<h4><strong>Offline Expansion</strong></h4>
<p>Additionally, OnePlus says it has followed all stringent norms including safety and hygiene to honour the Government&#8217;s protocol. Accordingly, it follows social distancing, sanitation of premises, and temperature check of staff members. Also, OnePlus&#8217; new Store is in-line with its omnichannel strategy to expand offline. Previously, the company opened its<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/01/22/oneplus-opens-first-offline-store-mumbai-offers-bullet-v2-earphones-free/"> first offline partner store</a> in Mumbai back in 2018. And an Experience Store in Bengaluru in 2017.</p>
<p>After a lot of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/24/oneplus-wants-to-expand-offline-presence-in-india-partners-with-srk-group/">expansion strategies</a>, it now has over 5,000 stores including partners. And OnePlus says the offline expansion will continue with a new ₹100 crores investment. It aims to take the premium store experience deep into interior regions of the country beyond Metro cities via new retail alliances. Not to mention its commitment to cover 100 cities through the service center network will be covered by next year(2021).</p>

<p>One aspect that OnePlus has repeatedly harped on is the camera capability of the device&#8217;s camera. OnePlus had teased the 8T camera sample on Twitter before it was launched, with the teaser bearing the caption: “When the stars come up, we bring our OnePlus 8T out!”</p>
<p>Indeed the camera has been nothing short of impressive and OnePlus is intent on flaunting the camera with its latest short film which was shot using the OP8T&#8217;s camera.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="Stop at Nothing feat Kalki Koechlin - Shot on OnePlus 8T 5G" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/suAzCoy_nQM?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>The film titled, ‘Stop at Nothing’ reiterates the need to use the technology around you productively and taking the time to disconnect, talking of digital wellbeing. The short film stares Kalki Koechlin and is produced by Lightstream. OnePlus 8T is capable of shooting videos up to 4K @60fps. Users can choose a more cinematic 21:9 crop as well.</p>
<p>Narrated through spoken-word poetry written by Kalki Koechlin, ‘Stop at Nothing’ underlines the downsides of being hyper-connected and highlights the need to disconnect while reiterating the use of technology and digital platforms for what they were originally intended — platforms to create, connect and collaborate.</p>
<p>Commenting on the campaign film, Siddhant Narayan, Head of Marketing at OnePlus India stated,</p>
<p>&#8220;We live in a time where our smartphones have become our one-stop destination for everything from work and news updates to entertainment and connecting with loved ones. As a technology brand, we understand how important it is to perceive our devices as an extension of the self, for helping us boost creativity and productivity and not something that we become dependent on. With this film, we hope to make people cognizant of using technology for the betterment of ourselves, emphasizing the importance of disconnecting from time to time&#8221;.</p>

The premium flagship model promises a host of topnotch features but less improvement compared to previous models in the T series. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-347972" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 8T 5G" width="2000" height="1125" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed.jpg 2000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/unnamed-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></a></p>
<p>First, the model wasn&#8217;t upgraded to the Snapdragon 865+ chipset as used to be the case but retains the Snapdragon 865 chipset just like<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/12/why-oneplus-8t-not-use-snapdragon-865-plus/"> we earlier reported</a>. The Snapdragon 865 is the same chipset utilised on the OnePlus 8 and it teams up with a Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System, which enables staggering multi-gigabit 5G connectivity, professional-quality photography at Gigapixel speeds, desktop-level gaming with ultra-realistic graphics, and intuitive AI experiences. The processor also brings support for dual-mode NSA + SA 5G and Wi-Fi 6 enabling faster, more reliable data speeds.</p>
<p>The processor is paired with 8GB / 12GB RAM while there are 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage options.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-347967" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 8T 5G" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-2-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></a></p>
<p>Next, we take a look at the OnePlus 8T 5G display. The flagship device packs a 6.55-inch Fluid 2.5D flexible AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) of around 0.3, a peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits and 8,192 levels of brightness.  The display is the first flat 120Hz display ever to earn an A+ rating from DisplayMate.</p>
<div class="su-note" style="border-color:#e5e5e5;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><div class="su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim" style="background-color:#ffffff;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick:</strong> <strong><a title="Carl Pei leaves OnePlus; reported to be starting his own venture" href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/13/carl-pei-leaves-oneplus-reported-to-be-starting-his-own-venture/" rel="bookmark">Carl Pei leaves OnePlus; reported to be starting his own venture</a></strong></div></div>
<p>For photography, the OnePlus 8T 5G features a robust and versatile camera kit designed to efficiently capture any and every moment in crisp detail. The packs a quad-camera system at the rear which includes a 48MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and dedicated macro and monochrome lenses, letting users enjoy studio-level photography on the go. There is equally a 123-degree ultra-wide lens on the OnePlus 8T 5G which provides a new perspective for framing shots so users can confidently capture vast landscapes, expansive architecture and other wide-angle subjects in full view. The camera also comes with an improved Nightscape mode. The new Video Portrait mode produces vivid clips with a natural bokeh effect based on improved AI, accurately detecting and analyzing human subjects and blurring out the background.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-347968" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 8T 5G" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/oneplus-8t-3-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></a></p>
<p>The OP8T packs a 4500mAh battery but this time around instead of one cell, it is split to two different cells for better heat dissipation. The device comes with the company&#8217;s proprietary Warp Charge 65 which is OnePlus’ most advanced charging solution ever. For reference, the charger can deliver up to 60% charge in just 15 minutes. The battery can charge from zero to full charge in just 39 minutes. The phone tags along 12 temperature sensors as well as an extra encryption chip in the adapter and cable, to keep charging temperatures at a comfortable level while operating at a peak output of 65W.</p>

