So far, we learned only a few details about the device and had no clue about its design. The tipster Ishan Agarwal has now shared some renders(via <a href="https://pricebaba.com/blog/oneplus-bullets-wireless-z2-leaked-renders-exclusive" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Pricebaba</em></a>) revealing the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2&#8217;s design.</p>
<p>The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 will be a successor to the Bullets Wireless Z that launched 2 years back. The render shows that the neckband earbuds come with a similar design as the predecessor. But it comes in new colors &#8211; Blue and Black.</p>
<p>Although we have seen the Black in the Bullets Wireless Z, the Z2&#8217;s Black has a different combination of Red into it. We can see the Red tones on the Volume plus and minus button and also on the ear tips.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-449474 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2" width="1200" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-Z2-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p>Furthermore, it has a microphone beside the volume rocker on one side. On the other side, there&#8217;s the Oneplus branding. The renders confirm that the earbuds can be magnetically attached when not in use. It seems to have the magnetic controls as seen in the Bullets Wireless Z.</p>
<p>Other than this, the earbuds were previously spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification revealing the Bluetooth v5.0 support. It is touted to be IP55-rated for dust and water resistance.</p>
<p>The Bullets Wireless Z2 will have 12.4mm dynamic drivers and are rumored to have up to 30 hours of battery life. It will come with fast charging support that will offer up to 20 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging.</p>

For fans of neckband wireless headphones, a new report says we may soon get a new pair from <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus">OnePlus</a>.</p>
<p>OnePlus neckband-style wireless headphones are sold under the Bullets Wireless line, and considering it has been a year since the launch of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/14/oneplus-bullets-wireless-z-brings-fast-charging-to-earbuds-for-just-50/">OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z</a>, the news about a new model coming soon isn&#8217;t too surprising.</p>
<p>The source of the info is the Indian leaker Abhishek Yadav (@yabhisekhd) and he disclosed in a tweet that he was informed by a source that OnePlus will soon launch (a pair) wireless Bluetooth neckband earphones(s) in India.</p>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true">

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>While no details about the features of the Bluetooth earphones were provided, we can expect some basic functions such as water and sweat resistance, Quick Switch, Fast Pair, and Warp Charge.</p>
<p>The new headphones should launch as the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z 2 or OnePlus Bullets Wireless 3. It has been more than two years since the launch of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/05/15/oneplus-bullets-wireless-2-announced/">OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2</a>, so a successor is long overdue.</p>
<p>We do not know when the earphones will launch but it will most likely be launched alongside other products. The OnePlus 9RT is expected to launch in India, so both products may arrive together.</p>

It was officially confirmed the 2018 flagship won&#8217;t have the 3. 5mm audio jack even before the phone was launched. OnePlus said the removal would allow for a bigger battery but there was really nothing more, not even an official IP-rating even on its successor (it will survive splashes and an accidental drop in a puddle), the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-6t/">OnePlus 6T</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-211115" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless.png?x10805" alt="OnePlus Bullets Wireless" width="500" height="550" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless.png 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/OnePlus-Bullets-Wireless-273x300.png 273w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></p>
<p>With the launch of the OnePlus 6 came the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/16/oneplus-bullets-wireless-headphones-unveiled-with-fast-charging/">OnePlus Bullets Wireless</a> &#8211; its first wired earphones. It received lots of positive reviews and boasts features such as fast charging via a USB type-C port and support for Google Assistant.</p>
<p>OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, further expressed his opinion on the removal of the earphone jack in a Weibo post yesterday. He believes the removal of the audio jack will help spur development of wireless earphones. As with each passing generation, the technology should get better. He added that even though the Bullets Wireless is very good, it can still be better. He ended the post by asking for suggestions on how to improve their earphones.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-240350" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Pete-Lau-audio-jack-removal.png?x10805" alt="Pete Lau audio jack removal" width="723" height="251" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Pete-Lau-audio-jack-removal.png 723w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Pete-Lau-audio-jack-removal-300x104.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 723px) 100vw, 723px" /></p>
<p>We haven&#8217;t found any evidence yet or heard rumors but we won&#8217;t be surprised if the OnePlus 7 launches along with a new pair of wireless earphones, maybe even OnePlus&#8217; first truly wireless earbuds. Whichever one it might be, we can be sure it will be better than the Bullets Wireless.</p>
<p>Qualcomm announced <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/08/31/qualcomm-wants-the-audio-jack-to-go-announces-aptx-adaptive-for-wireless-audio/">aptX Adaptive audio</a> for wireless audio devices last year. The technology will compress audio at variable bitrates depending on the signal strength. The minimum and maximum bitrates of aptX Adaptive are lower than the current bitrate for aptX and aptX HD but have the same quality.</p>
