Chinese tech giant OnePlus is all set to unveil the OnePlus 7T in India tomorrow. It is our expectation that the company will also launch the OnePlus 7T Pro. The launch event will go live at 19:00 IST (GMT+5:30). You can stream the event live from anywhere around the world from OnePlus YouTube channel.

The OnePlus 7T is expected to come with a fluid AMOLED display which has been confirmed to enable an impressive 90GHz refresh rate and have 2K resolution. The flagship will also pride itself among the smartphones that drop running Google’s latest Android 10 of course with OnePlus’ custom Oxygen OS out of the box. OnePlus CEO Carl Pei recently shared what is said to be the new retail box for the OP 7T and it is a “red affair”. At the heart of the device will be a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset which will likely be paired with 8GB of RAM on both models. However, while the OnePlus 7T model will reportedly ship with 128GB, the OP 7T Pro may have a base storage of 256GB. The OP 7T is also been revealed to come with a spectacular circular camera module at the back. OnePlus is also said to be planning to take the wraps off the OnePlus TV during the launch event. We have seen a whole lot of leaked teasers detailing some of the features of the smart TV. We just can’t wait to meet with the device.

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 7T starting from September 26. The Chinese tech giant released the launch itinerary today via a poster on its social media handles vis-a-vis Twitter and Instagram. The poster details the launch date and time for OnePlus 7T in India, North America and Europe.

The OP 7T will be launched in North America on September 26 at 10.30 AM EDT. On the same day, the device will be unveiled in India at 7 PM IST. Thereafter, the phone will be showcased for the European market on October 10 at 4 PM BST.

Do take note of the different caption of the events holding in the three regions as they hold clues to the products the company will be unveiling on that day. For India, it is captioned as “India OnePlus Launch Event”. That is likely because the company will be unveiling the OnePlus TV alongside the OP7. The North America launch caption seems to reaffirm earlier rumours that the OP 7 Pro may be launched in the US. We say so because it is only captioned “North America OnePlus 7T Reveal”. Whereas, the listing for Europe has the caption “Europe OnePlus 7T Series Launch Event. This could be an indication that the OnePlus 7T Pro will be launched first in Europe alongside the OnePlus 7T. The India launch maybe for the OnePlus TV and OnePlus 7T only. This is the first time the T series is getting a Pro variant and so the company may not want the OnePlus TV release to overshadow the launch but we’re not so sure.

Since the release of the OnePlus 3T in November 2016, OnePlus has in subsequent years released a slightly upgraded variant of its flagship bearing the “T” suffix. From the OnePlus 5T right to the OnePlus 6T, the models have all lived up to expectations and usually reignite sales of the brand’s flagship models. The OnePlus 7 isn’t likely going to be an exception as the renders of what is touted to be the OnePlus 7T has emerged online.

The renders which were leaked by the renowned tipster Evan Bass, avail us the opportunity to have a look at the rear design.  What is interesting about the rear design is the round camera module in the middle. However, there is no indication as to the number of sensors that would be onboard or how they will be arranged.  It doesn’t even have any feature that points to it being a camera module except that it is located where the rear camera is supposed to sit. What we can promise you is that the design is going to be a spectacular one, OnePlus style.

Also worthy of note is that the design looks similar to the leaked image of a OnePlus model leaked by teenage tipster Ishan Agarwal back in December 2018. The image showed the device in prototype/designing stage with a similar circular rear camera module. However, there were rumours that the design ever left the prototype stage. But right now, @evleaks tips this to be the design of the OnePlus 7T. We’ll have to wait for more details to emerge. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 7T is rumoured to get an early September 26 launch date. That may not be correct but going by precedence, the device is expected to drop in October or November this year.
