OPPO China recently announced ColorOS 12 update plan for December 2021. Now, the international division of the company also unveils its Android 12 update schedule for this month. Let’s take a look at which devices get access to the beta and the stable releases.

According to the official Twitter account of ColorOS, 9 smartphones will receive ColorOS 12 beta in December 2021. At the same time, 7 handsets will be updated to ColorOS 12 stable.

In the home country, OPPO has scheduled to deliver the beta update for some phones from 2020 this month. But in global markets, beta builds will be limited to 2021 devices for now. Further, the phones that received the beta update in November will get the stable update.

OPPO unveiled ColorOS 12 in China last month. Today, the company has announced the latest version of its mobile operating system based on Android 12 for global markets. At the end of the virtual launch event, it also shared the update roll-out timeline. Let’s take a look at when the international variants of OPPO smartphones will receive the fresh version of ColorOS.

Just like last year with ColorOS 11, OPPO has revealed a beta roll-out schedule for Android 12-based ColorOS 12 for global markets. The company plans to upgrade 110+ devices and cover 150 million users across the world with the new version of its mobile operating system.

OPPO claims that ColorOS 12 rollout will be the fastest and widest in the company’s history. Additionally, it has also updated its software update policy. The firm says that it will provide up to three Android updates and four years of security updates.

The ColorOS 12 Beta update for the above-listed phones will be rolled out in batches. The stable build will be made available once the issues are ironed out from feedback from beta testers.

Last but not least, this update plan is not applicable to the carrier variants.
