Back in December 2020, OPPO started recruiting beta testers for OPPO F11 Pro Android 11-based ColorOS 11 update. Months later, this smartphone has finally started receiving the stable update.

OPPO announced ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 in September. Since then, the company has been delivering beta and stable builds for eligible devices worldwide.

Going by the schedule, OPPO opened beta registrations for OPPO F11 Pro and OPPO F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition in December. However, even after four months, the company did not make an official announcement regarding the stable release.

Instead, the firm vaguely mentioned in ColorOS 11 April 2021 update plan that the stable update for the OPPO F11 Pro, the OPPO F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition, and the OPPO F11 has been released. 

But now, we can confirm that the Android 11 stable build has been indeed released for the OPPO F11 Pro. Since Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition runs the same software, the update should be also available for this variant of the phone.

This information comes from a reply tweet by ColorOS official Twitter handle (via PiunikaWeb). Unfortunately, the tweet does not mention the firmware version.

Anyway, if you own an OPPO F11 Pro, then head over to Settings > Software update to check whether your unit has received the ColorOS 11 stable update. If you did not get it, then wait a bit further as it may take some time since it is being rolled out in batches.

Lately, Oppo has been pushing stable ColorOS 7 update based on Android 10 to the eligible devices in China after being delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the global versions of these devices are getting a similar treatment. The handsets that are currently receiving the OTA update are listed along with their respective builds in a table below.

Since the update is being rolled out through OTA (over the air), it is being seeded out to units in batches. Hence, it might take time to reach every user. In order to check whether your device has received the update, head over to Settings -> Software Updates section.

Oppo had initially released the ColorOS 7 system update which was based on Android 10 OS back in November 2019. Since then, it has brought the update to a number of devices and is now also looking to include the Oppo F11 and F11 Pro smartphones as well.

Oppo is opening for trial tests or public beta testing for  Oppo F11, F11 Pro and F11 Avengers Edition as well. For those interested, keep in mind that the number of seats for beta testing is currently limited. So, if you are not eligible for the first build, be ready as Oppo plans on further expanding testers numbers for the future beta builds that should arrive shortly after.

To opt for the beta testing, owner’s of the Oppo F11 series with the official stable software build must go to “Settings” > “Software Update” > then click the button on the upper right corner and select “Trial Version.” Users must then agree to the terms and conditions from the company and click on the “Apply Now.” Once this is done, check for updates in the Software Update section which will now have the latest beta build.
Note: Beta builds are unpolished versions of a future user interface, OS, skins, etc. so one might face lags, stutters, and the odd bugs every now and then.

Oppo has stated that the beta tests are only for enthusiasts looking to better the experience for the community as a whole. In other words, the testers will have to check the stability of the build and actively report any bugs or issues that they encounter; a few of them might make devices unusable so keep the risks in mind. Lastly, the ColorOS Community application can be used to report on any bugs or glitches.

Retail sources have revealed that both smartphones will receive a price drop of up to Rs. 2,000 (~$23). The updated pricing will be applicable exclusively at the offline stores at the moment. The F11 duo will continue to sell at their regular prices on Flipkart and Amazon.

The revised pricing of the OPPO F11 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage is Rs. 16,990 (~$241). The 6GB + 128GB variant can be yours for Rs. 17,990 (~$255). The smartphones cost Rs. 17,990 (~$255) and Rs. 19,990 (~$283) respectively at an online retail store. The OPPO F11 Pro is available offline at Rs. 21,990 (~$311). Months after launching the Oppo F11 Pro smartphone in the Indian market, the Chinese company has now introduced a new color option — Waterfall Grey. The phone is already available in two other colors — Aurora Green and Thunder Black.

The Oppo F11 Pro Waterfall Grey is priced at ₹23,990 in the Indian market and come in just one configuration — 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is being launched as a part of the Amazon Prime Day sale in India.

The smartphone features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Panoramic display offering a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and 90.9 percent screen to body ratio. The phone does not feature any kind of notch and instead comes with an elevating camera that houses the front camera sensor.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the popular mid-range chipset from MediaTek — Helio P70. The octa-core processor is manufactured using a 12nm process. The phone also features a Hyper Boost technology that basically optimizes the phone’s performance.

While these devices have a lot of things in common when it comes to aesthetics, there is a detail which would make me go for the Vivo S1 Pro. I am talking about the fingerprint scanner: while Oppo F11 Pro has a traditional fingerprint reader placed on the back side, the Vivo S1 Pro has an in-display biometric sensor, so it has a cleaner and definitely more beautiful back cover. Another important difference is the position of the cameras: they are placed on the upper left part on the Vivo S1 Pro, while the Oppo F11 Pro has them at the upper center. Vivo S1 Pro is even more compact than the Oppo F11 Pro due to its smaller display.

