When the phone debuted in April, the 8GB + 256GB variant was priced at ₹38,999, while the 12GB + 256GB version came in at ₹41,999. Now, updated listings on Amazon India and OnePlus’ own website show the prices climbing to ₹41,999 and ₹46,999 respectively.

That means the base model alone has gone up by ₹3,000, while the higher-end variant has seen a much steeper ₹5,000 increase.

Several smartphone brands have been dealing with rising memory and storage costs over the past few months. Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, and other manufacturers have also adjusted pricing recently across different categories.

The Nord 6 itself is fairly loaded on paper. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a huge 9,000mAh battery, a 165Hz AMOLED display, and hardware that pushes it closer to affordable flagship territory than a traditional Nord device.

At its original pricing, the phone felt competitive. At nearly ₹47,000 for the top configuration, however, the conversation changes a bit. Buyers in that range start comparing it directly against more premium offerings.

The OnePlus 15R, for instance, offers a more capable chipset, larger main sensor, more advanced image processing, a metal frame, a glass back, and more importantly, that flagship tag for just a bit of extra cash, if you can stretch your budget.

To soften the blow slightly, OnePlus is still offering bank discounts of up to ₹2,000 through select cards and EMI transactions. But even after those offers, the effective pricing is still noticeably higher than what early buyers paid at launch.

This also marks a bit of a milestone for the Nord lineup itself. The Nord series traditionally sat comfortably below the flagship category, focusing heavily on value. Crossing the ₹41,000 mark for the base variant changes that perception somewhat.

Whether buyers continue to see the Nord 6 as good value after the increase will probably depend on how aggressively OnePlus handles discounts and seasonal offers over the next few months.

Design and Display

Build and Feel

The OnePlus Nord 6 focuses on durability and practicality with IP68/IP69K protection and MIL-STD-810H certification. Its plastic frame and back help keep the device comfortable during extended gaming or media sessions, though it does not feel as premium in hand. The Poco F8 Pro clearly targets a more flagship-style experience with its aluminum frame, glass back, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It feels more polished and refined, especially for users who care about premium materials.

Display Quality

OnePlus pushes harder on refresh rate and brightness with a 165Hz AMOLED panel and impressive peak brightness levels. Animations feel extremely smooth, and gaming responsiveness stands out immediately. Poco counters with Dolby Vision support, richer color depth, and a more balanced flagship-grade viewing experience. While the lower 120Hz refresh rate is noticeable on paper, the overall display tuning feels more cinematic and polished for streaming content.

Verdict

Poco F8 Pro feels more premium overall, while the OnePlus Nord 6 delivers a more aggressive gaming-focused display experience. Users prioritizing smoothness and durability may lean toward OnePlus, but Poco offers the more flagship-like finish.

Specifications Including Battery

Performance

The Poco F8 Pro takes a clear lead in raw performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Adreno 830 GPU. Heavy gaming, multitasking, and AI-based processing feel effortless, placing it closer to ultra-premium Android flagships. The OnePlus Nord 6 still performs extremely well with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, offering smooth real-world usage and efficient thermal handling. It feels optimized for long gaming sessions rather than chasing benchmark numbers.

Battery and Charging

Battery life becomes the Nord 6’s biggest strength, especially with the massive 9000mAh India variant. It can comfortably stretch into two days for moderate users, something very few performance-focused phones can manage. The 80W charging is slower than Poco’s 100W system, but endurance matters more for many buyers. Poco charges significantly faster and still provides reliable all-day usage, though its smaller battery may feel less future-proof for power users.

Verdict

Poco F8 Pro wins outright for flagship-level performance, but the OnePlus Nord 6 stands out with unmatched battery endurance. The choice depends on whether raw power or long-lasting usage matters more.

Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses

The Poco F8 Pro delivers a more versatile camera setup with a dedicated 50MP telephoto lens, allowing cleaner portrait shots and better zoom quality. Its larger primary sensor also helps in low-light photography, producing more detailed and balanced images. Video recording is another major advantage, especially with 8K support and stronger slow-motion capabilities. The OnePlus Nord 6 keeps things simpler with a dual-camera setup focused on reliability rather than flexibility. Daylight shots remain sharp and vibrant, and the color tuning feels consistent across most conditions.

