<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-11/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus 11</a> is currently available for pre-order in China and will go on sale for the first time on January 9. Li Jie, the president of OnePlus China, started connecting with the OnePlus fans once the device became available for pre-order.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="784" height="572" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-1-1.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-506807" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-1-1.png 784w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-1-1-300x219.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-1-1-768x560.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-1-1-696x508.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-1-1-576x420.png 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-1-1-324x235.png 324w" sizes="(max-width: 784px) 100vw, 784px" /></figure>

<p>Li Jie shared in a Weibo post that the OnePlus 11 has achieved the fastest sales record in the company&#8217;s history in just two hours. The OnePlus China president also shared some words of gratitude for customers and fans of the brand.</p>

<p>However, this post&#8217;s most interesting information is tucked away in the comment section. One Weibo user wrote in the post&#8217;s comments that he would be tempted to purchase the OP11 if there was no Pro model available. In response, Li Jie claimed that the OP11 had come in its place and that there was no OnePlus 11 Pro.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="783" height="254" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-3-1.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-506808" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-3-1.png 783w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-3-1-300x97.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-3-1-768x249.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/image-3-1-696x226.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 783px) 100vw, 783px" /></figure></div>

<p>This statement is in line with previous reports claiming that OnePlus won&#8217;t be launching a Pro model of its flagship series this year. Considering the fact that the company only launched the OnePlus 10 Pro last year, without releasing a vanilla variant, this tactic is nothing new from the company.</p>

<h2><strong>OnePlus 11 Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The OnePlus 11 has a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED Quad HD+ display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The phone boasts a 16MP front-facing camera and three cameras on the back: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP telephoto lens with OIS.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-1024x536.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus 11" class="wp-image-506772" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-1024x536.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-300x157.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-768x402.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-696x364.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-1068x559.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-803x420.png 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>OnePlus 11</figcaption></figure>

<p>A 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU power this gadget. It has up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Other features it offers include IP54-rated chassis, Gorilla Glass 5, Android 13 OS, and ColorOS 13.</p>

<p>Every year, <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tags/oneplus">OnePlus</a> updates its flagship series by releasing a new lineup of flagship smartphones. The company is now preparing to release its next flagship smartphone, likely the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-11-pro/">OnePlus 11 Pro</a>. Qualcomm recently held an event where the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen2 smartphone chipset was officially unveiled. Soon after, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/11/16/oneplus-11-will-be-among-the-first-smartphones-to-be-powered-by-snapdragon-8-gen-2-soc/">OnePlus stated that its future flagship smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s newest Snapdragon flagship CPU</a>. However, the brand did not specify which particular device they were referring to.</p>

<p>Anyway, going back to the main headline, known tipster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo has confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 11 will feature a complete ceramic build with a metal frame. It will be the first flagship offering by the brand to offer this level of premium build. Further, he says that the device will offer the support for latest USB 4.0 storage. The USB 4.0 is twice as fast as the USB 3.1, with claimed read and write speeds at up to 4200MB/s and 2800MB/s respectively.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="526" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72-1024x526.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus" class="wp-image-496974" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72-1024x526.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72-300x154.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72-768x395.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72-696x358.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72-1068x549.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72-817x420.png 817w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/image-72.png 1395w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Furthermore, tipster <a href="https://twitter.com/MaxJmb/status/1593656189065302018?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1593656189065302018%7Ctwgr%5Eaac4bd0b62f7d7c7ee6c232035942911d261d24f%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.xda-developers.com%2Foneplus-11-pro-leak-ceramic-body-ufs-4-storage%2F" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Max Jambor</a> reports that these features will be unavailable on the standard OnePlus 11. According to him, the OnePlus 11 Pro will have a superior ceramic body, and the USB 4.0 storage type will be shared by both the OnePlus 11 and 11 Pro smartphones. So, this is how the unreleased OnePlus 11 flagship smartphones will differentiate between Pro and non-Pro varieties.</p>

<p>Going through the previous leaks, the OnePlus 11 is said to offer a 6.7-inches AMOLED panel with QuadHD+ pixel resolution and up to 120Hz fast refresh rate support. The device is said to offer up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard internal storage. It will feature a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 48-megapixels secondary ultrawide and a 32-megapixels 2X telephoto lens. On the front, it will have a 32-megapixels selfie snapper. The integration of Hasselblad will be present in the camera department.</p>

