<p><span style="font-weight: 400">He shared a picture of a code snippet, which revealed the following codenames associated with what seems to be their marketing name.</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">billie2 &#8211; OnePlus Billie 2</span></li>

</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This is not the first time we are hearing about the codename “billie”. These devices </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/02/new-oneplus-phones-with-dual-and-triple-rear-cameras-appear-in-video-render/"><span style="font-weight: 400">leaked in a rendered video</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> earlier in August. Max J, the person behind that leak did confirm that there will be multiple phones. The above-listed devices could be the ones he mentioned.</span></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Also, according to him, they are also known as “Aurora” and they can launch under the “Nord” branding. Hence, it is not sure if these handsets will be indeed called OnePlus Billie.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">One of these devices could come powered by either </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/23/oneplus-will-launch-a-snapdragon-662-665-phone-next-month/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Snapdragon 662 or Snapdragon 665</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. Whereas, another model from the list above could be a mid-range 5G smartphone </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/29/oneplus-nord-with-snapdragon-690-could-be-in-works-model-names-app/"><span style="font-weight: 400">powered by Snapdragon 690</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> like the Oneplus Nord but with a more affordable price tag.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Additionally, OnePlus will be also launching a phone codenamed “clover”, which could be the brand’s </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/28/oneplus-clover-720p-display-6000mah-battery/"><span style="font-weight: 400">cheapest smartphone</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> with feature like </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/24/oneplus-nord-with-snapdragon-460-could-be-the-cheapest-oneplus-phone/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Snapdragon 460</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, 720p display, 6,000mAh battery, 4GB + 64GB storage configuration, microSD card slot, fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup,  </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/17/oneplus-18w-charger-gets-certified-by-tuv-rheinland-should-be-for-a-cheaper-nord-phone/"><span style="font-weight: 400">18W fast charging</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, and around $200 price tag.</span></p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-335053" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-Aurora.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus Aurora" width="810" height="479" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-Aurora.jpg 810w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-Aurora-300x177.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-Aurora-768x454.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-Aurora-696x412.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/OnePlus-Aurora-710x420.jpg 710w" sizes="(max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px" /></p>
<p>Max revealed in a tweet that the device is codenamed “Billie”, however, they have decided to call it Aurora though they should launch with the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/nord">Nord</a> name. The design is also based on their imagination but could be very close to the final products. Yes, apparently there are two phones &#8211; Billie 1 and Billie 2 &#8211; which means we should get a standard and a Pro/lite version.</p>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true">
<p lang="en" dir="ltr">It&#39;s a leak&#8230; sort of. <br />Let me introduce Codename &quot;Billie&quot; or as we call it: Aurora.</p>

<p>Yeah, &quot;phones&quot; &#8211; plural<a href="https://t.co/Aa7GNBfOh9">https://t.co/Aa7GNBfOh9</a> <a href="https://t.co/X7o4y5LGvc">pic.twitter.com/X7o4y5LGvc</a></p>

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>The video shows the two OnePlus phones have a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen. Until more details surface, we can&#8217;t say if they are AMOLED panels and if they have a high-refresh-rate.</p>
<p>OnePlus said last year that its future phones will have a high refresh rate and so far, it has kept that promise. However, since it is now making affordable (mid-range) smartphones, we won&#8217;t be surprised if some of the models skip on the feature.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/y-27iSFPJXA?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>One of the phones is shown packing triple rear cameras arranged vertically. The camera housing is on the left side of the phone and beside it sits the LED flash. The second phone which should be the base model has dual cameras and shares the camera housing with the LED flash. OnePlus will also keep the alert slider on the two phones.</p>
