OnePlus recently teased that a new red color variant of the OnePlus 11R will launch in India soon. The brand has now confirmed that the new color option will debut on October 7.

OnePlus 11R red color variant details

The red color option will officially be called the OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red Edition. It features a vegan leather back with a stitch pattern going down the sides. Back in April, OnePlus launched this color option for the OnePlus Ace 2 Genshin Impact Limited Edition. That being said, we don’t expect the 11R 5G to be customized with a Genshin-themed UI.

In addition to the design, the smartphone will feature a whopping 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. You can take a look at the spec sheet below.

OnePlus 11R specs

The OnePlus 11R 5G features a 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,450 nits. It incorporates an integrated fingerprint scanner and supports HDR10+.

The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro unit, and a 16MP front-facing camera.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and features LPDDR5 RAM. To prevent overheating during intensive tasks, it incorporates an eight-channel VC cooling system. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. It runs on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 for a customizable user experience.