The leaked image that is on Slashleaks, shows the device in Aquamarine Green color. Also, it has been <a href="https://twitter.com/ishanagarwal24/status/1315684383123140609">shared</a> by tipster like Ishan Agarwal citing an unknown source on Twitter.</p>

<p>The rear image of the OnePlus 8T that has gone viral(via <a href="https://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_8t__appears_in_the_wild_hours_before_unveiling-news-45766.php">GSMArena</a>) on the internet seems to have been caught by someone named &#8220;Harsha Gogineni&#8221;. The captured live shot shows OnePlus 8T and it&#8217;s supposed retail box packaging. Interestingly, the device is seen covered with a TPU case on it. And, the rear looks exactly like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/08/oneplus-gives-us-an-early-look-at-the-oneplus-8t-in-aquamarine-green/">official renders</a> shared by the company. We have a rectangular layout with four cameras along with what is likely a light temperature sensor, and LED flash.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-347745" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8T-live-shot-leak.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="960" height="1206" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8T-live-shot-leak.jpg 960w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8T-live-shot-leak-239x300.jpg 239w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8T-live-shot-leak-768x965.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8T-live-shot-leak-815x1024.jpg 815w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8T-live-shot-leak-696x874.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8T-live-shot-leak-334x420.jpg 334w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/10/oneplus-8-pro-oxygenos-android-11-stable-update/">OxygenOS 11 stable update arrives for OnePlus 8/8 Pro</a></strong></p>
<p>Further, an &#8220;OnePlus Logo&#8221; with Golden accents sits in the middle whereas &#8220;OnePlus&#8221; branding is at the bottom. Additionally, the live shot <a href="http://www.slashleaks.com/l/oneplus-8t-live-image">confirms</a> the placement of buttons. We have power and alert slider to the right, and volume buttons to the left. However, the retail packaging has a big &#8220;8T&#8221; written only at the top and not on the sides. While it&#8217;s hard to tell how thick the device would be just by looking at the rear image, we can expect it to have a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/01/oneplus-8t-dimension-and-camera-sensors-tipped-ahead-of-october-14-launch/">thickness of 8.4mm</a> which is a bit higher than the predecessor, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-7t">7T</a>.</p>
<p>That said, we do <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/10/oneplus-8t-expected-price-specifications-before-october-14-launch/">know</a> what the device will offer. It will feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/22/oneplus-8t-display-specs/">120Hz</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/12/why-oneplus-8t-not-use-snapdragon-865-plus/">Snapdragon 865 SoC</a>. The rear camera layout on the leaked live shot will likely have <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/12/oneplus-8t-camera-leaked-48mp-quad-camera/">four sensors</a>&#8211; 48MP Sony IMX 586, 16MP ultra-wide, 5MP Macro, and 2MP b/w sensor. For selfies, it is said to have a 16MP Sony IMX 471 sensor tucked inside the punch-hole. The device will most likely be backed by a 4,500mAh battery and have <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/24/oneplus-officially-announces-warp-charge-65-to-debut-on-the-oneplus-8t/">65W Warp charging</a> support. It is expected to be priced at ₹42,999(~$587) for 8GB/128GB, and ₹45,999(~$628) for 12GB/256GB variants.</p>