Selfie Camera

OnePlus gains an edge for selfie users with its 32MP front camera and 4K recording support. The sharper output and autofocus support help during video calls and social media recording. Poco’s 20MP front camera performs adequately but feels less impressive considering the price difference.

Verdict

Poco F8 Pro offers a stronger rear camera system and more professional versatility, while the OnePlus Nord 6 quietly becomes the better option for selfie-focused users and casual content creators.

Pricing

The OnePlus Nord 6 is priced at around ₹39,000, while the Poco F8 Pro reaches roughly ₹52,000. That gap changes the entire comparison because both devices target performance-focused buyers but approach value differently. OnePlus delivers flagship-grade gaming performance, a massive battery, advanced durability ratings, and a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display at a much lower price point. It feels aggressively positioned for buyers wanting maximum hardware without crossing premium flagship territory.

The Poco F8 Pro justifies its higher price through a better chipset, premium materials, stronger cameras, faster charging, and flagship-style finishing touches. It feels closer to ultra-premium Android devices rather than a typical value flagship. Buyers paying extra are clearly getting meaningful upgrades rather than small cosmetic improvements.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 offers stronger value for money overall, especially for gamers and battery-focused users. Poco F8 Pro justifies its premium pricing better for users wanting flagship cameras, build quality, and top-tier performance.

Disclaimer:
Prices are approximate and may vary based on country, region, launch timing, and applicable taxes. Always check whether the listed price is for a China unit or a global/international variant when purchasing.

Conclusion

The OnePlus Nord 6 stands out with its unusually massive battery, 165Hz AMOLED display, IP69K durability, and practical gaming-focused approach. It feels designed for buyers who want long endurance and consistently smooth performance without overspending. The Poco F8 Pro, meanwhile, pushes closer to flagship territory with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, premium glass-and-metal construction, telephoto camera, Dolby Vision support, and superior multimedia experience.

Both phones target power users, but their priorities are very different. OnePlus focuses on efficiency, endurance, and aggressive value, while Poco emphasizes flagship polish and maximum performance. That difference becomes noticeable in everyday usage rather than just specification sheets.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 is the smarter value-driven choice for most buyers, especially gamers and heavy users who prioritize battery life. The Poco F8 Pro feels more complete and premium overall, making it the better option for users willing to spend extra for flagship-level refinement.

Disclaimer: This comparison is based on the specifications provided and is intended for general informational purposes. Actual performance, camera results, battery life, and overall experience may vary depending on real-world usage, software updates, and individual preferences.

The mid-range smartphone segment is becoming more competitive than ever, and the OnePlus Nord 6 vs Nothing Phone (4a) comparison perfectly shows why. OnePlus is pushing aggressive flagship-grade performance and massive battery life, while Nothing is focusing on standout design, clean software, and a surprisingly versatile camera setup. Both phones target users looking for premium features without flagship pricing, but they take very different approaches to get there. Here’s a closer look at which device delivers the better overall experience for gaming, photography, daily usage, and long-term value.

Design and Display

Build and Feel

OnePlus Nord 6 and Nothing Phone (4a) approach design very differently. OnePlus focuses on durability and aggressive flagship-style hardware, offering IP68/IP69K protection along with MIL-STD-810H certification. It feels more practical for users who want a device that can survive rougher daily usage. The plastic back keeps the phone lighter in hand despite the massive battery inside, while the flat-frame styling gives it a modern, premium appearance.

Nothing Phone (4a) leans more toward visual personality. Its transparent-inspired design language, mini-LED glyph system, and glass back create a cleaner and more distinctive look. It feels more lifestyle-oriented and immediately stands out in a crowded mid-range segment. The phone does not offer the same water resistance level as the Nord 6, but the overall finish looks more premium.

Display Quality

Both devices use AMOLED panels with HDR10+ and strong peak brightness figures, but the Nord 6 clearly pushes harder on display hardware. Its 165Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and gaming feel exceptionally fluid, while the Snapdragon platform can better sustain high refresh gaming. The Nothing Phone (4a) counters with stronger peak brightness and slightly more natural tuning, which may feel easier on the eyes during media consumption.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 is the stronger option for durability, gaming visuals, and smoother responsiveness. The Nothing Phone (4a) feels more stylish and unique, especially for users who value design identity over raw hardware advantage.

