OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 for users in India. The update is now available for the OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus 12R. As with previous updates, this is an incremental OTA and will first reach a small number of users before expanding to a wider rollout over the next few days.

For the OnePlus 11, the update focuses on small usability changes and security improvements. In Drawer mode, app categorization has been improved with the addition of two new categories called Office and Finance. These categories are meant to make it easier to find work-related and finance apps without scrolling through long app lists. The update also includes the February 2026 Android security patch, which fixes known security issues and improves overall system safety.

Privacy-related features have also been updated on the OnePlus 11. Users can now browse files stored in Private Safe by sliding the side slider. It is also possible to search for files directly within folders inside Private Safe. In addition, files stored in Private Safe can now be shared without moving them to another location, making secure file handling quicker and more practical.

The OnePlus 12R receives a different set of changes focused on charging and battery use. OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 adds a new bypass charging feature. When the phone is used for gaming, video streaming, live streaming, navigation, or other high-load tasks, users can connect the charger and enable bypass charging. This allows the phone to draw power directly from the charger instead of the battery, which helps reduce heat and battery wear during heavy use. The OnePlus 12R also receives the February 2026 Android security patch.

Like the OnePlus 11, the 12R gains the same Private Safe improvements. Users can browse files using the side slider, search for files within Private Safe folders, and share files directly from Private Safe.

Storage and Photos

You can now access storage cleanup directly from the Smart Sidebar instead of digging through menus. The Photos app got several updates. It automatically straightens portrait and architectural photos when you crop or rotate them. Thumbnails load faster now. Three new filters were added: Motion Photo, Screenshots and screen recordings, and Edited.

Video Editing

The video editor lets you cut, split, and stitch clips together. You can add music and text, change playback speed, and crop footage without needing another app.

Home Screen Changes

You can stack 2×1 widgets to save space. After resizing an app icon and adding shortcuts, you can rearrange those shortcuts by dragging them. App clone icons can be resized by dragging, and you can add shortcuts the same way.

System Updates

Circle to Search works better now. Even if you hide the gesture bar, you can still launch it by touching and holding where the bar normally sits. Private Safe now lets you edit photos and videos stored inside without unlocking them first.

Security

Phone Manager shows a popup asking you to allow automatic blocklist updates over Wi-Fi and mobile data. This improves how well it detects and blocks threats.

Storage cleanup tools are now accessible directly from Smart Sidebar, making it easier to free up space on your device without digging through settings.

The Photos app can automatically straighten portrait and architectural photos when you crop or rotate them. Video editing got a major upgrade with support for cutting, splitting, multi-clip stitching, adding music and text, adjusting speed, and cropping. You can now filter photos using “Motion Photo,” “Screenshots & screen recordings,” and “Edited” options. The app also loads thumbnails faster thanks to improved parsing.

After resizing app icons and adding shortcut icons, you can drag and drop them to rearrange their position. This also works for app clone icons. The update lets you stack 2×1 widgets on your home screen to use space better.

Circle to Search works better with gesture navigation now. You can activate it by touching and holding the area where the gesture bar normally appears, even when the bar is hidden.

The December 2025 Android security patch is included in this update. You can now edit images and videos in Private Safe without unlocking them first. OxygenOS 16 introduces major changes to animations, performance, AI features, visuals, and system controls. The new Parallel Processing upgrade brings smoother transitions across system apps. Icons, widgets, folders, and the Smart Sidebar now react with cleaner drag and drop behavior. The text selection magnifier fades in and out more naturally. The status bar shifts smoothly when pulling down the notification shade or Quick Settings, and the gesture can be stopped midway. Audio controls in Quick Settings have new animations, and app opening and closing in button navigation feels more consistent. Charging and fingerprint effects now use light wave patterns, and scrolling has been tuned for better precision.

Power saving mode now changes performance based on battery percentage.

Notes adds block editing, side by side image viewing, link sharing for full notes, new highlights, and more formatting. Recorder gets AI noise reduction, automatic meeting or lecture detection, a new layout, and link sharing for audio, transcripts, and summaries. Writer generates more content types and can create mind maps and tables. VoiceScribe improves call summaries with better context handling.

