Over the last couple of weeks, we have covered a number of reports regarding the OnePlus 10T flagship smartphone model. And now, the launch date for the device is finally here, so let’s check out the places the company is hosting its in person event, as well as its livestream.

For those unaware, the launch event is set for later today (3rd August 2022), with the live conference starting at 10 AM in the US and 7:30 PM in India. Notably, the in person event is also being held at New York city as well as Bengaluru. Furthermore, these events will also be streamed live on YouTube, from the Chinese smartphone maker’s official YouTube channels. During this event, the brand will announce its highly anticipated second flagship smartphone model for 2022 along with OxygenOS 13.

Interestingly, the company was also set to host a launch event in its home market of China today as well. However, OnePlus took to Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website) to announce the postponement of this event. Unfortunately, it has yet to reveal the exact reason for the delayed launch, but it was set to announced the OnePlus Ace Pro model in China (which is basically the OnePlus 10T rebranded).

Talking about the device itself, the 10T model will sport a 6.7 inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device also houses a 4,660mAh battery pack that supports 150W fast charging. For photography, the phone will also feature a 50 megapixel triple camera setup on the rear. OnePlus 10T global launch set for August 3rd, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 confirmed

Earlier today, OnePlus dropped an official teaser of its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 10T. Now, the company’s co-founder and CEO Pete Lau has confirmed the global launch date of the device.

Pete made the official announcement with a OnePlus community forum post that states the device will be launching on August 3rd. Unlike the launch events of recent, the company will host an in-person event this time that will take place in Gotham Hall, New York City.

The post also confirmed that the device will debut with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and will be among the first devices from the brand to be upgraded to OxgenOS 13 when the operating system launches. Other than that, the brand promises that people who purchase a ticket for the offline event will get top-tier merchandise along with the OnePlus Nord Buds.

The leaks so far indicate that the OnePlus 10T will have a 6.7-inch curved E4 AMOLED display featuring a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz display, and LTPO technology.

It is confirmed to carry the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm node. The smartphone is rumored to debut with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will likely house a 4,800mAh battery unit paired with OPPO’s 150W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.

As for optics, we can expect the smartphone to have a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, the device will likely feature a 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

The Chinese smartphone maker shared a clever tweet on its official Twitter handle, which teased the launch of the 10T. For those unaware, this model is the brand’s latest high end smartphone and its launch is expected to be imminent. Looking at the tweet, the company shared an image that has 10 cups filled with tea, which simply means 10T. The device will launch with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and will feature a whopping 16GB of RAM.

Although, that model will likely be the top end storage variant. Apart from this, we also expect the smartphone to house 512GB of internal storage and a pervious listing on 3C revealed that the device will arrive with support for an impressive 160W fast charging as well. The battery in question is rumored to have a capacity of 4,800mAh and the 10T will likely run in Android 12 OS based OxygenOS out of the box.

OnePlus is gearing up to bring a new flagship, dubbed the OnePlus 10T, to India. The company has not shared any details regarding the launch. However, a new report suggests that the upcoming smartphone will launch in India on August 3. It has also been reported that the OnePlus smartphone will arrive in India in two color options – Jade green and Moonstone black. The OnePlus 10T 5G is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 16 GB of RAM, and a 4,800mAh battery with 150W charging support.

Tipster Passionategeekz, in association with MobilesTalk, has revealed that the OnePlus 10T 5G could make its way to the Indian market on August 3. However, it is not known if the global launch of the smartphone will also take place on the same day as India. The Chinese company is yet to make any official announcement regarding the launch of the smartphone.

Further, the report also reveals that the OnePlus 10T 5G will come in two colorways -Jade green and Moonstone black. It is reported that the Moonstone Black variant will come in the sole 16GB RAM model, while the Jade Green variant, on the other hand could come in lower storage models. The OnePlus smartphone will go on sale through Amazon.

As far as the cameras are concerned, it may sport a 50MP IMX766 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device is expected to have a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