Specifications Including Battery

Performance

Performance is one of the biggest differences between these two devices. OnePlus Nord 6 uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with UFS 4.1 storage, delivering near-flagship power. Gaming, multitasking, and long-term performance stability are noticeably stronger here. Heavy applications load faster, and the 165Hz panel complements the powerful GPU particularly well. It feels closer to a premium flagship than a traditional Nord-series phone.

Nothing Phone (4a) uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with UFS 3.1 storage. Daily performance remains smooth for social media, casual gaming, and multitasking, but it lacks the raw speed and sustained gaming power of the Nord 6. Nothing OS remains one of the cleaner Android skins, though, which helps the phone feel optimized in normal usage.

Battery and Charging

Battery capacity heavily favors the Nord 6, especially in India where it ships with a massive 9000mAh battery. Even the global variant’s 7500mAh unit is significantly larger than the Nothing Phone (4a)’s 5400mAh Indian model. Combined with 80W charging and bypass charging support, the Nord 6 clearly targets power users and gamers. The Nothing device still offers respectable endurance with decent 50W charging, but it prioritizes balance rather than extreme battery life.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 dominates in raw performance and battery endurance. The Nothing Phone (4a) feels smoother than expected thanks to software optimization, but users focused on gaming, longevity, and heavy usage will find the Nord 6 far more capable.

Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses

camera philosophies are very different here. The OnePlus Nord 6 keeps things simple with a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The main sensor should deliver reliable daylight shots with good stabilization and balanced colors, while 4K 60fps recording gives it decent video flexibility. However, the secondary camera setup feels more functional than exciting.

Nothing Phone (4a) is much more ambitious in photography. Alongside the 50MP primary camera, it adds a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. This instantly gives it an advantage for portraits and long-range photography, something rarely seen in this segment. Dolby Vision HDR recording also adds a more premium video experience. The ultrawide sensor is similar to the Nord 6 on paper, but the telephoto camera changes the overall versatility completely.

Selfie Camera

Both phones use 32MP selfie cameras, but the Nord 6 supports 4K selfie video recording, making it more suitable for creators and video-focused users. The Nothing Phone (4a) limits selfie video to 1080p, though its image processing may appeal to users preferring softer and more natural skin tones.

Verdict

Nothing Phone (4a) is the more versatile photography phone because of its periscope zoom camera and stronger video features. The Nord 6 counters with better selfie video capabilities and more dependable processing performance during heavy camera use.

Pricing

OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to cost around $460 or ₹39,000, while the Nothing Phone (4a) sits lower at roughly $400 or ₹32,000. That price gap creates two very different value propositions. The Nord 6 asks for more money, but it also delivers significantly stronger hardware in areas like chipset performance, display refresh rate, charging speed, and battery capacity. For users who keep phones for several years or regularly play demanding games, the extra cost feels justified.

Nothing Phone (4a), meanwhile, focuses on offering a more balanced and stylish experience at a lower entry price. The inclusion of a periscope telephoto camera at this price point makes it especially attractive for photography enthusiasts. Its software design and unique LED interface also give it a personality that many competitors lack.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 offers stronger hardware value for power users, while the Nothing Phone (4a) provides better lifestyle appeal and camera versatility for the price. The better value depends heavily on whether performance or overall experience matters more.

Disclaimer:
Prices are approximate and may vary based on country, region, launch timing, and applicable taxes. Always check whether the listed price is for a China unit or a global/international variant when purchasing.

Conclusion

OnePlus Nord 6 feels designed for users who want maximum specifications without stepping into true flagship pricing. Its enormous battery, flagship-grade Snapdragon chipset, 165Hz AMOLED display, and aggressive charging speeds make it one of the most performance-focused phones in its category. Features like bypass charging and advanced water resistance further strengthen its appeal for gamers and heavy users.

Nothing Phone (4a) takes a different route by emphasizing personality and camera versatility. The glyph lighting system, cleaner software experience, and periscope telephoto camera help it stand apart from typical mid-range Android devices. It feels more refined in daily lifestyle usage rather than purely benchmark-driven.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 is the better choice for users prioritizing gaming, battery life, and long-term performance. The Nothing Phone (4a) is the more stylish and photography-focused option with a stronger sense of identity. Both phones target different audiences successfully, which makes this comparison more about preference than outright superiority.

