The company has recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/03/01/oneplus-10-pro-global-launch-confirmed-march/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">confirmed</a> that the OnePlus 10 Pro will come to Indian, European, and US markets by the end of March.</p>
<p>Rumors also emerged of OnePlus working on a new smartphone codenamed “Oscar,” which is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/22/oneplus-oscar-in-the-works-possibly-oneplus-10/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">believed</a> to be the vanilla OnePlus 10 and is said to launch in Q2 2022. Now, potential back panel images of the OnePlus 10 have surfaced online revealing a pretty distinct camera module to its Pro counterpart.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-447267 size-large" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow-576x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="576" height="1024" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow-576x1024.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow-768x1365.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow-696x1237.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow-1068x1899.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow-236x420.jpg 236w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/006pzkKggy1gzu8foynb2j30u01hcwow.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px" /></p>
<p>According to a <a href="https://weibo.com/5874626620/LhHaZpvyq" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Weibo</a> tipster, the image is obtained from industry sources, although there is not much information as to which model the back panel actually belongs to. Looking at the design, there is no stovetop camera module present, and instead, it looks similar to the camera of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-12/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Xiaomi 12</a>.</p>
<p>It appears to have one massive primary camera located in the top left corner and three other cutouts which could house an ultrawide camera, a telephoto camera, and even a monochrome camera. The pictures also reveal that the device will at least come in white and Matte black colors.</p>
<p>Unrelatedly, OnePlus is also said to be working on the next generation of Nord smartphone dubbed the OnePlus Nord 3. So far, it has been revealed to have a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will likely have a centered positioned punch-hole for the selfie camera.</p>
<p>It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor with four Cortex-A78 cores. The chipset will support LDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The rear side of the phone will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera and will draw power from a 4,500mAh battery. It will have a 150W fast charging support and is likely to boot Android 12 OS. This smartphone is also rumored to hit the markets in the second quarter of 2022.</p>

<p>According to a <a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/oneplus-oscar-launch-q2-2022-exclusive/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>91mobiles</em></a> report, known tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed that OnePlus is working on a new smartphone codenamed &#8220;Oscar.&#8221; Brar has also stated that the device will be part of the brand&#8217;s numbered series of smartphones ( like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-9/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">OnePlus 9</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-9-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">9 Pro</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-10-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">10 Pro</a>, etc.). There is currently no information available on the device&#8217;s specs or name, however, the tipster states that the OnePlus &#8220;Oscar&#8221; will debut in Q2 2022. Meaning we can expect a new OnePlus launch between April and June.</p>
<p>As the brand has just unveiled the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone last month, it is safe to assume that this is not the OnePlus 11. However, the company is yet to release the vanilla OnePlus 10 in any market, leading us to believe that the OnePlus &#8220;Oscar&#8221; might be the codename for the OnePlus 10. We can expect the OnePlus 10 to also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC as the company has always released their flagships with the same chipsets. Other than that, we can look at the spec sheet of the OnePlus 10 Pro to get an idea of what to expect from the vanilla variant.</p>