Now, the latest leak reveals interesting details regarding the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus-11-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">OnePlus 11 Pro</a>, which might just be the base 11 model.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-488890 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OnePlus-11-Pro-1.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus 11 Pro" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OnePlus-11-Pro-1.png 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OnePlus-11-Pro-1-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OnePlus-11-Pro-1-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OnePlus-11-Pro-1-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></p>
<p>Earlier this year, the Chinese smartphone maker had launched the OnePlus 10 Pro as its first flagship model, with no base model to ever be released. However, a new report suggests that the brand will launch the OnePlus 11 this year. But this model will feature top notch specs and features that would&#8217;ve typically been found on a Pro variant, or possibly the OnePlus 11 Pro. The news arrives from known tipster Max Jambor who stated on Twitter that &#8220;The upcoming OnePlus Pro model is called OnePlus 11.&#8221;</p>
<p>In other words, the base 11 model will likely be the company&#8217;s true flagship model for at least the first half of next year. So similar to last year, one of the models will be missing, but this year it&#8217;s the OnePlus 11 Pro variant. As of right now, the new premium grade handset is expected to be unveiled sometime around the same launch period as the 10 Pro model in 2022. So we can expect a January 2023 launch.</p>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true">
<p lang="en" dir="ltr">The upcoming OnePlus Pro model is called OnePlus 11.</p>
<p>&mdash; Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) <a href="https://twitter.com/MaxJmb/status/1581895819044659200?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 17, 2022</a></p></blockquote>
<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>Apart from this, there is also a possibility that the OnePlus 11 might be the first flagship for 2023 that features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Following this release, the second half might see the 11 Pro launch with the refreshed Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation so take this report with a pinch of salt for now and stay tuned for more updates.</p>

<h3><b>OnePlus 11 Pro</b></h3>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">As per </span><a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/oneplus-11-pro-specifications-exclusive/"><span style="font-weight: 400">91Mobiles</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, the OnePlus 10 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen bearing QHD+ resolution, a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner, and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, it remains unclear whether the display will have curved edges. The device is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The OnePlus 11 Pro’s triple rear camera setup will comprise a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP 2x telephoto unit. There will be a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper. It’s no doubt that the upcoming offering will also come with Hasselblad camera technology. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Under the hood, the OnePlus 11 Pro will reportedly be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This is also in line with Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station’s report that OnePlus is working on a flagship phone with the mentioned chipset. Qualcomm is expected to announce the SoC at the Snapdragon Tech Summit in November. 91Mobiles adds that the OnePlus 11 Pro could come with a base of 8GB RAM, 128GB storage with the top-end model packing 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is tipped to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for up to 100W fast charging. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Other features expected on the OnePlus 11 Pro include Dolby Atmos, 5G, WiFi-6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB-C port. The smartphone will likely ship with Android 13 OS out of the box. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">As for the leaked renders, the OnePlus 11 Pro is tipped to come with a redesigned camera module featuring a half pill-shaped border that stretches from the side frame to the middle of the back panel. It houses a circular camera bump with three sensors and an LED flash. The alert slider that was missing on the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus 10T will also make a comeback on the 11 Pro.</span></p>

Tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post yesterday to claim that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered OnePlus flagship, which is believed to be the OnePlus 11 Pro 5G, will debut <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/09/07/oneplus-11-pro-5g-with-snapdragon-8-gen-2-likely-to-launch-by-2022-end/">by the end of this year in China</a>. It will be competing with the likes of other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship phones in the domestic market. Another tipster <a href="https://weibo.com/5609829195/M4GgZm1Xl?from=page_1005055609829195_profile&amp;wvr=6&amp;mod=weibotime&amp;ssl_rnd=1662615729.8059&amp;type=comment">claimed</a> today that the OnePlus 11 Pro 5G will outperform the OPPO Find X6 Pro in some areas.</p>
<p>It is speculated that the OnePlus 11 Pro 5G will impress in departments like performance and design. The new leak claims that the OnePlus 11 Pro will have some features that will be unavailable on the Find X6 Pro. It seems that the tipster is saying that the OnePlus 11 Pro may outperform the Find X6 Pro in departments like performance, charging, and internal cooling.</p>

<p>The OnePlus 11 Pro and Find X6 Pro are expected to feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> chipset. Since OnePlus is already offering 16 GB of RAM on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-10t/">OnePlus 10T</a> (known as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-pro/">OnePlus Ace Pro</a> in China), it is likely that the 11 Pro may also come in a 16 GB RAM variant.</p>
<p>The 11 Pro is also likely to come equipped with 150W SuperVOOC charging, which was made available on the 10T.  On the other hand, the Find X6 Pro may continue to feature 12 GB of RAM and 80W charging like its predecessor.</p>
<p>The rumour mill is yet to spill concrete information on the specs of the OnePlus 11 Pro 5G. However, it is likely to come equipped with a Quad HD+ 120Hz OLED display with curved edges, an alert slider, Hasselblad camera optimizations, and a big battery.</p>
