Ahead of its launch, the smartphone was<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/03/28/oneplus-10-pro-listed-online-ahead-of-march-31-launch/"> spotted</a> on a German retail website giving away its price. Now, the OnePlus forum reveals that the model that will debut in North America will differ in charging speeds as compared to the model that will launch in other markets.</p>
<p>The Oneplus 10 Pro in North America is touted to come with a 65W SuperVOOC fast charging support as opposed to the 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support on the global and Chinese models. This will be because the 80W SuperVOOC doesn&#8217;t support 110 or 120-volt AC power, which is standard in the North American market. That being said, the company has to go with the lower charging speed on the 10 Pro.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-437303 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 10 Pro hands-on featured 1" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-featured-1-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p>Also, in the North American regions, we do not see any super-fast charging support on any phones, so this charging speed would be still great. Just for comparison, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-5g/">Galaxy S22 Ultra</a> has a 45W fast charging speed and the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-13-pro-max/"> iPhone 13 Pro Max</a> gets up to a 27W fast charging speed.</p>
<p>Besides this, this time around, the OnePlus 10 Pro will also offer Hasselblad cameras. It has a 48MP IMX789 + 50MP ultra-wide + 8MP telephoto triple-rear camera system. The smartphone has 32MP selfie snapper.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-437301 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 10 Pro hands-on 06" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-hands-on-06-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p>It comes with a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1Hz to 120Hz variant refresh rate. It has a 3216 x 1440 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by the<a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-1"> Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC</a> paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Ahead of its<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/03/24/oneplus-10-pro-launch-scheduled-for-march-31-in-india-europe-and-north-america/"> March 31 launch</a>, the phone has been<a href="https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_oneplus-10-pro-128-gb-volcanic-black-dual-sim-2795047.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> listed</a> on a German retail website quoting its price.</p>
<p>MediaMarkt is a retail store from Germany and it has listed the OnePlus 10 Pro on its website. The flagship smartphone is priced at €899(~$988) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. To recall, the predecessor <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-9-pro/">OnePlus 9 Pro</a> was priced this much at its launch.</p>
<figure id="attachment_435665" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-435665" style="width: 565px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-435665" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/oneplus_10_pro.png?x44794" alt="oneplus 10 pro" width="565" height="565" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/oneplus_10_pro.png 700w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/oneplus_10_pro-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/oneplus_10_pro-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/oneplus_10_pro-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/oneplus_10_pro-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 565px) 100vw, 565px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-435665" class="wp-caption-text">OnePlus 10 Pro Volcano Black</figcaption></figure>
<p>Having the same launch price as the predecessor is great for new as well as existing OnePlus buyers. However, the company is yet to confirm its pricing officially, so do take the aforementioned price with a grain of salt.</p>
<p>Nonetheless, the listing also reveals the phone in the Volcanic Black color. We also expect it to come in a Green shade. Regarding its specs, the smartphone initially debuted in China with a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. It has a 1Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate, a 3216 x 1440 pixels resolution, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.</p>

The phone has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/hasselblad">Hasselblad</a> triple camera system at the rear with a 48MP IMX789 main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It has a 32MP selfie snapper on the front.</p>
<p>It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC and 50W AirVOOC fast charging support. The phone boots on Android 12 OS out of the box.</p>

Weeks after its release, the device was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/03/01/oneplus-10-pro-global-launch-confirmed-march/">confirmed</a> to go global this Spring. In India, the phone was touted to launch at the time of Holi but the launch date wasn&#8217;t tipped. Now, the tipster <a href="https://twitter.com/heyitsyogesh/status/1501425303855321088?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1501425303855321088%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mysmartprice.com%2Fgear%2Foneplus-10-pro-india-launch-date-tipped%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Yogesh Brar</em></a> has shared the launch date of the smartphone for the Indian market.</p>
<p>The tipster reveals that OnePlus will start teasing the OnePlus 10 Pro in India in the coming days. The device is tipped to launch either on March 22 or March 24. That being said, it isn&#8217;t too far until we finally see the OnePlus flagship in the country.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-438177 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus 10 Pro review featured 2" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2.png 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OnePlus-10-Pro-review-featured-2-747x420.png 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p>In terms of the pricing, there&#8217;s no official confirmation, but Brar reveals that the pricing looks good. The smartphone is expected to cost around Rs. 60,000(~$781) in India. For comparison, the newly launched<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iqoo-9-pro/"> iQOO 9 Pro</a> with similar specs sheet costs higher i.e. Rs. 69,990(~$911).</p>
<p>On the other hand, the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-edge-30-pro/"> Motorola Edge 30 Pro</a> with again a similar specs sheet comes at a lower price of Rs. 50,000(~$651). So if we go by the rumors, the 10 Pro will be priced as per the current market condition.</p>

