These updates aren’t the major OS updates, rather, UI upgrades consisting of some fixes and features.

The OnePlus Nord 2 has received the OxygenOS 11.3.A.10 update and it has a size of 245MB. Some users have claimed to have received this update and it brings battery optimization for gaming titles like PUBG. The fix will address the inconsistent battery consumption while playing games. It also packs fixes for the camera app and face unlocking option. Moreover, it has the latest August 2021 security patch.

The entire OnePlus 7 and 7T series lineup has received OxygenOS 11.0.3.1 update and it has also had the August 2021 security patch. The update brings Bitmoji clock wherein users can keep their Bitmoji on the Ambient display. It also caters the NFC stability issues. After the update, users have reported having seen the OnePlus Store app installed on their phones.

Although the phones didn’t receive any major features after the update, having the latest security patch is still a win-win for OnePlus fans.

The OnePlus Nord 2 has a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display. It features a 90Hz screen with FHD+ resolution. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and has 12GB of RAM. It has a 50MP triple rear camera system and boasts a 32MP selfie sensor. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W quick charging support.

As part of this recently kicked-off promo, the Chinese online is giving its loyal users a chance to get their hands on the international version of the OnePlus 7 phablet for a lowered price. We will shed light on the aforesaid discount in just a bit.

Launched in May this year, the OnePlus 7 phablet boasts almost comparable specifications to the iPhone. Moreover, thanks to the impressive array of features it comes with, OnePlus’ flagship smartphone became an instant hit among smartphone lovers.

On the downside, the well-received OnePlus 7 phablet isn’t easy on the pocketbook. The international version of the phablet that ships with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage capacity would normally set you back $703.80.

Much to the relief of those who aren’t willing to spend that kind of money on a phablet, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is offering its feature-laden phablet for a considerably lowered price on Gearbest. Thanks to a 23 percent discount, you can now buy the OnePlus 7 4G phablet for just $539.99.

An absolute steal at this price, the OnePlus 7 phablet offers the following features:

41 inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor

Adreno 640 GPU

12GB RAM+256GB ROM

48MP + 5MP cameras at the back

16MP front shooter

3700mAh Li-ion Battery

Oxygen OS based on Android 9.0 Pie

You can visit this link to check out the full specification and avail the discount, which is valid for the gray color version of the phablet. With 125 units already sold, the promo is slated to end in just one day.

This is what happened today during the OnePlus event. The OnePlus 7 Pro got all the attention while the OnePlus 7 got only a brief mention.

The OnePlus 7 is for those on a budget. Those who don’t fancy a 90Hz display, are fine with dual rear cameras and don’t mind having a notch in their phone’s display. These are the features of the OnePlus 7.

The screen is a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. There is a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen for the selfie camera and it has the same third-generation in-display fingerprint scanner as the Pro version. Performance should be the same on both devices. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855 with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

The camera is another place where both phones differ. The primary camera on the OnePlus 7 is the same Sony IMX586 sensor but with a slightly smaller f/1.7 aperture (f/1.6 on the Pro). There is OIS and EIS on the main camera and it is paired with a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The camera modes include Nightscape, Portrait, Studio Lighting, UltraShot, and Super Resolution.

The selfie camera is a 16MP Sony IMX471 f/2.0 sensor with support for face Unlock, Screen Flash, and Face Retouching. The front camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps and also time-lapse videos.

The OnePlus 7 packs a smaller 3700mAh battery with 20W fast charging like the regular OnePlus 6T. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0, and support for aptX and aptXHD, LDAC, and AAC. There is NFC, dual-frequency GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM support, and a USB Type-C port.

The OnePlus 7 runs OxygenOS 9.5 based on Android Pie with Fnatic Mode (available via an OTA), RAM Boost, Video Enhancer, Screen Recorder, Zen Mode and Full-Screen gestures.

Price and Availability

The OnePlus 7 is priced at £499 for the 6+128GB version and £549 for the 8+256GB version. It will be available in Mirror Gray and a Red variant that exclusive to China and India. The phone will be available in June and will not be sold in the US.

Already, numerous leaks have surfaced in the past revealing its specs and design. Today, a full-fledged listing has appeared on the website of Chinese retailer, Giztop flaunting its front side in an image along with its specifications. The image is matching the recently leaked 360 degree 3D render prototype of the OnePlus 7, irrespective its buttons placement.

Along with the full-view display, the device hosts a power button on the right side, and volume rockers sit on the left. It’s significantly large speaker grill is visible on the display top. Even though, the alert slider is missing from the frame. Further, it’s quite difficult to verify the pop-up camera module as nothing is visible beside its front side. The image seems quite practical, and it is possible that OnePlus should have eliminated the alert slider.

OnePlus 7 rumored specifications

Furthermore, Giztop has also listed the specifications of the device. As per the specs sheet, OnePlus 7 will carry 6.5 inch AMOLED display carrying “world’s fastest screen unlock” in-screen fingerprint sensor. OnePlus has dubbed to carry waterdrop display having a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5 percent. One of the major attractions of the smartphone is its in-display fingerprint reader. Further, OnePlus 7 will make debut with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC which supports maximum clocking speeds of upto 2.84 GHz coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. On the camera end, its triple camera sensor module with 48MP+20MP+5MP will take place on the rear side of the device. On the front, there will be another 16MP pop-up camera sensor for selfies and video calling.

OnePlus will make it available in two different variants featuring 8GB RAM +128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM with 256 GB internal Storage. It is listed to host 4000 mAh of a huge battery which will be compatible with 44W super fast Dash charging technology. The device will run on Oxygen OS 9 aka Android 9.0 Pie. It will be compatible with almost every network carrier across the Globe.

Additionally, OnePlus founder Pete Lau has confirmed that the OnePlus 7 won’t feature wireless charging option. Already, various renders carrying punch hole display, some skipping notch have appeared in the past. We suggest you wait for the official confirmation, as the launch is not so long away.