Display

Samsung Galaxy A70 is equipped with a bigger and taller 6.7-inch display, and that is mainly the reason because I would choose it instead of its competitors. It comes with a rare but very elegant 20:9 aspect ratio and its colors are stunning. However, Vivo S1 Pro is still very nice as it is equipped with a Super AMOLED display provided by Samsung as well. Oppo F11 Pro is inferior due to its IPS panel, but it has a slightly bigger display than Vivo S1 Pro. That is also the reason why it does not have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Specs & Software

Oppo F11 Pro falls way behind its competitor because of its less powerful Helio P70 SoC by MediaTek. The winner here is definitely the Vivo S1 Pro as it comes with the Snapdragon 675 chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A70 is powered by a Snapdragon 675 too paired with up to 8 GB of RAM, but its internal storage is just 128 GB. All the phones run a customized user interface based on Android Pie: we got Funtouch OS for Vivo S1 Pro, Color OS for Oppo F11 Pro and One UI (which I prefer) for the Samsung Galaxy A70.

Camera

Talking about camera quality, the final battle is between the Vivo S1 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy A70. While the former comes with a higher resolution for the main sensor (48 vs 32 MP), the latter has brighter focal apertures, and it can also record 4K videos and 1080p videos with a frame rate up to 240 fps. Both come with a rear triple camera and a 32 MP front camera, but for the specifications listed above, I personally prefer the Samsung Galaxy A70. Oppo F11 Pro lacks the ultrawide lens and it only comes with a dual camera. Further, its front camera is inferior with just 16 MP.

Battery

Samsung Galaxy A70 wins the battery life comparison with a huge 4500 mAh unit and an incredibly fast charging technology, followed by the Oppo F11 Pro and its 4000 mAh battery with a still fast 20W charging technology.

Price

Vivo S1 Pro debuted with a starting price of €350/$390, Oppo F11 Pro costs just €320/$360 and Samsung Galaxy A70 starts from €400/$450. Samsung Galaxy A70 wins this comparison with its bigger battery and amazing cameras, but some may prefer the Vivo S1 Pro for its better design and a still great camera department.

Back in February, OPPO had an event in Lagos, Nigeria where it revealed its plans to enter the country’s smartphone market. Prior to then, it was already selling the mid-range OPPO A3 and OPPO A3s. On Friday, April 26, it launched its “upper mid-range” phone, the F11 Pro in the country.

The OPPO F11 Pro first launched in India last month. It’s selling point is its “rising” selfie camera which has a 16MP sensor. OPPO also unveiled the F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Editon too.

The F11 Pro will sell for NGN 139,000 while the Avengers Limited Edition will be sold for NGN 149,000. The former which comes in Aurora Green and Thunder Black was scheduled to be available for purchase yesterday while the latter will be available for pre-order on May 1 and be available for purchase on May 8.OPPO Nigeria also said it is providing a 2-year warranty on the F11 Pro.

The OPPO F11 Pro has a 6.53-inch 1080 x 2340 display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Helio P70 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is glass on the front but that gorgeous back is actually plastic.

Just like the Redmi Note 7 which also launched in Nigeria a few days ago, the F11 Pro also has a 48MP primary camera paired with a 5MP depth sensor. It runs ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie and packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology via a MicroUSB port (that’s a tad disappointing).

A few days ago, we reported that Oppo has partnered with Marvel to launch a limited edition smartphone for the promotion of its upcoming Avengers: Endgame movie. Well, the company has now finally launched the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition.

As expected, Oppo has officially launched the Oppo F11 Pro Avengers Edition smartphone in Malaysia. The phone is set to launch in the Indian market on 26th April and will be available for purchase exclusively through Amazon.in.

The smartphone comes with a Blue hue and glossy finish. It features Oppo’s signature gradient effects combined with an intricate hexagonal pattern and red Avengers logo completes the design.

The mid-range phone is a more interesting device compared to the Redmi Note 7, thanks to its motorized pop-up selfie camera. The F11 Pro (6GB+64GB) is also more expensive, with a price tag double that of the Redmi Note 7 (4GB+64GB version). Both phones share some similarities such as having a 4,000mAh battery and 48MP primary rear camera.

OPPO will announce the F11 Pro at an event in Nigeria on Friday, 26th of April, 2019.