<p>The OnePlus 10 Pro offers a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The screen has a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels and has Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It has a Hasselblad triple camera system at the rear with a 48MP IMX789 sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with 150-degree FOV, and lastly an 8MP 3.3x telephoto sensor with OIS. <p>Tipster <a href="https://twitter.com/MayankkumarYT/status/1476562342011834369" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mayank Kumar</a> has posted a teaser video featuring the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro on his Twitter account. The video features the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus-10-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">OnePlus 10 Pro</a> revealing its design which appears to be in line with recent renders of the device. The square Camera island located in the top left corner of the device features a triple-lens setup, which going by previous rumors should be the 48MP primary unit, a 50MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3.3x zoom.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-426816" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/OnePlus-10-Pro-Render-Leak-1-1024x775.jpeg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 10 Pro Render Leak" width="696" height="527" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/OnePlus-10-Pro-Render-Leak-1.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/OnePlus-10-Pro-Render-Leak-1-300x227.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/OnePlus-10-Pro-Render-Leak-1-768x581.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/OnePlus-10-Pro-Render-Leak-1-80x60.jpeg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/OnePlus-10-Pro-Render-Leak-1-696x527.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/OnePlus-10-Pro-Render-Leak-1-555x420.jpeg 555w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>A sensor with &#8220;P2D 50T&#8221; written on it is also present on the camera housing however, information is scarce on its functionality. The Hasselblad branding is also present on the camera module, indicating collaboration between OnePlus and Hasselblad for OnePlus 10 Pro&#8217;s cameras.</p>
<p>On the front panel, nothing looks notably different from the current-gen <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-9-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">OnePlus 9 Pro</a> and the phone is likely to retain the 6.7-inches curved panel with thin bezels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The punch hole in the upper left corner of the screen is likely to house a 32MP camera.</p>
<p>According to the specs spotted on a GeekBench listing, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Snapdragon 8 Gen 1</a> chipset and will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The device will run Android 12 out of the box and is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery with 125W fast charging support.</p>
<p>Previous leaks have hinted towards a January 4th, 2022 release but if this video is to be believed, the phone will get an official launch on January 11th.</p>
<p>The video appears to have first surfaced on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo but we have failed to locate its source and verify its legitimacy hence we advise you to take this information with a grain of salt.</p>

<p>The Geekbench appearance comes not too long after the model made an appearance on China 3C quality certification platform showing the device will come with 80W fast charging support. The device hits Geekbench with the model number NE2210 which is similar to that of the 3C website. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/oneplus-NE2210.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-434183" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/oneplus-NE2210.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus 10 Pro" width="755" height="968" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/oneplus-NE2210.png 755w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/oneplus-NE2210-234x300.png 234w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/oneplus-NE2210-696x892.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/oneplus-NE2210-328x420.png 328w" sizes="(max-width: 755px) 100vw, 755px" /></a></p>
<p>The listing shows the device will have 12 GB RAM and will run on the Android 12 operating system. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The device obtained a single-core score of 976 and a multi-core score of 3,469. The score is lower than the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro scores but the likely explanation is that this model may not have been optimized for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is also possible that the company may have underclocked the device in order to preserve the battery life.</p>

Today, the device has yet again passed one such certification, this time of the Chinese 3C authority. The 3C documents confirm that the phone will come with crazy-fast charging speeds.</p>
<p>As per the 3C certification, the OnePlus 10 Pro with model number NE2210 supports output of 7.3ampere at 11V. It translates to a whopping 80W fast charging speed. This is way faster than the predecessor phones. So far the fastest charging supported by the OnePlus devices is 65W. With the 80W fast charging speeds, the OnePlus 10 Pro will become the fastest charging OnePlus device.</p>

In terms of its other specs, the phone is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch punch-hole curved LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ resolution.</p>
<p>There will be a 50MP <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/hasselblad">Hasselblad-branded</a> triple rear camera system on the phone. It will boast a 32MP selfie shooter placed in the punch-hole cut-out of the screen. One of the highlights of the phone would be its processor. <p>In a Weibo post, the OnePlus CEO revealed that the smartphone will come with an LTPO 2.0 display which he touts to deliver a seamless display experience as a result of the new technology in use.</p>
<p>In case you don&#8217;t know, LTPO stands for Low-temperature polycrystalline oxide and it is a special type of OLED display backplane. This display technology allows displays to refresh at a flexible rate ranging between 1Hz and 120Hz. It also operates with a lower power need compared to the conventional LTPS OLED screens.</p>
<p>The OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to pack a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen which should be supplied by Samsung. The device will be powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. A triple camera setup is expected to be at the rear headlined by a 48MP main shooter and a 50MP ultrawide angle camera as well as an 8MP telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom. The device will cram a big 5,000 mAh battery under the hood with up to 80W fast charging support.</p>
