<p>OPPO has officially announced its roadmap for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/coloros-11">ColorOS 11</a> rollout or adaptation for its smartphones for the current month, i.e. May 2021. The company has confirmed that it will starts beta tester recruitment for the OPPO A32 users from 19th May.</p>

<p>Later, on 20th May, the company will be recruiting testers for the OPPO A11, A11x, A9, and A9x users. A week after that, on May 26th, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-z-helio-p90/">OPPO Reno Z</a> users will be able to take part in this ColorOS 11 beta testing program.</p>
<p>To take part in this, go to Settings &gt; Software Update on your smartphone and then click on the Settings icon in the upper-right corner. From the options, select Upgrade Early Adopters. Agree to the terms and click on the &#8220;Apply now&#8221; button.</p>
<p>After completing the application to be a beta tester, you can click on the &#8220;Check Update&#8221; button and get download the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/coloros">ColorOS</a> 11 on your phone to start using it.</p>
<p>OPPO has revealed that the public beta testing version of the new ColorOS operating system focuses on the early experience and may have stability issues. It might not be suitable for day-to-day usage so it&#8217;s a good idea to not use it on your primary device.</p>
<p>The stable version rollout should begin after a few weeks of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/public-beta">public beta testing</a> and the company has also said that the official stable version should roll out through over-the-air (OTA) updates in China.</p>

The newly unveiled OPPO A11 is the rebadged version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-a5-2020">OPPO A5 (2020)</a> that was announced in India last month along with the OPPO A9 (2020).</p>

<p>The rear side of the OPPO A11 has a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup like the OPPO A11x. The frontside of the phone has a 16-megapixel lens. The massive 4,880mAh battery is packed inside the device that can be charged through USB-C port. A fingerpint scanner is placed below the quad camera system. The color variants of the smartphone are black, white, purple and green. The listing states that the handset will be priced at 1,599 Yuan (~$223).</p>
<p>The OPPO A11 resembles with OPPO A11x in terms of design and specs. The only major difference is that the A11x has 8 GB of RAM and the upcoming A11 has 4 GB of RAM.</p>
<p>On Oct. 10, OPPO will be announcing the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-ace">OPPO Reno Ace</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-k5">OPPO K5</a> in China. <p>The Oppo A11x measures 163.6 x 75.6 x 9.1 mm and it weighs a hefty 195 grams. On the front of the smartphone sits a 6.5 inch LCD display that has a screen to body ratio display of 82.5 percent. The display panel has a pixel density of 270 ppi and 20:9 aspect ratio.</p>
<p>The display of the Oppo A11x is encompassed by thin bezels on all sides, except for the bottom chin which is comparatively thicker. It also features a waterdrop notch on the front which houses an f/2.0 aperture equipped 16 MP selfie camera which is also capable of recording 1080p videos.</p>

<p>The rear panel of the Oppo A11x is made out of glass with a gradient finish that looks premium. The rear of the device harbours the company branding, fingerprint scanner and a quad-camera module which slightly protrudes from the surface. <p>The Oppo A11x is kitted with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC which is manufactured using 11 nm fabrication process. The chipset consists of the Adreno 610 GPU and Octa-Core CPU. In order to provide the best of both worlds i.e battery and performance the CPU is divided into two clusters that have different clock speed and architecture, which are listed below:</p>

<p>As previously mentioned, the Oppo A11x is kitted with a 5,000 mAh battery. The handset runs on ColorOS 6 which is built on top of Android 9 Pie. Connectivity options on the device include 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, USB Type C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Other noteworthy features of the smartphone include Game Boost 2.0 and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.</p>

In addition to the built-in storage, it also supports memory expansion upto 256 GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The handset is priced at CNY 1,799 and is available for purchase from Oppo&#8217;s official online store and JD shop.</p>