Disclaimer: This comparison is based on the specifications provided and is intended for general informational purposes. Actual performance, camera results, battery life, and overall experience may vary depending on real-world usage, software updates, and individual preferences.

The rollout is incremental, with a limited number of users receiving it initially, followed by a wider release in the coming days. The Indian variant carries version CPH2793_16.0.5.701(EX01), while the global model is labeled CPH2795_16.0.5.701(EX01).

The update focuses on usability improvements and system security. A key addition is support for running multiple timers at the same time, aimed at improving multitasking. Timers now also show estimated stop times, making it easier to track ongoing activities.

Another change comes to the Content Portal, which now supports app clones. This allows users to share content more easily between duplicate apps, a feature often used for managing multiple accounts.

In terms of connectivity, the update introduces a new toggle called “Automatically open received files.” This setting gives users control over whether shared files open immediately after being received, adding flexibility and reducing interruptions.

On the security side, the update integrates the March 2026 Android security patch. This brings the latest fixes and improvements aimed at protecting user data and system integrity.

As with most OTA updates, availability may vary depending on region and device batch, so users may receive the update over the next few days.

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 6 will launch in India, with the full details set to be announced on April 7 at 7:00 PM IST. The device is expected to be priced between ₹35,000 and ₹40,000 and is positioned around performance, gaming, and battery capacity.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm node. It uses a 1+3+4 CPU layout, led by a Cortex-X5 core clocked at up to 3.2GHz, along with an Adreno 835 GPU. In benchmark figures shared by the company, the device recorded an AnTuTu score of 2,503,854 under test conditions. OnePlus claims this gives it an edge in CPU, GPU, and AI performance within its segment, including over the Motorola Edge 60 Pro.

On the display side, the Nord 6 comes with a 1.5K AMOLED panel that supports a 165Hz refresh rate. It reaches 1800 nits in High Brightness Mode and up to 3600 nits peak HDR brightness. The panel also supports a minimum brightness of 2 nits and uses 3840 Hz PWM dimming for better visibility in low-light conditions.

Gaming features are a key focus. OnePlus says the device can deliver sustained 165 FPS gameplay in supported titles such as BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, and Free Fire MAX. It includes a dedicated Touch Reflex Chip that enables a 3200Hz instant touch sampling rate for quicker input response. A 6-axis gyroscope with ±4000dps sensitivity is also included for motion-based controls. Additional features include a Spatial Audio Booster for improved directional sound and Aqua Touch 2.0, which helps maintain touch accuracy even when the screen is wet.

The Nord 6 is equipped with a 9000 mAh battery based on silicon-carbon technology with 15 percent silicon content. OnePlus claims up to 2.5 days of moderate usage, 26.9 hours of YouTube streaming, or 6.3 hours of 4K video recording at 60 fps on a single charge. Charging is handled by 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging, with a claimed 0 to 100 percent time of around 70 minutes. The phone also supports Bypass Charging to reduce heat during heavy use and offers 27W wired reverse charging.

For connectivity, the device includes a dedicated G2 Wi-Fi chip and support for 5G Advanced networks. It will be available in Holographic Quick Silver, Fresh Mint, and Low-Reflection Pitch Black, and will be sold through Amazon India, the OnePlus India online store, and offline retail outlets.

OnePlus Nord 6 Naruto Limited Edition spotted

As can be seen above, the OnePlus Nord 6 Naruto Limited Edition moniker has appeared on the Repair & Services page on OnePlus India’s website, suggesting that this special edition will be announced alongside the regular version of the Nord 6.

This will be the second time a Nord series device will have a special edition version. To recall, the brand unveiled the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition in 2021. The Nord 6 Naruto Edition may come in a special package with theme-inspired elements.

OnePlus rumored to shut down in some markets

For the past few months, there have been rumors that OnePlus may shut down. One such report that emerged in January was refuted by OnePlus CEO Robin Liu, who said that OnePlus India’s business operations will continue as normal. Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has released a fresh post on X revealing that OnePlus is shutting down in some markets.

OnePlus is shutting down in select Global markets..

China business will stay unaffected.

India market will mostly get budget & mid-range products

(Not a good news for US, UK & EU customers)
— Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) March 23, 2026

Brar states that the brand will stop operating in markets like the US and Europe, including the UK. He added that the brand will remain unaffected in China, and as far as India is concerned, it will focus on budget and mid-range devices. This would be completely against the company’s original identity of launching flagship phones at aggressive pricing, which is why the initial OnePlus phones were dubbed “flagship killers.”