<p>The company has confirmed that a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/13/oneplus-8t-popup-event-in-oneplus-world-oct-14/">virtual pop-up</a> event of OnePlus 8T will take place on October 14 at 8:20 PM IST on its 3D virtual reality platform <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/01/oneplus-world-teased-may-be-a-vr-platform/">OnePlus World</a>. Furthermore, a new leak reveals the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/12/oneplus-8t-camera-leaked-48mp-quad-camera/">camera details</a> of OnePlus 8T. As per Mukul Sharma(Twitter: @stufflistings), OnePlus 8T will have a 48MP Sony IMX586, 16MP wide-angle, 5MP Macro, and a 2MP black&amp;white sensor on the back. On the front, it will have a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor for selfies. And regarding the price, tipster Ishan Agarwal has <a href="https://twitter.com/ishanagarwal24/status/1315974962054746112">leaked</a> the sale date(October 17), and the prices of OnePlus 8T as below:</p>
<ul>
<li>8GB/128GB- ₹42,999(~$587)</li>
<li>12GB/256GB-₹45,999(~$628)</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Original Story(October 10)</strong></span></h3>
<p>OnePlus&#8217; next flagship, the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-8t">OnePlus 8T</a> is just around the corner. Ahead of its launch, let us look at the already confirmed and other expected specifications along with the price for the device.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-339819" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-8T.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 8T" width="796" height="605" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-8T.jpg 796w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-8T-300x228.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-8T-768x584.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-8T-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-8T-696x529.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-8T-553x420.jpg 553w" sizes="(max-width: 796px) 100vw, 796px" /></p>
<p>OnePlus <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/20/oneplus-india-confirms-oneplus-8t-5g-is-coming-soon/">began</a> teasing the 8T a few weeks ago. The device will debut in India on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/21/oneplus-announces-oneplus-8t-5g-will-launch-on-october-14/">October 14</a> at 7:30 PM IST and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/24/oneplus-8t-will-launch-on-october-15-in-china/">October 15</a> in China. The event will be streamed live via its official website. In terms of design, the device adopts a flatter display like the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-7t">OnePlus 7T</a>. This is understandable considering there <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/29/official-oneplus-8t-pro-will-not-launch-this-year-since-oneplus-8-pro-has-no-room-for-upgrade/">isn&#8217;t an 8T Pro</a> this time and the 8T will likely succeed the 7T and equate OnePlus 8 in features.</p>
<h3><strong>OnePlus 8T Design, colors</strong></h3>
<p>Design-wise, it will likely to have a sandwich of Corning&#8217;s Gorilla Glass 6 to be on the display and rear-panel with a metal frame inside. We can expect it to be structurally sound and water-resistant with an IP68 rating. The display will be flat and host a single punch-hole at the top left. The power button and OnePlus slider will be on the Right, and volume buttons to the left. Also, it will mostly have a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/01/oneplus-8t-dimension-and-camera-sensors-tipped-ahead-of-october-14-launch/">thickness of 8.4mm</a> without a camera and a whopping 9.3mm thanks to the bulging rear-camera cut-out that is flaunted in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/08/oneplus-gives-us-an-early-look-at-the-oneplus-8t-in-aquamarine-green/">official renders</a>.</p>
<p>The official render shows a rectangular camera layout on the back 4 cameras and LED flash. While this shape looks like its borrowed from Samsung, the rounded edges make it more subtle. And, for the color variants, it will come in Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver options thanks to tipster <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/09/oneplus-8t-renders-color-options/">Ishan Agarwal</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-346915" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors.jpeg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 8T Render Color Options" width="1280" height="720" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors.jpeg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors-1068x601.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/OnePlus-8T-Colors-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<h3><strong>OnePlus 8T Specifications</strong></h3>
<p>Starting with display, OnePlus has confirmed that the device will have a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/22/oneplus-8t-display-specs/">120Hz refresh rate</a> screen. The device will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. Its peak brightness will be 1,100 nits, covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 0.3 JNCD(color difference), and a screen-body ratio of 91.9%. Powering the device will most likely be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/30/oneplus-8t-with-12gb-ram-and-android-11-appears-on-geekbench/">Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC</a>, paired up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.</p>
<p>As for the optics, leaks say that OnePlus will sport the 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX 586 sensor with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/OIS">OIS</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/EIS">EIS</a>. Moving on, OnePlus has recently shared <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/07/oneplus-shares-oneplus-8t-night-mode-camera-sample/">ultra-wide samples</a> on the rear-camera confirming the presence. The samples show that the wide-angle lens can show its prowess in Night light too. That said, the other sensors probably are 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide with 116˚ FOV, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. Sadly, it will drop the Telephoto lens from the 7T. For selfies, OnePlus has already <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/04/oneplus-8t-will-have-an-ultra-wide-angle-selfie-camera/">confirmed</a> that the device will have a wide-angle lens for selfies. And, if reports are true it will have a 16MP sensor. We can expect camera features like Nightscape, PDAF, steady-video, 4K recording, and more.</p>
<p>Other specifications include a 4,500mAh battery with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/24/oneplus-officially-announces-warp-charge-65-to-debut-on-the-oneplus-8t/">65W</a> Warp Charging probably with a Type-C to Type-C connectivity, in-display fingerprint scanner, and 45W PD charging. The device will also come with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/29/pete-lau-oneplus-8t-will-be-the-first-smartphone-in-the-world-to-launch-with-android-11/">OxygenOS 11</a> based on Android 11 out-of-the-box.</p>
<h3><strong>Expected Price, and Availability</strong></h3>
<p>The <a href="https://www.giztop.com/oneplus-8t.html">OnePlus 8T</a> is expected to be <a href="https://www.giztop.com/oneplus-8t.html">priced</a> at $599 for 8/128GB and $699 for 12/256GB variants. However, OnePlus can vary it across regions as it usually does. That said, the device will be officially sold via OnePlus&#8217; website, Amazon, and its offline stores. However, Let&#8217;s wait for the official details on availability until next Wednesday.</p>