The OPPO F11 Pro sells for INR 24,990 which roughly converts to NGN 130,000. At that price, there are a lot of options to choose from especially from more popular brands like Samsung and Huawei. Vivo V15 Pro comes with the Super AMOLED technology and 100 percent of DCI-P3 coverage, so it should offer a better color reproduction. Further, it does not have a notch, unlike the Samsung Galaxy A50.

Specs & Software

Vivo V15 Pro wins even when it comes to the hardware side. It has a definitely more powerful chipset: the new Snapdragon 675 that is also found on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. It is the best midrange SoC by Qualcomm alongside the Snapdragon 710 and it offers blazing speeds. Further, the Vivo V15 Pro is the only phone of this trio to come with up to 8 GB of RAM. And it also has a micro SD dedicated slot that allows using the dual SIM slot and the micro SD at the same time. All the handsets run a customized Android version, but I personally prefer Samsung’s one due to its smarter additional features, even though a lot of people think it is too heavy.

Camera

On the paper, the most impressive cameras belong to the Vivo V15 Pro. First of all, it comes with an amazing triple camera on the rear side, composed of a main 48 MP sensor, a secondary ultrawide sensor and a depth sensor, which can record video with 4K resolution. Further, it has a stunning 32 MP front camera for selfies which allows capturing very high definition photos. It is still a midrange setup, but it remains impressive. We give the second place to the camera department of the Samsung Galaxy A50 with a bright aperture for the main 25 MP sensor, a secondary ultrawide lens, and a depth sensor. The last place goes to the Oppo F11 Pro, but it does not mean that it is disappointing. It still has a great dual camera with a 48 MP main sensor just like the Vivo V15 Pro.

Battery

The battery life is a strong point of all of these handsets. Samsung Galaxy A50 and Oppo F11 Pro should be the longest lasting ones because they boast a big 4000 mAh battery. Given the AMOLED display and the SoC built with a 10 nm production process, Samsung Galaxy A50 should have a slightly longer battery life than Oppo F11 Pro. Vivo V15 Pro has a smaller 3700 mAh battery, so it is unlikely that it will reach its opponents. All the devices are equipped with a fast charging technology, but Vivo V15 Pro should be able to charge faster due to its smaller battery size and higher power for the fast charging technology (18W). According to the company, Vivo V15 Pro can reach 24 percent in just 15 minutes of charging.

Price

Vivo V15 Pro wins this comparison because of its better performances, amazing cameras, and innovative design, but it costs more: about €360/$405 in Asia. You can grab a unit of the Samsung Galaxy A50 in the global market for €350/$395, while Oppo F11 Pro costs about €320/$360.

Oppo has today finally launched its latest premium mid-range smartphone in India — the Oppo F11 Pro. As expected, the smartphone comes with an impressive design and the trendy pop-up front-facing camera.

The Oppo F11 Pro is priced at Rs. 24,990 in India, which roughly converts to $354. It will be available in two color options — Thunder Black and Aurora Green — both comes with a gradient design. Turning to the back aspect, the F11 Pro has a dual camera setup aligned vertically at the middle. The LED flash is at the top, followed by the main camera which is a 48MP sensor and the secondary sensor which is a 5MP sensor. All three share a single housing covered with glass. The premium mid-range model packs a fingerprint scanner just under the camera setup. At the bottom edge, the device packs a USB Type C as well as 3.5mm audio jack. The F11 Pro hands-on pictures equally reveal the power button and volume rockers are located on the left side of the display. On the right side, you get the SIM card tray as well as a dedicated button which we believe will be for Google Assistant.

The F11 Pro is an upcoming mid-range phone from OPPO. About a week ago, the full specs of the phone leaked online and it revealed it will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset. Today, live images of the phone along with that of its retail box have surfaced on the web.

The OPPO F11 Pro doesn’t have a notch or punch hole and its screen stretches to the top for an edge-to-edge appearance. It is able to achieve this thanks to its pop-up selfie camera design. There is a long and thin slit in the frame for the speaker.

The OPPO F11 Pro has a dual camera setup. At the top is the LED flash and the 48MP + 5MP dual camera sensors come next. All three share a single housing covered with glass. Below the camera setup is a fingerprint scanner and the words “DESIGNED BY OPPO”.

The OPPO F11 Pro is expected to be unveiled on March 5 at an event in Mumbai. It will have a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90.9% screen-to-body ratio. A couple of weeks back, OPPO shared a teaser which reveals the company is working on a device dubbed F11 Pro and packing a 48MP main camera at the rear. The teaser had also shown that the device will have an elevating front-facing camera. Apart from the camera, no other details of the F11 Pro have been reveal until now, thanks to a purported GeekBench listing. 

