHOTT optical glass and feature a dual-sided 22-layer ultra-low reflection coating, reducing reflectance to just 0.35%. They also come with aerospace-grade magnesium-aluminum alloy frames for durability and easy handling. This design not only protects the lens but also allows for quick and convenient filter changes.

The phone case in the kit is both functional and visually appealing, with a timeless sandstone finish that replicates the feel of a naked phone. Nubia Z50S Pro now also comes with 24GB RAM

The Nubia Z50S Pro was announced in China in July. At launch, the highest configuration available on this smartphone was 16GB + 1TB

Now, nearly three months later, the brand has quietly released a new variant with 24GB RAM. This version also comes with 1TB storage.

The new 24GB + 1TB variant of Nubia Z50S Pro is priced at ¥4,699 (~$645). This makes it ¥300 more expensive than the 16GB + 1TB which retails at ¥4,399 (~$605).

The phone can be also availed in 12GB + 1TB and 12GB + 256GB memory configurations, respectively. They are priced at ¥3,999 (~$550) and ¥3,699 (~$505), respectively./

The latest 24GB RAM model is currently up for pre-order on JD.com. It will be available for purchase starting October 11.

Almost all the high-performance smartphones released in 2023 have a 24GB RAM variant. This could be the reason why Nubia may have introduced this variant. But do we really need 24GB on phones? We tried to answer this question a few months back.

This cutting-edge device boasts an exquisite design and is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Advanced Edition SoC, ensuring top-notch performance. The Nubia Z50S features a sleek flat design for both its frame and back, giving it a modern and stylish appearance. The brand has confirmed to take the wraps off this phone later this week. Ahead of that, it has been teasing the features of the product.

Last week, ZTE‘s sub-brand Nubia confirmed that its next flagship smartphone called the Nubia Z50S Pro will be launching on July 20 in China. The device has already made appearances on Geekbench and 3C certification revealing key features like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 80W fast charging. Now, the brand has officially revealed images of the smartphone along with some other key specifications.

The images of the Nubia Z50S Pro showcase a boxy design with a double-textured rear panel. It has a leather pattern finish layered with AG glass for protection. The back of the phone prominently displays a circular camera module housing three camera lenses. Interestingly, the inscriptions on the camera island mention a 35mm lens. On the side of the device, there are three buttons positioned on the right side: a power button, a volume rocker, and what seems to be a dedicated button specifically for the camera shutter. These design elements strongly suggest that the Nubia Z50S Pro will offer a camera-centric experience.

The Nubia Z50S Pro is listed on Geekbench benchmarking platform and 3C certification website with model number NX713J. The former reveals a motherboard codenamed Kalama comprising of three cores clocked at 2.02GHz, four cores at 2.80GHz, and one core ticking at 3.36GHz. This corresponds to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno 740 GPU. The benchmark listing reveals 12GB RAM onboard and it will ship with Android 13 OS. We can also expect more RAM and storage configurations at launch.

In the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results, the Nubia Z50S Pro scores 1,564 and 5,115 points respectively. As for the 3C certification, the listing reveals that it will come with support for 80W fast charging.