The interface gains new light field visuals, Aurora effects, live weather animations, redesigned Clock, Calculator, and Compass apps, and a new fingerprint animation. Flux Home brings updated icon styles, more folder layouts, text free icons, reorganized settings, category based Drawer mode, a new search bar position, improved suggestions, customizable widget names, adjustable clocks, Lock screen text options, and wallpaper-matched icon styles including Dark mode sets.

Connectivity upgrades include Touch to Share, improved OnePlus Connect with PC multi window support, cross device clipboard, grouped Device Connect settings, better car Bluetooth pairing, a new My Devices center with matching widgets, and enhanced AI LinkBoost. Users can also share phone Wi Fi with a tablet.

The OnePlus 15 is not just another annual refresh. It’s a significant shift in OnePlus’s design philosophy, hardware execution, and display ambition. Compared to its predecessors, the OnePlus 11, 12, and 13, the new flagship moves beyond spec bumps and leans heavily into redefining the display experience, thermal engineering, and battery architecture, while carrying forward OnePlus’s hallmark camera and performance DNA. Here’s how it stacks up.

Display

The OnePlus 11 launched with a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display using Samsung’s LTPO 3.0 panel. It supported HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The OnePlus 12 and 13 followed with a 6.82-inch BOE 2K+ panel that reached up to 4,500 nits peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming for reduced flicker. Both models received DisplayMate A++ ratings and featured Crystal Shield ceramic protection.

OnePlus 15 moves to a slightly smaller 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display but adds several industry-first technologies. Performance & Cooling

The OnePlus 11 used Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, paired with UFS 4.0 storage. It had a redesigned heat dissipation system with improved graphite layers. OnePlus 12 adopted Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and improved the vapor chamber area to 9140mm². The OnePlus 13 went further with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a larger 9925mm² VC chamber.

OnePlus 15 steps up with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a new Glacier Cooling System. This system uses tearable steel material and aerospace-grade aerogel. OnePlus claims a 43% increase in vapor-liquid area and double the capillary absorption rate. The device features Android’s first “Touch Display Sync” for better touch accuracy and reduced gyro latency. The new G2 gaming network chip also reduces latency by 65.85% and improves update and video transmission speeds.

Design

The OnePlus 11 introduced a black hole-inspired design and silk glass. The OnePlus 12 adopted a luxury watch-inspired “Time Design” and shifted the alert slider to the left side for better antenna performance. The OnePlus 13 introduced new textures like ebony wood grain glass, and velvet leather.

OnePlus 15 features a more structural design shift with its Dune Aesthetic. It uses a metal cube deco layout with precise weight distribution and 1.15mm equilateral bezels for a balanced look and feel.

The phone supports IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for durability and includes a high-performance X-axis motor and dual stereo speakers.

Camera

OnePlus 11 debuted with a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor and 32MP 2x telephoto camera. The OnePlus 12 upgraded to the Sony LYT-808 and included a 64MP 3x periscope lens. The OnePlus 13 carried over the LYT-808 but used a new LYT600 periscope module and Hasselblad camera system.

OnePlus 15 switches to Oppo’s LUMO Condensed Light Imaging system. It features a triple 50MP setup with a Sony IMX906 sensor for the main camera, a 116° ultra-wide lens, and a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens. Features include 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video, up to 8K video recording, ultra-clear Live Photos, and AI-powered portrait lighting. The front camera remains 32MP with 4K 60fps support.

Battery & Charging

OnePlus 11 came with a 5000mAh battery and 100W fast charging. The OnePlus 12 raised capacity to 5400mAh and introduced 50W wireless charging. The OnePlus 13 improved energy density with a 6000mAh battery and added support for magnetic charging.

OnePlus 15 leads the series with a 7300mAh Glacier Battery. It supports 120W Super Flash Charge and 50W wireless charging. OnePlus claims that 5 minutes of charging can deliver 6 hours of streaming and 5000mAh can be charged in just 13 minutes. The phone also uses USB 3.2 Gen1 for faster data transfer and better thermal management during charging.

Conclusion

OnePlus 15 represents the biggest generational leap since the OnePlus 11. It introduces meaningful upgrades across display technology, thermal design, gaming features, and battery life.