Apart from the official teasers, leaks keep pouring in for the device to reveal more features. And now, the latest leaks by tipsters reveals camera sensors and dimensions of the 8T. If reports are true, the device will be slightly taller and thicker than its predecessor, and OnePlus 8.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-344057" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/oneplus_8t.png?x44794" alt="oneplus 8t" width="650" height="650" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/oneplus_8t.png 650w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/oneplus_8t-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/oneplus_8t-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/oneplus_8t-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></p>
<p>The new Leaks come from tipsters Steve(<a href="https://twitter.com/OnLeaks/status/1311573986871054337">@Onleaks</a>) and Yogesh(<a href="https://twitter.com/heyitsyogesh/status/1311301522983063553">@heyitsyogesh)</a> on Twitter. According to Steve, OnePlus 8T will have a rough dimension of 162.8&#215;75.5&#215;8.4mm. This means the thickness of the device would be around 8.4mm. Also, Steve says that the thickness will increase to 9.3mm when you add the rear-camera bump into the equation. That&#8217;s almost an mm increase in thickness and you can imagine how the bump would look like.</p>
<p>Having said that, the <a href="https://www.giztop.com/oneplus-8t.html">Oneplus 8T</a> seems a bit thicker than <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-8/">OnePlus 8</a>&#8216;s 8.0mm and its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-7t/">OnePlus 7T</a>&#8216;s 8.13mm. In fact, if reports are true, its thickness is quite similar to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-8-pro/">OnePlus 8 Pro</a>. This is understandable considering its battery will most likely be 4,500mAh battery and similar to the 8 Pro.</p>
<p>Moving on, another leak by Yogesh suggests that the <a href="https://www.giztop.com/oneplus-8t.html">Oneplus 8T</a> will have a 48MP Sony&#8217;s IMX 586 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture including <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/OIS">OIS</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/EIS">EIS</a> similar to the 7T. It will reportedly have a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide with 116˚ FOV(Field of View) sensor. However, it looks like 8T will ditch the Telephoto lens found on the 7T and instead have 5MP f/2.4 macro and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensors to complete the setup.</p>
<p>That said, the company is yet to officially confirm these specifications. Besides, the device is said to retain the 16MP Sony&#8217;s IMX 471 from the 7T for selfies. It will be interesting to see how OnePlus defends the image quality with optimization considering the main sensors are pretty much the same. By now, we are familiar with the possible <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/30/oneplus-8t-with-12gb-ram-and-android-11-appears-on-geekbench/">Specifications</a> of the OnePlus 8T. It will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/14/oneplus-8t-5k-renders-and-specs-revealed-120hz-display-65w-fast-charging-and-more/">120Hz refresh rate</a>, Snapdragon 865 SoC, 4,500mAh battery with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/07/oneplus-65w-charger-spotted-may-arrive-with-oneplus-8t/">65W</a> charging, RAM up to 12GB, and 128/256GB storage.</p>

<p>The event page includes a teaser video that gives us a glimpse of the phone and its flat display.