The device is said to have appeared on GeekBench as OPPO CPH1969 which is perhaps the codename but we couldn’t find it on the database. The listing shows it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The listing also shows the device will run on Android 9.0 Pie from the go but this will likely have OPPO’s custom Color 6 OS on top.

On the test score, the F11 Pro scored a total of 1571 points on the single core test and 5844 points on the multi-core test. This is consistent with the score of other mid-range models running Helio P70 chipset such as the Realme U1. In other rumours, the OPPO F11 Pro is expected to pack a 6.5-inch display and will have up to 128 GB storage. The device will also pack a big 4,000 mAh battery under its hood. OPPO is yet to reveal when the device will be launched.

Oppo has been teasing the Oppo F11 Pro smartphone on its social media profiles since past few days and now the company has confirmed that the device will be launched in India on 5th March. Ahead of the phone’s launch, its design has already been revealed by the company.

The teaser confirmed that the smartphone would be equipped with a 48-megapixel rear camera. It is speculated that the Chinese manufacturer will be debuting the OPPO F11 Pro in early March. Freshly leaked photos showing the unique rear design of the smartphone have surfaced on Weibo.

The leaked image shows the OPPO F11 Pro in two gradient color variants. The first is blue and second seems to a dark blue and purple. There is a unique vertical camera strip that extends to the top edge of the back panel. Below the camera strip is a fingerprint reader.

As mentioned above, the company has already confirmed that the dual camera module includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor.  With the AI Ultra-clear Engine backing onboard, the dual camera setup of the F11 Pro has been optimized to capture clearer images in low-light conditions. The AI Engine also takes care of other things like image stabilization and skin brightening.

The frontside of the OPPO F11 Pro were revealed in leaked photos that had appeared in the last month and also through a leaked poster that had surfaced this month. The smartphone is equipped with a notch-less display that is fitted with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Interestingly, the Vivo V15 Pro getting unleashed in India on Feb. 20 also features a notch-less display with 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. It comes with triple rear cameras and fast charging.

There is no concrete evidence available on the other specifications of the OPPO F11 Pro. However, it is speculated to be fueled by a MediaTek chipset. The SoC could be coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it may feature an internal storage of 128 GB. The company had introduced the OPPO F9 Pro as the first F-series phone with VOOC fast charging support. Hence, it is very likely that the upcoming F11 Pro will also carry support for it.

OPPO has just shared a teaser poster for the much-anticipated R11 Pro on Twitter. The teaser is all about the camera prowess of the device and it confirms the presence of a 48MP sensor. The teaser didn’t specify if the massive sensor will be on the front or rear but an earlier leak tips the device to pack a 32MP pop-up selfie camera. Thus, the 48MP will be the main sensor at the rear.

The teaser promotes the device with the hashtag #BrilliantPortrait. apparently in reference to the powerful selfie camera it packs. The tweet also promotes the low-light camera function of the model which indicates the device will have the AI super night mode feature.

  Although there is no date set for the R11 Pro’s launch, the device is expected to launch sometime in March. It recently got certifications in Indonesia and Thailand with a model number of CPH1969. The F11 Pro is expected to feature a high-end MediaTek SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. As for pricing, the OPPO F11 Pro is rumoured to be priced under Rs. 25,000 (~$350) in India when it is launched.

In the previous month, the OPPO F11 Pro had cleared certifications in multiple countries like Thailand and Indonesia. It has been revealed that the OPPO F11 Pro has a model number of CPH1969. Also, leaked photos that had surfaced earlier this month had revealed that the OPPO F11 Pro may sport a pop-up selfie camera and a dual camera module. Today, an Indian publication has shared leaked renders of the OPPO F11 Pro along with some of its key specs. The handset is speculated to debut early in the first week of the coming month in India.

The OPPO F11 Pro render reveals that it features a notch-less display with super-slim bezels. At the top-center of the rear panel is an LED enabled dual camera system. The vertical dual camera strip connects to top-edge of the rear shell. There is a fingerprint scanner below the camera module. The handset can be seen sporting a gradient color. It is expected to be available in multiple gradient color choices.

The OPPO F11 Pro will be fitted with a 48-megapixel primary sensor in its dual camera system. Probably, it will include the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor which is also available on the Redmi Note 7. The same sensor is also expected to be available on the upcoming Vivo V15 Pro that is scheduled to go official on Feb. 20. Like the V15 Pro, the OPPO F11 Pro will be also featuring a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. Couple of leaked shot of an upcoming OPPO smartphone have surfaced online. The smartphone is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera and a notch-less display. There is no confirmation yet on whether it belongs to the forthcoming OPPO F11 or OPPO R19 smartphone.