While the OnePlus 12 and 13 focused on refining the premium formula with better cameras and brighter screens, the OnePlus 15 rebuilds the flagship identity with new materials, display science, and performance standards. Multitasking has been improved. On the recent tasks screen, swiping down on a stacked app changes its lock status. Split View can now be adjusted freely instead of fixed ratios. When two apps are open in landscape mode, the divider can be dragged to resize their display.

Notifications in landscape mode are now simplified. They appear as smaller banner notifications positioned to reduce distractions. Swiping down on a banner opens the app in a floating window. Tapping a button on the banner also opens the app in a floating window instead of full screen.

The update also adds BeaconLink, a feature that allows text, image, and voice messages to be sent to nearby devices without internet. It is available under Settings > Mobile network > BeaconLink.

On the system side, the update integrates the August 2025 Android security patch to improve device protection.

To accommodate these models as well, OnePlus’ green line worry-free solution with a lifetime warranty is applicable to every device from the brand, including the latest OnePlus 13 model.

OnePlus has begun rolling out its latest Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 11, its second major update as it launched with Android 13 onboard. It is expected to receive at least two more Android versions in the future.

Initially available in the India (IN) region, the update will expand to North America (NA) and Europe (EU) within three weeks, pending smooth implementation.

The update introduces a new graphics engine for smoother animations and transitions during multitasking and app switching. Swipe gestures are now consistent across the system, including third-party apps, ensuring uniform navigation.

Photography features are improved with AI Retouch, which sharpens blurred images, removes reflections, and improves color accuracy. Live Photos capture three seconds of motion, and reversible editing allows adjustments without losing previous edits.

Samsung Galaxy S22 is a solid flagship phone from 2022. It’s packed with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, a high-quality screen, and stunning triple rear cameras. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro give you seven years of software updates, including Android OS, feature drops, and security maintenance releases. The Galaxy S22, on the other hand, only offers four Android upgrades.

The Moto G Stylus (2024) is a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S22 Ultra with stylus support. It has a slightly smaller display than the S22 Ultra but bigger than the vanilla S22. OnePlus 11 (full review) is another solid alternative to the Galaxy S22. It rocks a more powerful chip, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and a bigger AMOLED screen with a higher resolution. The OnePlus smartphone also comes with faster storage and a more recent version of Android OS.

Apple and Samsung have been fierce competitors for years, and hence, it makes sense to include iPhones in the list. And it’s the only non-Android brand if you want to make the switch.

OnePlus Nord 4 is a solid mid-range phone featuring a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, a 50MP dual rear camera setup, and a massive 5,000mAh battery — the highest ever on a OnePlus phone — with 100W superfast charging.

The base variant of the OnePlus Nord 4 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage smartphone currently sells for Rs. 29,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 32,999. The top-of-the-line 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 35,999. While the OnePlus Nord offers solid value, there are alternatives in the same price range that provide even more features and better performance.

Xiaomi 14 Civi (review) stands out as a premium mid-range option, and arguably the best alternative to the OnePlus Nord 4.

It’s a 6.55-inch compact phone with a higher resolution and peak brightness. Unlike the OnePlus Nord 4, the Xiaomi 14 Civi comes with the added durability of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

When it comes to cameras, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is miles ahead of the Nord 4. Although both phones are capable of 4K recording, the output quality is a lot better on the Xiaomi 14 Civi.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi has dual selfie cameras — a 32MP primary sensor and a 32MP ultrawide sensor, while the Nord 4 has a single 16MP camera. You can record 4K selfie videos on the Xiaomi phone but not on the Nord 4.

The battery and charging specs are better on the OnePlus Nord 4, though. Another plus point for this phone is the software support. While Xiaomi promises 3 Android upgrades and 4 years of security updates, the OnePlus Nord 4 guarantees an additional Android upgrade and 2 extra years of security updates.

2. Vivo T3 Ultra

This Vivo phone has a slightly bigger screen, more resolutions, and a higher peak brightness than the OnePlus Nord 4. It also has Schott Xensation Alpha protection and a better IP rating, so you’ll have a good experience with the Vivo T3 Ultra’s display, even outdoors.

Although both smartphones run Android 14 out of the box, the Vivo phone has a disappointing update policy. The OnePlus Nord 4 will get four Android updates and six years of security updates, while the Vivo T3 Ultra only promises two Android upgrades and three years of security patches.

