The smartphone is confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset at its core, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It will run Android 16 out of the box and receive three generations of Android upgrades.

On the rear side, it will have three 50MP sensors. The primary camera uses Sony’s LYTIA 710 sensor, which is paired with an ultrawide unit and a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The selfie camera also has a 50MP resolution.

OnePlus is gearing up to launch the Nord 6 series in India. Reports have revealed that the Nord 6 and Nord CE 6 have the model numbers CPH2793 and CPH2805, respectively. These devices have already received India’s BIS certification, which is one of the prerequisites to launch a phone in the Indian market. In a new development, a new OnePlus phone has been approved by India’s BIS. While there is no concrete evidence to support the claim, this could be the forthcoming OnePlus 15s.

As can be seen above, a forthcoming OnePlus phone with model number CPH2943 has surfaced in the database of India’s BIS certification. It remains to be seen whether it could be the OnePlus 15s or something else.

The OnePlus 15s is expected to pack the same specifications as the OnePlus 15T, which is scheduled to launch on March 24 in China. However, there could be one key difference between the two models.
