OPPO has launched the Enco Free 4 earbuds in China. They come with active noise cancellation up to 55dB, covering a 5500Hz frequency range. The earbuds detect noise 800 times per second, which helps reduce human voice interference by 200%. The ANC is TÜV Rheinland certified.

There are three microphones on each earbud—feedforward, feedback, and call mic. These work with AI to improve voice clarity during calls. The earbuds adjust ANC or transparency modes automatically depending on your surroundings, like quiet rooms or busy streets.

The Star Ceramic Silver version includes sound tuning by Dynaudio. The audio setup includes an 11mm bass driver and a 6mm planar tweeter. The earbuds support Hi-Res Wireless Audio through LHDC 5.0 (192kHz, 1Mbps), use dual DACs, and offer spatial audio with ear canal-based tuning.

Smart features include real-time translation, call summaries (triple-tap to activate), and face-to-face interpretation. Bluetooth 5.4 provides a 400-meter range and works well even in crowded places like train stations. The earbuds can also switch audio automatically between OPPO devices, like phones and tablets.

Each earbud weighs 4.7g and is IP55-rated for dust and water resistance. They include a 62mAh battery each, and the case holds 530mAh. Battery life depends on the codec and ANC usage:

• AAC Codec:
  • ANC off: 11 hours (buds), 45 hours (with case)
  • ANC on: 6 hours (buds), 24 hours (with case)
• LHDC Codec:
  • ANC off: 9 hours (buds), 37 hours (with case)
  • ANC on: 5.5 hours (buds), 22 hours (with case)

Charging takes about 50 minutes for the earbuds and 80 minutes for the case using USB-C. A companion app supports battery status, ANC controls, spatial audio, game mode, dual-device pairing, theme settings, and find-my-earbud features.

Pricing & availabilty

The Enco Free 4 is now up for pre-order in China. Sales start April 16, 2025. Prices are 449 yuan for the Star Ceramic Silver (~$61) and 399 yuan for the Water Blue version (~$55).

Oppo has confirmed that it will hold a launch event on April 10 to announce the new Find X8 series of smartphones, the Pad 4 Pro, the Watch X2 Mini, and the Enco Free 4 TWS earbuds for the Chinese market. Ahead of the launch, the company has started pre-orders for all these products through its official website. This post focuses on the design, colour options, and configurations of the tablet, smartwatch, and earbuds.

Oppo Pad 4 Pro

The Oppo Pad 4 Pro will be available in configurations such as 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. It will be sold in shades like Morning Light, Galaxy Silver, and Space Gray. The above images provide the first look at the design of the tablet, which showcases slim bezels on the front and a vertical camera module housing a single camera and an LED flash.

According to reports, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch LCD panel that offers a 3.4K resolution. It will be the world’s first tablet to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is expected to pack a 12,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

Oppo Watch X2 Mini, Enco Free 4

The Watch X2 Mini will be available in three shades: Morning Silver, Starry Black, and Tomorrow Gold. On the other hand, the Enco Free 4 will be sold in colors like Dynaudio Star Silver and Water Blue.

Oppo is yet to confirm the specifications of the smartwatch and earbuds. According to reports, the Watch X2 Mini will have a 42mm dial designed for female users instead of the 46mm dial available on the Watch X2. Apart from a smaller display and battery, the rest of the specs could be identical to the Watch X2.

Oppo has officially announced that it will unveil the much-awaited Find X8 Ultra flagship phone at a launch event on April 10 in China. Apart from this, the brand has also confirmed that it will launch a slew of new devices, including a flagship tablet, a small-sized smartwatch, and new earbuds.

Upcoming Oppo devices set to launch on April 10

According to the company, the upcoming event will introduce the compact flagship Oppo Find X8s and its larger version, dubbed the Find X8s+. Alongside these smartphones, Oppo is expected to reveal new ecosystem products, including the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, Oppo Watch X2 Mini, and Oppo Enco Free 4 earbuds.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is set to be the brand’s most powerful flagship of the year. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will feature a 2K OLED flat display, making it the only Ultra phone with such a design. The device will house a 6,000mAh battery with high-speed wired and wireless charging support.

In terms of imaging, the Find X8 Ultra is expected to sport a Hasselblad-branded quad-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 one-inch primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, two periscope telephoto lenses (3x and 6x optical zoom), and an additional multispectral sensor for enhanced colour accuracy. The phone is also designed to be ultra-thin, with a body measuring under 9mm in thickness.

The Find X8s is designed as a compact flagship with a 6.3-inch ultra-thin bezel display, potentially the narrowest of any smartphone. It is expected to be powered by the forthcoming Dimensity 9400+ chipset, with a lightweight design under 180 grams and a slim 7.8mm profile. The Find X8s+ is also expected to feature the D9400+.

The Pad 4 Pro will debut as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablet, whereas the Watch X2 Mini is said to be a 42mm small-sized version of the existing Watch X2. The brand is yet to share details about the Enco Free 4.