The selfie cameras have different resolutions, though. The Nord 4 features a 16MP sensor, while the T3 Ultra boasts a 50MP selfie camera. Additionally, the Vivo phone supports 4K video recording with its rear and front cameras, whereas the Nord 4’s selfie camera lacks this capability.

Both phones have a maximum battery capacity of 5,000mAh. However, the Nord 4 supports a faster charging of 100W (vs. 80W on the Vivo T3 Ultra).

3. Poco F6

The Poco F6 (review) might be an excellent buy if you prioritize performance over anything else. It has a screen size and resolution similar to the Nord 4 but a higher peak brightness. OnePlus Nord 4, however, has a better IP rating, but the Poco F6 gives you additional protection using Gorilla Glass Victus. Overall, both have excellent displays with minor differences.

You start noticing the difference when you perform tasks that require a lot of processing, such as gaming or video editing. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 powering the OnePlus Nord 4 is a sound chip but can’t match the performance level of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

Both smartphones come with Android 14 out of the box, but the OnePlus Nord 4 gets an extra Android OS upgrade. Both have a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, you get a 20MP camera (vs. 16MP on the Nord 4).

Both OnePlus Nord 4 and Poco F6 support 4K video recording, though selfie recording is limited to 1080p. However, the Nord 4 has the edge when it comes to battery capacity and charging speed.

4. Vivo V30 Pro

For those seeking good camera performance, the Vivo V30 Pro might be a good option. It has a powerful rear camera setup that includes three sensors: a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 119-degree field of view.

The selfie camera on the V30 Pro also has 50MP resolution. The device can record up to 4K videos using the rear and selfie cameras. The camera performance is excellent that the Nord 4 can’t match.

5. Realme GT 6

It’s a solid alternative to the OnePlus Nord 4, but you’ll have to loosen your pocket a little more. The Realme GT 6 has a bigger display with more pixels and significantly higher peak brightness. It also has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, which is lacking on the Nord 4.

The Realme device is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, which is more powerful and efficient than the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip inside the OnePlus Nord.

6. OnePlus 11

Rather than the Nord 4, you can grab the OnePlus 11 (review) for a better display, performance, and camera quality.

The OnePlus 11 has an LTPO3 AMOLED panel, which supports variable refresh rates. It has a higher resolution and features Gorilla Glass Victus protection, although the peak brightness is better on the Nord 4.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 fuels the OnePlus 11, which offers better performance and stability than the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3-powered Nord 4. So, you’ll have a better gaming experience on the OnePlus 11.

As for the software updates, both smartphones are promised four Android upgrades, though the OnePlus Nord 4 gets an additional year of security updates.

The OnePlus 11 has a better camera setup than the Nord 4, which takes good photos and videos. It features a triple camera setup on the back, which includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 32MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultrawide sensor. Nothing Phone 2 stands out from the crowd because of its design, mainly the Glyph UI. If you want to test out some innovation in an otherwise boring market, the Phone 2 could be a good option.

The smartphone uses an LTPO OLED panel but has a lower resolution and peak brightness than the OnePlus Nord 4. It’s protected using Gorilla Glass 5, which is lacking on the other phone.

OnePlus just released the July 2024 security patch for OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12. The update is now available for OnePlus 11 users in India and North America, while OnePlus 12 users in India, Europe, and global regions can also get it.

This new OxygenOS update focuses solely on the July 2024 security patch, with no changes to the interface or system features. OnePlus announced on their official Community forum that the updates are still in roll-out phase. If you haven’t received the update yet, don’t worry—it will be available to all devices gradually. Xiaomi 14 Civi was launched recently, focusing primarily on cameras. It’s a flagship smartphone from the Chinese brand powered by a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.

With the Xiaomi 14 Civi, the brand aims to capture the sub-Rs 50,000 category. No doubt, it’s a good smartphone at the price point. However, there are some great alternatives to this phone from other brands with comparable or better specs.

Both are high-performance flagship chipsets that can smoothly handle processing needs for most people. They have comparable CPU performance. However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has better GPU performance. So, naturally, you can expect better gaming performance on the Galaxy S23.

