The device is listed with the model number OnePlus A6003 and the benchmark test result was uploaded to the database on May 7. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/oneplus-6-geekbench.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-189705" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/oneplus-6-geekbench.png?x10805" alt="OnePlus 6 GeekBench" width="645" height="556" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/oneplus-6-geekbench.png 645w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/oneplus-6-geekbench-300x259.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 645px) 100vw, 645px" /></a></p>
<p>According to the GeekBench data, the OnePlus 6 polled a single core test score of  2402 and a multi-core test score of 8931 points. The device was able to achieve this score because of the Snapdragon 845 chipset which it packs.  The listing also shows the device in question has 8GB of RAM onboard which make this the higher variant. We expect a 6GB RAM variant to be released as well. In addition, the OnePlus 6 is listed to run on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-8.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-186750" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-8-1024x768.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus 6" width="640" height="480" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-8-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-8-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-8-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-8-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>

<p>Apart from the Snapdragon 845chip and 8GB of RAM, OnePlus 6 is expected to sport a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a notch at the top, a 19:9 aspect ratio, dual rear cameras, an improved front-facing camera, a 3450mAh battery, and up to 256GB of storage. OnePlus is expected to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/04/25/confirmed-oneplus-6-will-launch-on-may-17-in-china/">launch the OP6 on May 17 in London</a>. The upcoming flagship has been spotted today on the website of the Wi-Fi alliance after getting certified. The Wi-Fi certification doesn&#8217;t reveal much but there is still a bit of info worth knowing.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-182729" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-WiFi-Certification.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus 6 WiFi Certification" width="616" height="588" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-WiFi-Certification.jpg 616w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-WiFi-Certification-300x286.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px" /></p>
<p>The OnePlus 6&#8217;s model number is revealed to be A6003. This follows the pattern of previous OnePlus phones. It is also revealed that the phone is running Android 8.1.0 with firmware version OsygenOS 5.1.0. Just like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-5t/">OnePlus 5T</a>, the OnePlus 6 also supports dual band Wi-Fi.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-182732" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-WiFi-Certification-2-1.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus 6 WiFi Certification" width="720" height="581" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-WiFi-Certification-2-1.jpg 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/OnePlus-6-WiFi-Certification-2-1-300x242.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /></p>
<p>Although it is still surprising that the OnePlus 6 will be launching early but seeing as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/03/24/oneplus-5t-goes-out-of-stock-north-america/">OnePlus 5T is out of stock in some markets</a> already, and OnePlus doesn&#8217;t have other phones it is selling, it makes sense why it is releasing a new phone earlier than expected.</p>

<p>The new flagship has been confirmed to feature a notch and will come in three variants this time. A new 256GB model will be released for those who want more storage. The phone will also cost more than the 5T.</p>