OnePlus is a brand known to connect well with its user base, whether it’s addressing issues like the infamous green line problem or responding to shutdown rumors. Hence, it is likely to soon release an official statement addressing the recent development.

OnePlus hasn’t revealed the phone’s design outright yet, but a recent teaser gives us a hint about where things might be headed. The teaser shows an X-ray-style view of a bag filled with everyday items and the phone itself.

OnePlus Nord 6 Teaser

The device’s design isn’t clearly visible, but the imagery highlights a large battery silhouette. That detail lines up neatly with one of the biggest claims circulating in the current round of leaks.

If those reports are accurate, the Nord 6 could feature a massive 9,000mAh battery. If true, that would likely make it the largest battery ever shipped in a OnePlus phone globally. The device is also expected to support 80W wired fast charging.

Performance

The OnePlus Nord 6 is widely expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The phone has already appeared on Geekbench with this processor, where it reportedly scored around 2,040 in the single-core test and roughly 6,520 in the multi-core test.

OnePlus Nord 6 Geekbench

The chip configuration includes a prime Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.21GHz, supported by multiple Cortex-A720 performance cores. Graphics duties are handled by an Adreno 825 GPU.

In practical terms, that should translate into smoother multitasking, better gaming performance, and more headroom for demanding apps.

There’s also mention of a self-developed G1 e-sports Wi-Fi chip, which is said to improve connection stability during gaming sessions.

Display upgrades

If the leaks are accurate, the Nord 6 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. That’s already in line with what you’d expect in this segment, but the phone is also rumored to support a whopping 165Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus Nord 6 Box Image

High-refresh-rate displays are common now, but 165Hz is still relatively rare outside gaming-focused devices. Whether most users will notice a meaningful difference compared to 120Hz or 144Hz is debatable, but OnePlus might target Nord 6 as a device built to handle high-frame-rate gaming more comfortably.

There’s also talk of dedicated 165Hz gaming modes, which, if properly optimized, could appeal to a specific group of users.

Cameras

While performance and battery upgrades are getting most of the attention, the camera setup could be more restrained. The Nord 6 is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera alongside a 2-megapixel secondary lens. On the front, the phone could include a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

That’s not necessarily a downside. The Nord series has typically focused on delivering a reliable main camera rather than chasing flagship-level versatility. The key will be consistent image processing.

Still, it’s safe to say the Nord 6 probably won’t be the phone you buy primarily for its camera system.

Software, memory, and color configurations

On the software side, the Nord 6 is expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box.

Memory and storage configurations are rumored to include 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, as well as a 12GB RAM variant with the same storage capacity.

Color options could include Black, Mint, and Silver.

A possible connection to the OnePlus Turbo 6

One recurring theme across multiple reports is that the Nord 6 could be closely related to the OnePlus Turbo 6, which has already been launched in China.

And this isn’t unusual. OnePlus has a long history of adapting its China-exclusive devices for global markets with minor tweaks. If that pattern holds, the Nord 6 could essentially be a refined version of the Turbo 6 with a few adjustments for international markets.

Launch timing and what comes next

As for when the Nord 6 might actually arrive, early reports point to a launch window in the first week of April 2026, with April 7 mentioned as a possible date.

OnePlus hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but its teaser campaign suggests an announcement may not be far off.

India is expected to be one of the first markets to receive the device. There’s also talk of a more affordable sibling, the Nord CE 6, which has already appeared in certification databases.

Just as the OnePlus Nord 6 recently surfaced on a benchmarking platform, a new leak has revealed what to expect from the upcoming mid-range smartphone. Tipster Yigesh Brar has shared an alleged box image of the device on X (formerly Twitter), along with key specifications and a possible launch timeline.

According to the leak, the OnePlus Nord 6 could feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

The Nord 6 appeared on Geekbench with the same chip, 12GB of RAM, and Android 16 OS. Its performance scores are 2,040 in single-core and 6,520 in multi-core tests.

In terms of cameras, the Nord 6 is tipped to include a 50MP primary sensor on the rear, accompanied by a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

One of the most exciting claims is the reported 9,000mAh battery. This could probably be the biggest battery OnePlus phone to launch globally. The device is also expected to support 80W fast charging.