OnePlus 11 was released last year, though it’s still a great alternative to many flagship phones launched this year, including the Xiaomi 14 Civi.

The smartphone has a slightly bigger screen and more pixels per inch (PPI) than the Xiaomi 14 Civi. Both smartphones support HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate, although the Xiaomi phone has more colours and higher peak brightness.

At the core of the OnePlus 11 is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is less powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (in the Xiaomi 14 Civi), specifically the GPU performance. As a result, the OnePlus 11 handles gaming better than the Xiaomi 14 Civi.

Notably, the 128GB version of the OnePlus 11 supports UFS 3.1, but higher models support UFS 4.0. So, if you care too much about the performance, consider UFS 4.0.

The camera arrangement on the OnePlus 11 is similar to the Xiaomi 14 Civi, although it blends with the frame on the OnePlus 11. The OnePlus 11 packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging. According to the brand, it only takes 10 minutes to reach 50% and 25 minutes to 100%. In comparison, the Xiaomi 14 Civi has a lesser battery capacity and supports 67W fast charging only.

3. Vivo X80

Vivo X80 looks strong on the spec sheet and has a similar pricing as that of the Xiaomi 14 Civi. The smartphone has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate support and 1500 nits of peak brightness (half of the peak brightness on Xiaomi 14 Civi).

The Vivo phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, whereas the Xiaomi 14 Civi has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Both are octa-core chips fabricated on a TSMC’s 4 nm process node and look similar on benchmarks.

The giant rear camera module on the Vivo X80 includes a 50MP primary sensor (OIS, f/1.8 aperture, 1/1.49″ sensor), a 12MP telephoto lens (f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.93″ sensor, 2x optical zoom), and a 12MP ultrawide lens (f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.93″ sensor).

The Vivo X80 can record up to 4K videos using its rear cameras and 1080p videos using the 32MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The battery capacity is slightly lesser on the Vivo X80 but the charging speed is higher compared to the Xiaomi 14 Civi.

4. OnePlus 12R

OnePlus 12R is another smartphone that is a good alternative to the Xiaomi 14 Civi.

Though not as extensive as Samsung’s offering, the update adds three generative AI features.

First up, there’s an AI Summarizer that can generate summaries of phone calls with key information like time, location, and other relevant details.

Next up is the AIGC Remover, an image editor that lets you erase unwanted people or objects from your photos, similar to AI photo editing on Samsung and Google Pixel devices.

Finally, OnePlus is offering an Article Summarizer feature that provides quick summaries of articles with just a single tap. 

Beyond AI, the update also offers the ability to unlock the phone with the fingerprint scanner without waking the screen. Users can now control QQ Music on Always-On Display, and there is an option to display the screen recording indicator in the status bar or a floating window.

After OnePlus launched the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 3 update for the OnePlus 11 last month, it is now time for the fourth beta build. As per the official announcement over at the OnePlus Community, participation in the Open Beta 4 will be open from November 3rd for Indian users. The update will also be available for NA users. Here are all the details.

How to Apply:

India: It is essential to make sure your phone is updated to the detectable version, either CPH2447_13.1.0.596(EX01) or CPH2447_13.1.0.595(EX01). To apply, navigate to your phone’s Settings, select “About device,” tap “Up to date,” click on the icon at the top right, go to “Beta program,” and follow the provided steps. Once the application channel is closed, OnePlus will review your application within 5 working days. If your application is successful, you will receive the new version within 3 workdays. To download the new version after your application is approved, go to Settings, select “About device,” and click on “Download Now.”

North America: For users in North America, OnePlus will offer two versions: MP (Stable Official version) and OBT (Open Beta version). If you wish to upgrade from MP to OBT, please ensure that your device is running the designated OxygenOS 13.1 version, either CPH2451_13.1.0.590(EX01) or CPH2451_13.1.0.591(EX01). Prior to initiating the upgrade, make sure to back up your data. Here’s how to proceed:

1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
2. Copy the upgrade package to your phone’s storage.
3. Install the provided APK, which is necessary for the update process. Open the app, tap on the top right gear icon, locate the upgrade package, and tap it. Wait for the installation to finish, and then tap “reboot.”
4. After the upgrade is complete, click “Restart” to ensure the update is successful.

