OnePlus has finally unveiled its budget TWS earbuds that offer some impressive specs. The Nord Buds 3 was just released in India with upgraded ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), longer battery life, and an affordable price tag. So here’s everything you need to know.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Specs

The company launched the Nord Buds 3 with a pebble shaped case that has a glossy or matte finish depending on the color variant. It has a stem design with silicon ear tips. These are equipped with 12.4mm dynamic drivers with Basswave Enhancement. OnePlus’ new budget hearables connect via Bluetooth 5.4 and SBS and AAC codecs. There is also dual microphones for Clear Call (AI call noise reduction).

The Nord Buds 2 launched with 25dB ANC, but the Nord Buds 3 offers 32dB ANC. So buyers get an upgraded noise cancellation. The brand promises up to 43 hours of total audio playback on a single full charge, with the earbuds offering 12 hours with ANC off and 8 hours with ANC on. It even supports Flash Charge, which offers 11 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. Other notable features include an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance and touch controls.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 arrives in two color options, namely Melodic White and Harmonic Gray. It will be available for purchase via Amazon India, Flipkart, the official OnePlus website, OnePlus Stores, and offline retails like Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Croma, and others. It carries a 2,299 INR price tag with its first sale kicking off on 20th September 2024. OnePlus is offering an instant bank discount of 200 INR on ICICI and OneCard Credit card holders. OnePlus has announced the launch date for its upcoming budget-friendly earbuds, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3. These earbuds will be released in India on September 17th at 12 PM. The company has set up a microsite on its official website with more details.

While specific features of the Nord Buds 3 haven’t been revealed yet, they are expected to share similarities with the previous model, the Nord Buds 3 Pro. The earbuds will likely come with an oval-shaped charging case and be available in two color options. Earbuds with the model number E512A have surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards. Though the certification doesn’t explicitly mention the device’s name, there’s speculation that these could be the OnePlus Nord Buds 3.

While information about the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 is limited, a leaked render indicates a departure from the previous burly design, opting for slimmer stems. Additionally, the case is also undergoing a redesign to an oval shape. A new OnePlus truly wireless earbuds seem to be on the horizon. The company’s next hearables could be the Nord Buds 3, which is a part of the brand’s affordable product lineup. Now, the full design of this device has been revealed via 5K CAD renders.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Design

The renders were shared by known tipster OnLeaks, who shared fresh images of the Nord Buds 3 with MySmartPrice. For those unaware, the OnePlus Nord series offers products at an affordable price range. So the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 will also be more affordable than its mainline OnePlus Buds series. Looking at the renders, the upcoming earbuds feature a pebble charging case that has a glossy lid cover while the rest of the case has a matte finish and the company branding.

Meanwhile, the earbuds come with an in-ear and stem design. As the name suggests, the Nord Buds 3 is the direct successor to the Nord Buds 2, which earlier this year. Unfortunately, no other finer details like pricing or specifications regarding the Nord Buds 3 were shared by the tipster. However, this isn’t the only new Buds model that the brand is working on. The OnePlus Buds 3 was recently spotted on major certification platforms like BIS and FCC.

This flagship grade hearables surfaced on a Canadian certification as well. Similar to the Nord Buds 3, the OnePlus Buds 3’s design was also revealed via leaked renders. Based on what we know so far, the Buds 3 will feature a dual driver setup that consists of a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. It is rumored to offer 48dC ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and feature an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance.