The OnePlus Nord 6 may be offered in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Color options are said to include Black, Mint, and Silver.

OnePlus Nord 6’s possible launch timeframe

As for availability, the tispater says the device could launch in the first week of April. April 7 is the most likely date.

Alongside the Nord 6, OnePlus may also introduce the OnePlus Nord CE 6. It recently appeared in India’s Bureau of Indian Standards certification database. That model is expected to target a more affordable segment of the market.

OnePlus has started teasing a new Nord phone in India, and all signs point to it being the upcoming Nord 6. Ahead of its official debut, the device has appeared on Geekbench with model number CPH2793.

According to the benchmark listing, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The configuration includes a prime Arm Cortex‑X4 core clocked at 3.21GHz, alongside a cluster of Arm Cortex‑A720 performance cores running at different speeds. Graphics duties are handled by the Adreno 825 GPU.

The benchmark numbers themselves look promising. The Nord 6 scores 2,040 in single-core tests and 6,520 in multi-core on Geekbench. Synthetic benchmarks don’t always tell the whole story, but these figures suggest the device should have plenty of horsepower for gaming, multitasking, and heavier apps.

The listing also confirms 12GB of RAM and the presence of Android 16.

OnePlus Nord 6 could borrow from Turbo 6

If earlier reports are accurate, the Nord 6 could borrow several specs from the OnePlus Turbo 6. That may include a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and possibly a 165Hz refresh rate. Another standout feature could be a massive 9,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging.

OnePlus Turbo 6

Alongside the Nord 6, OnePlus may also introduce the OnePlus Nord CE 6. It recently appeared in India’s Bureau of Indian Standards certification database. That model is expected to target a more affordable segment of the market.

OnePlus hasn’t confirmed a launch date just yet, but early reports suggest the Nord 6 series could make its global debut around April 2026. India is likely among the first markets to get it. We will keep you in the loop if we receive new details on it.

OnePlus appears to be gearing up for the next chapter of its Nord lineup. The company’s India account recently posted a short teaser on X (formerly Twitter), hinting that a new Nord device could be on the way soon.

The post carries the line “Entering the Nord era soon” alongside the hashtag #OnePlusNord. The image itself is fairly cryptic. It shows an X-ray-style view of a bag containing everyday items like earbuds, keys, a charger, and a smartphone. The phone’s design is mostly hidden, though the OnePlus logo and a large battery silhouette stand out. It’s clearly meant to spark curiosity rather than reveal much about the device.

While OnePlus hasn’t confirmed the model name yet, many signs point to the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6. A device believed to be the Nord 6 (model CPH2795) previously appeared on Geekbench, where it was listed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. If accurate, that would mark a major performance jump for the series, bringing near-flagship levels of power for gaming, multitasking, and AI features.

There’s also speculation that the Nord 6 could be closely related to the OnePlus Turbo 6, a phone already launched in China. OnePlus has followed a similar strategy before, releasing slightly modified versions of its China-only models for global markets like India and Europe.

If the connection holds, the Nord 6 could inherit several of the Turbo 6’s key specs. Leaks suggest a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and possibly a 165Hz refresh rate. Another headline feature could be a massive 9,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging.

Alongside the Nord 6, OnePlus may also introduce the Nord CE 6, which recently appeared in India’s BIS certification database. That model is expected to target a more affordable segment.

While OnePlus hasn’t confirmed a launch date yet, early reports suggest the Nord 6 series could debut globally around April 2026, with India likely among the first markets. For now, the teaser campaign suggests the company is just getting started.

A fresh GeekBench listing has revealed some key details regarding the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6. This is the brand’s next mid-range smartphone model, and its benchmark sighting has revealed a high end chipset along with its RAM and Android iteration. So here are all the details.

OnePlus Nord 6 launching with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4

The OnePlus Nord 6 has appeared on the GeekBench 6.5 benchmarking platform under the model number CPH2795, offering us a glimpse into its hardware configuration. It can be seen equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The smartphone scored around 2,019 points in single-core tests and 6,503 points in multi-core benchmarks. This listing also confirmed that the device will run on the Android 16 OS out of the box, which is likely with the OxygenOS 16 custom skin for the global market.

