Oppo is gearing up to introduce several new devices in the Indian market over the next few weeks. The company has already made it known that the Find N3 Flip is on its way, and we’ve previously informed you about their intentions to release a fresh tablet and the Oppo A38. Tipster Mukul Sharma has said that the brand will also be debuting the Oppo Enco M33 earbuds soon.

As per a tweet by Mukul, the Oppo Enco M33 will be launching alongside the Oppo A38. The tipster earlier said that the A38 smartphone will debut in India in September only. For those unaware, the Oppo Enco M33 neckband earbuds were launched in China earlier this month. Basically, they are a rebrand of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 earbuds. You can also expect them to be priced similarly to the Bullets Wireless Z2. Keep reading for the specifications and features of the Oppo Enco M33 earbuds.

The OPPO Enco M33’s active noise cancellation can reduce ambient noise by an impressive 45dB, while the audio quality is top-notch, thanks to its sizeable 12.4mm dynamic drivers delivering Hi-Fi sound. With a playback time of up to 28 hours with ANC off or 20 hours with ANC on, it ensures extended usage. Additionally, rapid charging is a highlight, granting 20 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging.

The device has AI Call Noise Cancellation for improved call clarity and connects seamlessly via Bluetooth 5.2. The inline remote makes managing music and power/pairing controls convenient, and its IP55 rating ensures resistance against water and dust.

Oppo Enco M33 neckband earbuds with 45dB ANC goes on sale for 249 yuan ($35)

Last week, Oppo launched the Oppo Enco M33 neckband earbuds in China. The earbuds are essentially the same as the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 which recently launched in India. While the Bullets Wireless Z2 will start selling from August 17, the Oppo Enco M33 has already gone on sale in China.

Oppo Enco M33 specs & availability

In China, the Oppo Enco M33 is available for 249 yuan, which is roughly equivalent to $35. It comes in two color choices: Obsidian Black and Cangling Green.

Specs-wise, the Enco M33 comes up to 45dB active noise cancellation. The earbuds promise Hi-Fi level sound quality, though it is worth noting that they don’t have Hi-Res Audio-certification or feature support for codecs like LDAC. That being said, the earbuds feature large 12.4mm dynamic drivers.

The Enco M33 claim to offer up to 28 hours of playback time when noise reduction is turned off and 20 hours when it’s turned on. Additionally, the device supports fast charging, allowing for 20 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging.

Additionally, the earbuds also offer AI Call Noise Cancellation for clearer calls even in noisy environments. The earphones connect through Bluetooth 5.2 and can quickly pair with devices using ColorOS, which covers Realme UI and OxygenOS. You can control music and manage power/pairing using the inline remote. They are IP55 certified meaning that they are ideal for workouts and outdoor activitied.

Oppo has quietly launched a new pair of neckband-style earphones in China. Officially called Oppo Enco M33, this pair is the successor of Oppo Enco M32 from last year.

The M32 was a downgrade over the M31 from 2020. However, at least on paper, the newer M33 is an upgrade over the outgoing M32.

Let’s go through all the features the Oppo Enco M33 neckband-style wireless earphones offer.

Oppo Enco M33 Specifications

The Oppo Enco M33 looks more like the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2. Thus, it does not sport winged ear tips like the Enco M32.

The buds house 12.4mm drivers and are claimed to deliver Hi-Fi sound output. But the earphones are neither Hi-Res Audio-certified nor support codecs like LDAC.

Anyways, the drivers are larger than the 10mm ones found inside its predecessor. Also, the latest model carries support for up to 45dB ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), which makes it the first in the series.

The product also provides AI-powered ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) for calls. It is IP55-rated for splash resistance, and therefore, can be used while working out or even in light rains.

The earphones connect via Bluetooth 5.2 and support instant pairing with devices running ColorOS (including Realme UI and OxygenOS). The buds feature magnets for pause/play functionality and quickly answer calls.

There’s an inline remote control for music playback controls and power/pairing. The accessory ships with three different-sized ear tips and a USB Type-A to Type-C cable.

The Oppo Enco M33 is rated to last for 28 hours on a full charge with ANC disabled at 50% volume. With active noise cancellation enabled, the battery life drops to 20 hours.

Last but not least, Oppo claims up to 20 hours of battery life (ANC disabled at 50% volume) with only 10 minutes of charging.

The Oppo Enco M33 is priced at ¥249 (~$35) in China. It is offered in Obsidian Black and Cangling Green color options.

The product is currently up for pre-order in the region. It should make its way to other markets in the coming days, just like its predecessor.