It fixes several bugs, including a fix for the Dark Mode toggle on the Play Store, and “The System Interface Irresponsible” error while using the Play Store. OnePlus Nord CE 2 and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G are receiving OxygenOS 13 F.50 and OxygenOS 13 C.32 firmware updates in India. The update is now live and may reach all the units within the next few days to weeks.

The users in India can submit bugs via Google Dialer by typing *#800#.

All the updates are staggered rollouts and may take some time to reach every unit of the respective smartphones. We suggest waiting or manually checking the update by heading to the smartphone’s settings.

OnePlus is rolling out OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta and Open Beta for compatible smartphones. The users who have participated in respective programs can enjoy the OxygenOS 14. OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1: How to apply

To apply for OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1, you’ll want to follow a few simple steps during the application period, which begins on September 12 and will remain open until the application limit of 5,000 users is reached. First, ensure that your device is currently running the detectable version, either CPH2447_13.1.0.590(EX01) or CPH2447_13.1.0.591(EX01).

Next, access the application form by navigating to your device’s settings menu. Start by tapping on “Settings,” then select “About device.” Look for the “up to date” option and click on it. In the top right corner, you’ll find an icon; select it. Within this menu, you should see an option for the “Beta program.” Click on it and follow the provided steps to complete your application.

Once you’ve submitted your application, OnePlus will review it within 5 workdays after the application channel’s closure. If your application is approved, you can expect to receive the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 version within 3 workdays. After approval, to download the version, simply go to your device’s settings, select “About device,” and look for the “Download Now” option. This will enable you to access and install the new beta version.

Google is expected to release Android 14 stable this month. Thus, partner OEMs have kickstarted their beta programs.

Oppo is one of the first Chinese OEMs other than Xiaomi to announce the Android 14 public beta testing initiative. The company has included 3 devices in the first batch.

Two of these phones are Oppo-branded, while the third one is OnePlus-branded. Let’s go through the details.

According to official announcement posts on Oppo and OnePlus community forums, the brands started recruiting Android 14 closed beta testers for three handsets in China yesterday. The registration window closes today itself.

Applicants will be selected within 5 working days from the end of recruitment. Selected candidates will receive the beta software via OTA update within the next 3 working days.

The following devices are currently part of the Android 14-based ColorOS beta program.

• Oppo Find X6 Pro
• Oppo Reno 9 Pro
• OnePlus 11

Interestingly, the vanilla Oppo Find X6 is not included in the first batch. Similarly, instead of the latest Reno 10 Pro Plus, the Reno 9 Pro is given higher priority.

Though the aforementioned smartphones will be added to the beta program later, it is just weird to not see them in the first batch. Also, Oppo hasn’t officially revealed anything about ColorOS 14 yet.

Since the Android 14 public beta program is now underway, Oppo may start teasing ColorOS 14 features in the coming days. Perhaps, the software could get announced at the Oppo Find N3 launch event later this month.

OnePlus US has listed the OnePlus 11 Genshin Impact Custom Gift Box set for $799.99 on its website. The package will include a Titan Black color OnePlus 11 5G smartphone with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. In comparison, the regular OnePlus 11 5G costs $749.99 in the US.

The update comes with a firmware version of CPH2447_13.1.0.580(EX01), implying that this is meant for Indian users. It carries the latest June 2023 Android security patch along with improvements to cellular network connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, and WiFi. According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming OnePlus 11 Genshin Impact limited edition is a result of an in-depth collaboration. For the unaware, the previous two such devices from OnePlus are based on Ace Pro and Ace 2.

OnePlus has established a tradition of releasing special edition devices inspired by the popular game Genshin Impact in China. Previous models such as the OnePlus Ace 2, OnePlus Ace Pro, and OnePlus 9R have all received limited edition variants themed around the game. It is highly likely that the OnePlus 11 will also receive a special edition device inspired by Genshin Impact.

According to a tweet by tipster Max Jambro, the OnePlus 11 Genshin Impact Limited Edition is scheduled to launch in June. While the exact appearance of the device is currently unknown, it is expected to follow the trend of previous editions by featuring a design inspired by a character from the game. The limited edition package is likely to include a box set with various collectibles such as figurines, cards, and themed hardware.