OnePlus’ new Nord 6 was spotted by Gadgetsdata, who shared more details on X (formerly Twitter). Looking at this tweet, the device will reportedly sport a flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the rear features a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. While the storage capacity wasn’t confirmed, the tipster believes that the device will offer UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to house a gigantic 9,000mAh battery pack that could support 80W wired fast charging.

For selfies and video calls, the front houses a 32MP shooter. The GeekBench listing did not reveal any other finer details like its launch timeline, but this does hint at its imminent release. OnePlus is probably is in the final stages ahead of release, and we can expect an early 2026 debut.

According to an X post by tech blogger Yogesh Brar, there is a nearly 90 percent chance that the OnePlus 15s has been cancelled.
OnePlus is gearing up to launch a bunch of new anticipated smartphones soon. One of these is the latest model from the brand’s popular Nord lineup. Now, the Nord 6 just got certified ahead of its official announcement, so here’s what was revealed.

OnePlus Nord 6 spotted on TÜV certification

The Chinese tech giant’s upcoming Nord 6 was previously spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification with the CPH2795 model number. A device with the same model number TÜV’s database as well. While finer details like chipset, battery, and design weren’t revealed in the certification, the OnePlus Nord 6 was confirmed to support 80W wired fast charging. Not much is known about the Nord 6 at this moment, but recent rumor have hinted at this device being a global rebrand of the new OnePlus Turbo 6.

OnePlus Nord 5

If this is true, we can speculate about its key specs and features. Based on what we know so far, the Nord 6/Turbo 6 will sport a tall 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, both models will likely be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, which could be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

A massive 9,000mAh battery pack will reportedly power this phone, with support for 80W wired and 27W reverse wired charging support. For photography, the rear is expected to pack a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front may house a 16MP selfie shooter. Other notable features could include an IP68 ++ IP69 + IP69K rating for water and dust resistance, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Android 16 OS based ColorOS 16/OxygenOS 16 custom skin out of the box.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 has reached a significant milestone in its journey toward a global release. The device has recently received certification from TDRA authority in the UAE. This follows a previous appearance on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification database in December 2025. These recurring appearances across multiple regulatory bodies strongly suggest that OnePlus is preparing for an imminent launch, with the Nord 6 likely to debut in the first quarter of 2026.

OnePlus Nod 6 TDRA certified

The TDRA listing has officially associated the OnePlus Nord 6 moniker with the model number CPH2795. This is notably the same model number that was revealed through the SIRIM listing last month. While these certifications are essential for legal sale in their respective regions, they are typically limited in the hardware details they provide.

OnePlus Nord 6 TDRA listing

Beyond confirming the model number and the product name, no specific internal hardware or design features have been disclosed by these regulatory filings.

OnePlus Nord 6 specifications (rumored)

While official specifications for the OnePlus Nord 6 remain under wraps, recent rumors suggest it will be a rebranded or slightly tweaked version of the OnePlus Turbo 6, which is scheduled to launch in China on Jan. 8, 2026. Based on the Turbo 6, the Nord 6 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution OLED display with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate.

The Turbo 6 will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The Turbo 6 is confirmed to pack a massive 9,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging. For photography, it may carry a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

It is expected to run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 (for the China model) or OxygenOS 16 (globally). Other anticipated features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a durable plastic frame, and high-level water resistance with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.

OnePlus is expected to broaden its performance-focused Ace 6 lineup in China with a new Turbo-branded phone. Details shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station include the processor category, screen profile, and an unusually large battery for the price segment. While it is expected to be named the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo in China, its specifications appear strong enough to support a global rebrand as the OnePlus Nord 6.

According to the tipster, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip will drive the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo. It is also said to pack a massive 9,000mAh battery, but there is no information about its fast charging capabilities.

The leak states that the device will feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED panel paired with 1.5K resolution, with expectations of either 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rate support, depending on final tuning. The rest of the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo’s details remain undisclosed.

OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo launch timeframe (rumored)

The OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo may go official in January or early February in China, ahead of the Chinese Spring Festival. Once launched, it is expected to rival new devices built on the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, including the Redmi Turbo 5 and Realme Neo 8 SE.

As for the OnePlus Nord 6, it is expected to debut in the second quarter of 2026. Readers are advised to wait for newer reports before concluding whether the OnePlus Nord 6 will be a rebranded or modified version of the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo.