The OPPO F9 and OPPO R17 phones from last year were equipped with waterdrop notch enabled displays. As it can be seen in the below images, the mysterious OPPO smartphone features a notch-less screen. Hence, the smartphone is expected to deliver a marvelous viewing experience thanks to its high screen-to-body ratio.

The mysterious phone features a vertically arranged triple camera setup with a fingerprint scanner placed below it. The rear shell of the phone seems to be made out of glass.

The OPPO F-series phones have always featured horizontally aligned dual camera setup on the rear. Even the OPPO R-series until the R15 lineup from last year were launched with horizontal dual camera setup but the R17 and R17 Pro were fitted with vertical dual cameras. Also, both the R17 phones were equipped with in-display fingerprint scanner, while the F9 came with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Hence, it is difficult to determine whether the newly spotted handset is OPPO F11 or OPPO R19.

Another interesting feature on the mysterious OPPO is the presence of a pop-up selfie camera. A recent leak had revealed that the OPPO R19 would be featuring a center-positioned selfie camera and its rear cameras would be also placed on the center area on the top half of the back panel. Also, the case images of the OPPO R19 that had surfaced in the previous month not only had cutouts for these cameras, but also it featured a cutout for a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Hence, there is a possibility that the above photos may belong to the OPPO R19 handset. As of this writing, there are no leaks that have revealed the presence of pop-up selfie camera on the OPPO F11.

Oppo’s upcoming mid-range smartphones — F11 Pro, which carries the model number CPH1969 was recently certified in Thailand by NBTC. The same device has also been certified by Indonesia’s TKDN along with another phone carrying model number CPH1909.

While the phone’s specifications and features are not yet known, a new report suggests that the company is gearing up to launch the Oppo F11 Pro as well as the Oppo F11 in the Indian market. Along with the Oppo F11-series phones, the company will also launch Oppo R17 Neo. However, no specific timeframe is known for the launch event.

It’s confirmed that the Oppo F11 and F11 Pro will be released by the end of March. According to the rumors, both the models are expected to feature an impressive 10x optical zoom with a triple-camera setup on the back. The company is expected to showcase its 10x optical zoom camera technology at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona next month.

On the other hand, the Oppo R17 Neo is nothing but a toned-down variant of the Oppo R17 smartphone. It features a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. It carries support FHD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset along with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for additional storage. For photography, the device is equipped with horizontally aligned 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. A 25-megapixel selfie shooter is available inside the notch on the front side.

As for the software, the Oppo R17 Neo comes pre-installed with ColorOS 5.2 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The phone is powered by a 3,600mAh battery and is available in gradient color options. The company has already launched the Oppo R17 and R17 Pro in the Indian market.

The OPPO CH1969 was has been recently certified by SIRIM authority in Malaysia, TKDN body in Indonesia and NBTC in Thailand. Through the NBTC certification it has been known that the CPH1969 OPPO handset will be introduced in the market as OPPO F11 Pro. It will be arriving as the successor for the OPPO F9 Pro.

None of the certification bodies have revealed any information on the specifications of the smartphone. Like the predecessor F-series phones, the upcoming OPPO F11 Pro will be aimed towards the Asian markets. There is no confirmation on whether the company will be releasing the OPPO F11 handset alongside it. Last year, various markets in Asia had received the OPPO F9 phone, but India had received the same phone as OPPO F9 Pro.

OPPO has recently confirmed that it will be showcasing its 10x optical zoom technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) tech trade show in the coming month. It remains to be seen whether the Chinese firm will launch the OPPO F11 Pro with 10x optical zoom or it will be reserved for OPPO R19 that is expected to go official in March in China.

The OPPO F9 Pro had arrive with a waterdrop notch screen. Hence, it is likely that the OPPO F11 Pro may either feature the same display or a punch-hole display to offer higher screen space to its users. There is a possibility that the company may opt for a notch-less AMOLED screen like the OPPO Find X for the F11 Pro. Doing so will allow the company to offer in-display fingerprint scanner feature on the device.

The OPPO F9 Pro features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD dewdrop notch screen which is shielded by Gorilla Glass 6. The Helio P60 powers the phone with up to 6 GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 64 GB and comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage. Other features of the phone include 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera, 25-megapixel front camera and 3,500mAh battery with 20W VOOC Flash Charge support.
